Im a female and have been slut shamed by men. I have heard countless conversations of men slut shaming women. I worked at a tire store and these types of conversations were the norm. Also, these guys rated every woman that walked by from 1-10 based on whether they would want to have sex with her. Sorry OP I have no idea where your coming from on this because my experiences are vastly different from yours.

Yes I know a couple of women at least that this happened to. I have also had a couple guy friends show me nude pics of girls they were having sex with and one was a serious girlfriend.

How does someone know if safety is being taken care of if you just met that person? Or if she had never been alone with him or been to his place? All of my friends would pretty much never go to a guys house right after meeting him or if she’s never hung out with him before. It takes time to get to know someone to try and see if they’re going to do something weird when you’re alone.

I noticed that. You made the right move. I was a little more irritated about the advice you’re getting on here.

Stop trying to convince females so hard. Please stop with all the strategy. We’re not dumb people. She’s not into it and she sobered up, or she was watching out for her safety. Respect that….

I am a female and I respectfully disagree with this logic. If I don’t go home with someone after the first night of hanging out, it’s because of safety reasons. And this is even more the case of I am drinking. It’s so interesting how differently some men view situations compared to women.

I agree with this. It’s really gross all this cockblock stuff. Men shouldn’t try and have sex with girls who aren’t sure they want to have sex. If a woman wants to have sex with you, she will make that happen.

You should still probably make sure she’s not too intoxicated. You don’t want to be someone’s regret or mistake. There should be clear communication about what your doing and where you’re going.

This is a great response. I have been in situations where I’m glad my friends convinced me to leave with them. I have also many times convinced friends to leave with me and they were grateful afterwards.

I disqualify men younger than 27 and older than 37 lol it doesn’t matter if men disqualify me because I’m 30 because I know everyone can set their own standards and IM HAPPY BEING SINGLE. I think I can be single for the rest of my life and be happy, especially instead of having to lower my standards and be less happy.

Oh gosh! I agree! What’s up with the obsession of living together?! Sharing a bed is the worst. It’s really hard to sleep next to someone!

A good choice!! No reason to Take on someone else’s baggage when you made good decisions for your own happiness. You’ll most likely enjoy life more being single anyways.

And scars, stretch marks, loose skin, strange looking breasts, loose other things. And they usually have lots of baggage 🧳. Surprise everyone!! There’s consequences/ sacrifices to having children!!! And men have the right to pass that up!

Well, even my friends who have kids would rather date people who don’t, and some feel the same as me where they won’t date people who have kids. Im my opinion, even if they’re great people, a relationship will be more complicated with someone who has kids versus someone who does not. Especially at my age, where the children are still young. Maybe I will date men with children....when I’m 50...but then again...maybe I’m still better off single. I have that choice.

Yes it is drama city. So much to explain, but all that really matters is it was never ending headache and drama. There’s stuff you have to work through with anyone while dating. The addition of children is wayyyyy too much for me. I want to have fun and be happy. Not to bring drama onto myself.

Im a 30 female. I’ve dated two men with kids and I disqualify them immediately now. Lesson learned. I’d rather be single.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
