You are basically screwed until the last one turns 18

Yes and they get overturned all the time. Not to mention the amount of fraud she can pull during the marriage.
/r/Divorce_Men16/03/24 02:11 AM
5

Hell No. You want to split your retirement and pay maintenance again? Because I have seen it happen.

The problem is "Loneliness" and the solution is "Golf"
/r/Divorce_Men13/03/24 04:56 PM

This is the correct answer.
/r/Divorce_Men13/03/24 03:40 AM

That will come later. Go find a good lawyer and get all the cash out of the bank. If she has talked to a lawyer she has already acted and you are screwed lol!!

This is the correct answer.

Yea for a little while.

Dude you should be banging chicks 2 at a time lol!! Just don't let them move in or get engaged hahahahahahahahah!!! They did this to themselves. Enjoy!
/r/Divorce_Men04/03/24 05:04 PM
4

NEVER!! You have her meet you at the local sheriff's office to do the transfer and get the kids on the weekends. 0 verbal communication. You can thank me later.
/r/Divorce_Men03/03/24 05:52 PM

Are you a good worker? Do you provide? Maybe it’s time to re-think what you’re doing and who you are doing it for.
/r/Divorce_Men03/03/24 01:34 AM

Let the bitch go! And don’t ever make the mistake of letting her return!
/r/Divorce_Men03/03/24 01:17 AM

Move.
/r/Divorce_Men29/02/24 03:10 AM

It depends, are you a glutton for punishment? I mean it’s just another kid to pay for right?

The answer is always = Dirtbike.

Yea these guys like to pretend I’m wrong, but I watched it happen to every single one of my buddies.

/r/Divorce_Men24/02/24 05:37 AM

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!! Wait until he is living in the home you are paying for lol
/r/Divorce_Men24/02/24 05:13 AM
2

What’s worse is when you loose your job or miss a few payments they come and throw you in jail lol! I used to joke all the time I never had any issues with drugs and they used to tell us in school how dangerous they are, I think they should do the same for marriage lol!
/r/Divorce_Men24/02/24 12:24 AM
1

Don’t get me wrong I think paying support for your kids is fine. It’s when you pay her alimony and some dude is sitting on the couch you paid for in your home you paid for while she basically does everything possible to not earn a dime and impact her paycheck lol!
/r/Divorce_Men24/02/24 12:22 AM
3

It’s the one state in the US that doesn’t extradite for non payment of child support.
/r/Divorce_Men24/02/24 12:19 AM
1

Trust me dude, leaving will make you suffer more. Unless you are planning on going rogue and moving to Texas and leaving her with the kids lol!
/r/Divorce_Men23/02/24 11:05 PM
2

As opposed to him leaving and letting some random dude come in and pay the bills while he works himself to death with NOTHING to show for it? Nope, keep your mouth shut and BOLT when the last one turns 18.
/r/Divorce_Men23/02/24 09:19 PM
3

You really can't afford divorce. You are better off waiting until the last kid is 18 and then leaving. You leave now you will pay her and all 3 of the kids. They won't even leave you with enough to survive on. Keep your mouth shut and suck it up. Play nice or you will suffer!
/r/Divorce_Men23/02/24 09:01 PM
8

Why do you think the term “Cheaper to keep her” exists lol!
/r/Divorce_Men18/02/24 06:03 PM
6

You need to find a slimy lawyer to show you how to setup a protected trust. Then the financial impacts will be covered next time.
/r/Divorce_Men17/02/24 07:18 PM
1

Ask around, there is normally a few good ones in every city but they don’t advertise.
/r/Divorce_Men16/02/24 01:27 AM
2

Find another lawyer. Laws very from state to state and any advice may only hurt you based on your situation.
/r/Divorce_Men16/02/24 12:36 AM
3

She went and found good legal representation and you need to do the same. Reddit is not the place for this type of question.
/r/Divorce_Men15/02/24 09:45 PM
8

Mind your business... she will find out soon enough.
/r/Divorce_Men15/02/24 08:55 PM
6

NEVER ever have any contact with her. All communications should be thru an attorney.
/r/Divorce_Men14/02/24 08:45 PM
5

Went back to school and was much more careful with relationships after. I was poor when I got divorced, if I had gone thru it 10 years later it would have been much more devastating. LEARN FROM YOUR MISTAKES!
/r/Divorce_Men13/02/24 08:21 PM
2

I had that for a Summer, it was amazing.
/r/Divorce_Men12/02/24 11:10 PM
6

Did you ever ask to watch the 2 of them? Just curious...
/r/Divorce_Men12/02/24 09:38 PM
5

Mark my words, she will come for all of it and you will have to payback retroactively.
/r/Divorce_Men11/02/24 11:27 PM
4

Lawyer up. You are about to get a big surprise!
/r/Divorce_Men11/02/24 09:25 PM
6

Oh hell yes!
/r/Divorce_Men11/02/24 06:52 PM
1

Make it work until the youngest is 18. Trust me you will thank me later.
/r/Divorce_Men05/02/24 07:49 PM
3

All I can think of is this https://youtu.be/B37l3HHMREU
/r/Divorce_Men15/08/22 04:21 PM
2

Lawyer up. Different states have different laws and ways around them. If you have cash its best to put into a safety deposit box owned by someone you trust and say you lost it "Gambling" lol! All assets should be liquid and stashed but like I said you need to find a lawyer who knows how to protect it based on your states laws.
/r/Divorce_Men15/08/22 03:18 PM
6

Yea well guess what? She is going to decide when you see the kid so get that in your head right now. The court does not enforce visitation hardly at all. But... you miss a few support payments and they will come and put you in jail. You are at war! Lawyer up and get in the game!
/r/Divorce_Men15/08/22 02:49 PM
1

Lonely? Just go to the topless bar lol! Lots of friendly girls 👧 lol!
/r/Divorce_Men15/08/22 12:58 AM
4

This is the correct answer. You are now at war so lawyer up!
/r/Divorce_Men14/08/22 07:38 PM
1

This is the correct answer. You don’t have to worry, the state will take what it thinks is fair.
/r/Divorce_Men14/08/22 07:34 PM
4

When you have resources there are legal things you can do to protect more of it. You don't want to hand her more than you have to.
/r/Divorce_Men13/08/22 05:20 AM
3

You are getting bad advice. Depending on your state you should have setup a trust for protection. Find a dirty lawyer.
/r/Divorce_Men13/08/22 04:02 AM
7

Your lawyer will know what to do. When I see stuff like this it tells me her team is soaking her with legal expenses.
/r/Divorce_Men11/08/22 07:06 PM
8

You are beyond that. Lawyer up and prepare for war! She is being guided and you need someone to guide you as well!
/r/Divorce_Men11/08/22 06:37 PM
14

Pssst (That's what child support is for) You should have never agreed to anything else.
/r/Divorce_Men11/08/22 02:28 PM
1

Your attorney will fill you in on your options based on your state.
/r/Divorce_Men10/08/22 08:27 PM
1

Dude why are you asking here? You need to go to an attorney and start setting up a "Trust" and moving assets. Most people here don't even have enough assets to care about but you really need to think about what you are willing to give her and what you will be FORCED to give her.
/r/Divorce_Men10/08/22 07:10 PM
2

Well fortunately for me my cousin went thru a horrible divorce 6 years before I got married so I was "Prepared" with a safety deposit box and an off shore bank account I could use. I still lost a ton but not as much as I could have. The big one is getting all the cash out of the bank before she does.
/r/Divorce_Men10/08/22 06:46 PM
2

Weird post of the day lol!
/r/Divorce_Men10/08/22 05:55 PM
16

Correct. It only changes if you or her goes back and changes it. so keep your mouth shut! This also includes anyone who has contact with both of you.
/r/Divorce_Men10/08/22 05:21 PM
2

I had the same exact issue. Fortunately for me I had an EXCELLENT lawyer. You need to move away and cut all communication. Let your lawyer deal with it.
/r/Divorce_Men10/08/22 03:48 PM
3

Why the hell would you want to talk to her? The ENTIRE point of a divorce is to get away and start over. There are 3.9 BILLION chicks on the planet. Go find another one!
/r/Divorce_Men10/08/22 03:46 PM
1

Who?
/r/Divorce_Men09/08/22 08:16 PM
5

The fact you know your anniversary date says it all lol! Go play as it’s a man’s world!
/r/Divorce_Men09/08/22 05:56 PM
5

A "2nd Masters"? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!
/r/Divorce_Men09/08/22 04:34 PM
5

What do you have to split? Are there significant assets involved? Kids? If not just leave and do everything remote. Its time to split and rebuild. Its easy at 25 lol!
/r/Divorce_Men09/08/22 02:46 PM
12

Go get another lawyer. Also it may help you move away and let your attorney handle it. A good lawyer is the first step.
/r/Divorce_Men09/08/22 02:39 PM
1

Sounds like she is being "Persuaded" and if its a dude... he should get what's due. Obviously you cant take brass knuckles to a girl but there are other ways to ruin their lives lol!
/r/Divorce_Men09/08/22 02:12 PM
2

Yea everything is fine until you realize she is banging homeless dudes on a couch you paid for in a home or apartment you are paying for lol!
/r/Divorce_Men09/08/22 01:25 AM
6

This is the correct answer. You are at war you better start acting like it!
/r/Divorce_Men09/08/22 12:30 AM
4

Meh... if you have medical issues and play your cards right you will be fine. If you fuck up and let her play you... be ready to be indebted to her for the next 10 years lol! Lawyer up and prepare for war!
/r/Divorce_Men08/08/22 08:57 PM
2

Do you pay for her phone? Maybe its time to install some software. You will need it for the divorce.
/r/Divorce_Men08/08/22 08:41 PM
3

Oh its the most messed up things I ever read about but it happens all the time.
/r/Divorce_Men08/08/22 08:29 PM
3

Dude... go get an attorney. You may end up paying for the kid even if its not yours!
/r/Divorce_Men08/08/22 07:39 PM
2

Sounds like someone is fucking with your marriage. Maybe some brass knuckles are in order?
/r/Divorce_Men08/08/22 07:31 PM
12

Does she golf?
/r/Divorce_Men07/08/22 11:03 PM
2

The only way to deal with an ex like that is to stop all communication and move away. Make her send all communications to your attorney. Girls like this only want drama and it’s going to get worse.
/r/Divorce_Men07/08/22 03:21 PM
3

Don’t do it. Go get a lawyer and tell her to contact them for future communication. Then go on vacation. Save yourself the hassle of being manipulated.
/r/Divorce_Men06/08/22 06:03 PM
2

Ignore her and move on quickly! Maybe even think about moving?
/r/Divorce_Men06/08/22 03:50 PM
1

Changes nothing. Move forward.
/r/Divorce_Men03/08/22 02:21 PM
6

You messed up right from the start. The play is you have and make all the money and you pay all the bills and give her an "Allowance" that she lives on. IF she wants to spend more then go ahead she can spend HER money, but she needs to live on what you give her. If you do get a divorce you need something called a "Forensic Accountant" and they will find all that "Offshore Money" and make sure its included in the divorce. Start gathering evidence NOW for a battle later.
/r/Divorce_Men03/08/22 02:12 PM
23

You need to go to the court and tell them you lost your job and need help. Also do you have an attorney? Because if you get a new job not making as much you may be able to get a modification.
/r/Divorce_Men31/07/22 02:26 PM
5

Yea I wish there where mandatory classes for Men before marriage. Like this is what you are legally liable for if you separate. Here is what you are legally allowed to do beforehand.
/r/Divorce_Men29/07/22 01:00 PM
5

Some people just want drama lol!
/r/Divorce_Men28/07/22 11:54 PM
25

That's when you have to "Disconnect". I moved to Montana, changed my number and pretty much let my attorney take care of everything.
/r/Divorce_Men28/07/22 09:03 PM
48

If I had a dime for every chick who let a man put them thru college and then divorced taking 1/2 I would be a millionaire!
/r/Divorce_Men28/07/22 08:19 PM
22

The funny thing about these types of situations is the court will make you pay support and alimony even it its not yours. I know it sucks but you may as well wait until they are 18 to do anything. Visitation is also not guaranteed in any way if there is a DNA test validation. Support is worse than you could imagine. Even if you are not working you still pay support. They even take it out of your unemployment if you ever need it.
/r/Divorce_Men27/07/22 10:04 PM
1

Focus on the keywords "Before"
/r/Divorce_Men27/07/22 07:25 PM
2

Well first off if you allow her access to the family bank accounts you should open new accounts in your name only and move all the money out. You could cash out all retirement funds and put the cash in a safety deposit box. These are all actions that are "Legal" BEFORE she files. Key word is BEFORE! Start liquidation to protect yourself. Go find a good dirty lawyer who can help you lol!
/r/Divorce_Men27/07/22 05:42 PM
1

No, I got smart and MOVED THE FUCK OUT!!
/r/Divorce_Men27/07/22 04:59 PM
3

Do you have assets? Did anyone file "Yet" because a good dirty lawyer will tell you what to do before she actually files. You are going to need guidance specifically for Michigan law.
/r/Divorce_Men27/07/22 03:34 PM
2

You are pretty much screwed. Even if you have an excellent lawyer and spend all kinds of money the court does what it does. You will pay some alimony and weekly child support for the next 18 years. Get ready to live in poverty because the more money you make the more they take!
/r/Divorce_Men27/07/22 01:44 PM
6

Lifetime alimony? WTF??
/r/Divorce_Men27/07/22 12:49 PM
14

It’s the risk you take when you get married. Kids just makes it worse because she will get money for them but spend it not working.
/r/Divorce_Men27/07/22 02:04 AM
4

You where not the first and you won’t be the last. Move on.
/r/Divorce_Men26/07/22 12:44 AM
1

Yea I did it for an entire Summer with 2 girls but we where just kids and no marriage involved but holy cow what a Summer!
/r/Divorce_Men24/07/22 12:15 AM
2

OK lets think this thru.... Your wife "Thinks" she's a lesbian so let her have a girlfriend and you can maybe be the 3rd party in the relationship and fuck them both hahahahah! Just trying to make you laugh.
/r/Divorce_Men22/07/22 08:45 PM
3

Starting now you are in a battle. She messed up and you need to go get a lawyer. Also stop communicating 100%. you need to discuss something? Do it thru the lawyer. She messed up but wont realize it for a few weeks. Then she will start asking you to sign off on everything. LAWYER UP!!
/r/Divorce_Men22/07/22 04:41 PM
1

Stop the "GIG Work" bull$hit. Start looking for jobs you can do from home. Phone support and even telemarketing pays much more than delivering.
/r/Divorce_Men22/07/22 04:39 PM
22

I see this all the time. You are probably making much more cash than he is but she wants to bang him and have all the benefits you provide. Dump that bitch and move on.
/r/Divorce_Men21/07/22 08:23 PM
1

"Sex is also quite good and very regular." = she may be trying to get pregnant again lol!
/r/Divorce_Men19/07/22 06:08 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
