| 1 | Please allow me to vent.I don't know that I can put an exact time to it, but I'd say it took ME at least a couple of years to really start feeling better. I'm sure that was prolonged by the fact that she and I lived close to each other, saw each other frequently, and had a few slips here and there [slips, in this case, meaning that I almost allowed myself to think that we could reconcile... we never could/did ]. I don't know your whole story, so this may not apply, but I met my ex when I was 15 years old. We had a chil… | /r/MensRights | 01/10/10 10:24 AM |

It was really hard to rebuild my life... I had no friends whatsoever, and was effectively teetering on the edge of losing my job. I almost felt like it wasn't even worth bothering with the stress of it all, beca… | /r/MensRights | 30/09/10 04:08 PM |
| 1 | Please allow me to vent. You might already know this, but this sounds very similar to my situation, minus the part about her having a job, or being otherwise proactive about anything. How long have you been divorced/separated? | /r/MensRights | 30/09/10 03:54 PM |
