Who said anything about having kids? I said BODYCOUNT. Men with high bodycounts aren’t shamed nearly as often as women are. Quit the deflecting.
/r/AntiFeminists10/01/23 07:58 PM

That isn’t the same thing at all haha. Being a deadbeat is something that should be shamed. Leaving around kids everywhere is gross. Especially if you leave them without any help and barely see them. Like in what world is that remotely the same as having a high body count?

I know that men are women are different I’m not stupid. So you don’t constantly have to bring that up. You also can’t use that argument to justify all sexism that happens towards women (I feel like some people do). But do you think that women should be shamed for it just because it’s easy? Because many people do use that argument. Or do you just believe men only should be praised for it? And that is my point. Just because something is easy doesn’t mean it’s shameful.
/r/AntiFeminists10/01/23 11:16 AM

And why exactly is it relevant that it is more difficult for men? That doesn’t mean they can’t catch std’s. If men and women both sleep with 100, they both have a big chance of catching something. And how exactly does something being easy mean that they do it in a short period of time? You just making assumptions at this point.
/r/AntiFeminists10/01/23 10:38 AM

Does any of that mean that we should shame women and praise men? Sure you can praise men because it’s harder. But is that a good reason to shame women? Just because something is easier? I don’t think so. Maybe women don’t deserve praise, but they also don’t deserve shame for it. And is it truelly difficult for all men? Take for instance Christianio Ronaldo? I don’t think it’s hard for him to score women at all. Maybe even easier then for most women. So that means we can shame him for it? Or that…
/r/AntiFeminists10/01/23 10:08 AM

How is it different? Please enlighten me with your sexism.
/r/AntiFeminists10/01/23 09:33 AM

Exactly. But just because something is easy is not a reason to shame it. Sure it deserves less praise, but no need to shame it. Preferences are of course always okay. But the slut-shaming that some people do is actually insane. And the fact that they only do it towards women is sexist.

Because men aren’t shamed for it (usually).. duh

Women get upset because of the double standard. Men don’t get shamed for it nearly as often as women. So of course men don’t get upset.
/r/AntiFeminists10/01/23 07:14 AM

The problem isn’t if you care about body counts. The problem is the double standard. Don’t sleep with 100 people and then freak out if a girl does the same. That’s hypocritical.

That’s what I said as well. He’s allowed to have fears even if they don’t make sense. and even then his fear isn’t a phobia like some fears are. Like women still commit murders just like men do. Chances are just a bit smaller. And I do think some feminists are extreme in their stances and in they way the talk/speak about men.
/r/AntiFeminists06/01/23 06:08 AM

The other way around is at least a bit more realistic.. like how many women kill men compared to men killing women? The numbers are a lot lower. Men are also way more often killed by other men. So I don’t why he specifically is scared of women. But he’s allowed to have fears of course. So he’s free to feel that way even it is a bit strange.

I don’t think Andrew Tate is a very good example though. Hasn’t he admitted to grooming and using women for sex and money? That has nothing to do with being demoralized and all with demoralizing yourself for money and status. He’s also arrested for it.. so yeah. Not a good role model in my opinion.

Talking about men wanting less independence for women is ‘nothing’? Way to minimize the disgusting comments that are in here.
/r/AntiFeminists28/12/22 06:34 PM
2

My problem with this sub it not hate but the fact that men in here often hate that women have become independent, have their own money etc. They argue against women being independent sometimes and I really disagree with that. But then again, that’s not all people on here. But I have often seen it. And that is arguing against women’s rights.
/r/AntiFeminists28/12/22 05:52 PM
1

I have seen comments that demonize all women pretty regularly. Though I just say that the mods do usually delete these type of comments. So I don’t think the sub as a whole is that hateful. Believing in equality isn’t hate. But saying all women are like this and this. Or all women are that is hateful. And I’ve seen comments like this a lot. But like I said they are usually removed.
/r/AntiFeminists28/12/22 04:58 PM

You can’t talk for women just because you are a woman. Doesn’t work like that. It also doesn’t make you anymore qualified to speak on it then a man. Just speak for yourself. Also, complimenting isn’t catcalling. Catcalling is different, it’s things like hissing, shouting sexual things. And give me an example of a media that blames a guy for being groped. I haven’t seen it. But I’m curious.
/r/AntiFeminists28/12/22 04:25 PM

I’m sure the feminist also have no issue with men that just want equal rights ;) It’s the hate towards women that we have a problem with.
/r/AntiFeminists28/12/22 03:12 PM

You could say the same thing about feminists, but you also hate them.. pretty bad argument. Both movements are so much more then just ‘we want equal rights’.
/r/AntiFeminists28/12/22 02:14 PM

Maybe I’m confusing you with a another person that said he never goes to work parties out of fear of being accused falsely. My bad, thought that was you.
/r/MensRights21/12/22 09:44 PM
1

Avoiding work parties.. work parties are a normal part of having a job.
/r/MensRights21/12/22 08:49 PM
1

You largely overestimate how often things like that happen. I would almost call it a phobia. And I don’t avoid all men because they might rape me. I avoid being alone with men I don’t know. But I wouldn’t skip partaking in normal, social events because of the extremely small chance something like that might happen afterwards. That’s just not normal.
/r/MensRights21/12/22 08:18 PM
0

You avoid normal parts of human life due to the very small chance of being accused of something. That isn’t normal at all. Of course I assume that you are afraid.
/r/MensRights21/12/22 08:16 PM
-1

But why interact with women at all if you are that scared? A holiday work party isn’t the only place it can theoretically happen.. just saying haha
/r/MensRights21/12/22 05:40 PM
-2

Yea they can that’s why I said ‘usually’, but she chances are extremely small right
/r/MensRights21/12/22 05:18 PM
1

I don’t know, some people like being friendly with coworkers. But if you don’t care about being social etc. Then that’s a good reason not to go. And meanwhile you also don’t have the risk of saying something stupid while drunk or being accused of touching someone for no reason.
/r/MensRights21/12/22 05:02 PM
1

Still interesting that you are more scared of being falsely accused then dying in a car crash or being stabbed/killed while walking the street. Interesting. The changes are probably not even that different.
/r/MensRights21/12/22 04:54 PM
1

True, just don’t ever leave the house then nothing bad will happen to you.
/r/MensRights21/12/22 04:52 PM
2

That was not the way I meant it, I’ll explain: If you go out and drive your car you accept a super small risk that you might get into an accident and get hurt or even die. If you go out you also accept the really small risk that someone might try to steal something from you, hurt you, get drugged while going out, rape you etc (this can even happen during daytime, although chances are very low). Those are all small ‘risks’ that are part of human life unfortunately. And things that we are aware of…
/r/MensRights21/12/22 04:46 PM
-6

Just don’t get drunk and don’t get alone in a room. I mean how often do you hear actual serious rape accusations when you haven’t even gotten in a room alone with the woman? It usually happens after actual consensual sex right.
/r/MensRights21/12/22 03:10 PM
3

Yes but you’re already dead / injured so does that really matter? Seems like you just accept the risk that you might die in traffic. Maybe you should also accept this astronomically small risk of the accusation of rape.
/r/MensRights21/12/22 03:07 PM
-6

Honestly if I was you I would just stop leaving the house. Who knows what happens if you accidentally look at a woman for 0,5 sec and she accuses you of rape. The risk is definitely there.
/r/MensRights21/12/22 03:05 PM
0

But are you gonna avoid work parties when the chances are super small? Just make sure you aren’t alone in a room with a woman. Also don’t become super drunk so you don’t do anything stupid. And how often do rape accusations happen if there hasn’t even been any physical contact and you havent’ been alone in a room with the women? Chances must be astronomically small.
/r/MensRights21/12/22 03:02 PM
0

How do you think that false accusations lead to prosecution when so many real rapes don’t even lead to prosecution (due to lack of evidence)? A word against a word doesn’t crimininalize anyone, you need actual evidence for that.
/r/MensRights21/12/22 02:57 PM
1

How can road rules protect you if you are dead or severely injured? Driving carefully won’t completely protect. So many incidents are caused by one of two drivers. And that one driver can kill multiple people.
/r/MensRights21/12/22 02:36 PM
-1

What is that common sense? On this sub? You should be banned for that.
/r/MensRights21/12/22 02:35 PM
1

Aren’t carcrashes caused by one of two drivers? So crashes aren’t always caused by yourself. You can drive safely and still die yet you probably choose to drive. Same goes for flying on a plane. If it crashes there’s nothing you can do and yet you accept the risk of it. It’s just dumb to hold yourself back in fear of something that won’t kill you and usually is extremely hard to prove (even actual rapists rarely get convicted).
/r/MensRights21/12/22 02:35 PM

Would a pig be offended if I called him a pig?

So that means moms aren’t important? Is that what you are trying to say?
/r/AntiFeminists20/12/22 11:52 PM

Why would you only imitate your dad for what’s right or wrong? I mean if you are a boy I can underhand that you look at your father more often as an example than your mother. But there’s also this also gender that kids can have (it’s girls). Why would girls especially only look at their dads? That makes no sense
/r/AntiFeminists20/12/22 10:15 PM

I mean it is a really big issue. But I don’t see how it can be blamed on feminism. I think it’s more an issue for worker’s unions. They need to press for safer work environments.
/r/AntiFeminists20/12/22 01:42 PM
1

Women that work those same undesirable jobs have the same chance of dying as men. They just choose to not work those dangerous jobs and men voluntarily choose dangerous jobs. That’s why you see that gap. It’s the same reason that men die more often in traffic. They drive more recklessly and more often so there is a higher risk of dying. That’s not feminism’s fault.
/r/AntiFeminists20/12/22 01:35 PM
-1

If the pay gap doesn’t exist because women choose lower paid jobs and work less hours then there also is no gap in work deaths because men choose more dangerous jobs and work more hours in those jobs.
/r/AntiFeminists20/12/22 01:06 PM

I mean can you really blame people for not wanting to be financially dependent on someone? You so realize it makes you very very vulnerable for financial abuse and other abuse? It’s a lot of power for the man. And some men did abuse that power unfortunately. And although I sometimes wish I could have the life of a 60’s housewife, I’m also glad that I am independent so if shit truelly hits the fan. I also can buy nice stuff for myself, my husband and my future kids so that’s nice.

I mean in today’s day and age we don’t need a boyfriend to survive. But let’s be honest now, being together with someone you love is one of the most beautiful things there is. And it does make life easier (being with the right person).
/r/AntiFeminists20/12/22 06:36 AM
1

Why would I blame someone else for being alone (I have a boyfriend for 5 years now, but that’s besides my point). It’s your own responsibility to be attractive enough to find someone. And if you aren’t able to after trying, then that’s a you problem. That also goes for women. And nope I don’t need a man to live, but it does make my life a lot more beautiful and easier being together with one.
/r/AntiFeminists20/12/22 06:32 AM
1

There is no issue there.. don’t you realize that in this day and age we have to behave more like men to earn a living? Like how am I gonna be submissive if I work 40 hours a week. Like sure, if my boyfriend was a really rich tradition man, then maybe. But most western women don’t have the option to be a submissive housewife. It’s literally a luxury to be able to live that life. Asian women aren’t that submissive either. I mean they are literally notorious for being very strict, dominant moms.
/r/AntiFeminists20/12/22 06:28 AM

Well if I wait long enough my boyfriend will turn 70, hopefully. But it’s different if you’re also 70 yourself. I wouldn’t wanna be with a 70 year old if I was 40 for instance.
/r/AntiFeminists20/12/22 06:27 AM
-4

Just admit that you can’t even get a western woman and that’s why you act like you like Asian woman are better. So in reality it’s just because you can’t find a girl the regular way. Usually (not always of course).
/r/AntiFeminists20/12/22 05:29 AM
0

Yes older white men. They usually tried getting a wife the regular way and it didn’t work out. That’s how it usually goes. They don’t like Asian woman better. They just can’t get a western woman.
/r/AntiFeminists20/12/22 05:27 AM
-4

How are most men glad to leave me alone? In what world haha. I’m a young good looking woman, so it isn’t like men don’t want me. I mean I get looks, approaches etc. You really live in a dreamworld if you think all men suddenly stop wanting western women. Men going for Asian women only is such a small group. Be realistic. Plus I have a boyfriend for 5 years now and he’s 6 foot tall with massive arms. He doesn’t have a sicpack though but he’s very hot and has a good job. So I’m good.
/r/AntiFeminists20/12/22 05:22 AM
-4

How could that be me? I’m not an Asian woman..
/r/AntiFeminists20/12/22 05:21 AM
-11

But how often does it really happen? I mean I only know 1 guy in real life that has married an Asian women. And he’s a 70 year old pastor that barely has any money and he’s married to a 40 year old. I honestly just feel sorry for the Asian women that have to pretend to love some old white guy out of desperation.
/r/AntiFeminists19/12/22 10:35 PM

It’s a win if people like you would leave us alone..
/r/AntiFeminists19/12/22 10:33 PM

that is because we carry the responsibility to use birth control if they don’t want to get pregnant and we also carry most of the responsibilities and all of the physical pain and damage if we do get pregnant. So it isn’t equal to begin with. And so to me it’s only right that women get the final say. Anything else wouldn’t be fair to us. Like you can’t force a woman to go through pregnancy and childbirth. So the outcome is that men have a little less to choose, but that only makes sense to me. L…
/r/AntiFeminists17/12/22 05:58 PM

You obviously have no clue of everything that happens to a women’s body when she grows a baby. It isn’t the same thing as a man does. It’s not equal thus we have more rights in this regard. Like how are you gonna both have a 50% in whether to keep the baby? What happens if two people disagree? In that case the woman should have final say because it’s her body that’s getting wrecked not yours.
/r/AntiFeminists17/12/22 05:54 PM
2

So why are men worrying about getting a baby if they choose to be sexually active then? That’s the same logic you just used haha.
/r/AntiFeminists17/12/22 03:09 PM
2

No that’s not what I’m saying.. I mean abortion should be legal but not if the baby is already able to survive on it’s own. But how is a 11 week old fetus for instance a man’s legacy? What has he even done to create it? He ejaculated and that’s it.
/r/AntiFeminists17/12/22 03:08 PM
1

I just said why feminism still exists. I already know you disagree with it, but that wasn’t my point at all. Many people disagree with the black life matters movement to, but still understand why it exists in the first place. Like black people have all the same rights, yet they are still fighting for equal treatment. That also goes for feminism.
/r/AntiFeminists17/12/22 02:57 PM
2

Without worrying about a child? What are you talking about? We have to take birth control every day or have medical devices put in our bodies in order not to get pregnant which hurts like hell. We literally carry most of the responsibility not to get pregnant. Trust me, becoming pregnant was one of my biggest fears and it’s not something only men struggle with. And abortion isn’t cute, it’s scary and not something we want to use.
/r/AntiFeminists17/12/22 02:52 PM
-5

The argument of the op was: women have all the rights men have, so feminism shouldn’t exist. I’m saying that feminism is about a lot more then just rights. It’s about sexism, misogyny etc. So that’s why feminism still exists. And feminists also fight for the right to abortion (men don’t have a uterus so you can’t really compare).
/r/AntiFeminists17/12/22 02:34 PM
-9

I mean yess I have seen that, but I was talking about feminism right now. It doesn’t only exist because off rights, it’s a lot more then that.

You are kind of stupid if you think feminism is only about rights. It’s about so much more.. casual sexism being one of them.

You are assuming a lot of things about my stance that are very far from the truth actually. I for instance never said women were the main victims of war. Both men and women were victims of war. Some men a lot worse even because they were the ones getting their legs blown off, getting ptsd. Women were also victims because they could get bombed, lose family members, get raped by enemy forces. So nope, war is horrible and everyone is a victim. Some more then others, but definitely some men have had…

Well I don’t have a dick but I’m not gonna prove that to you. So be my guest and believe that I’m a man if you want. But what men are dying exactly? You can literally see and look up that married men on average are happier and live longer then their single counterparts. So apparently being with a woman is good for men. But what do you mean when I hit the wall? You mean regular aging just like men? I’m not really worried about hitting a wall to be honest. I already have a boyfriend for 5 years no…

I just looked at your profile and your posts and it seems like I was right. You are severely depressed, lonely, tired. And you have been abused. That’s why you ‘act hateful’, calling me names etc. But that’s not you, you are just acting out because you aren’t happy in life. But please don’t act out on women as a gender and get help because you obviously need it. And I hope you do find the help you need.
/r/AntiFeminists10/12/22 03:26 PM

Keep telling yourself that haha. Nobody is gonna believe that if you behave like a wild monkey that is angry with every woman that has an opinion.

Hahaha you are so dumb bitch. Goodluck with an attitude like that. You will always be alone, lonely and unhappy if you don’t change. And you will have never known true love from a woman. Most women I know (including myself) work at least 35+ hours week and we also do our fair share at home, so I don’t really get why you are so negative about western women? Most of us work really hard.. I mean I cook and clean together with my boyfriend and we both work 40 hours. And I’m also thankful of the life I have. But I’m not gonna say that I have this life only because of western men. I mean western men have played a very great part in it, but they couldn’t have done it without western wo…

Stop taking everything so literally, it’s not about splitting everything 50/50. I’m talking about an even and fair workload. You are a team, not at war with each other. And It works best if everyone does what he or she is best at. Like for instance, I’m a great cook so I cook most nights and my boyfriend is better at vacuuming, so that’s his task. We both work fulltime, so of course I’m not gonna do all household tasks.
/r/AntiFeminists10/12/22 02:52 PM
2

Stop taking everything so literally. You’re supposed to be a team. It’s not about literally splitting everything. It’s about having an even workload. It’s totally cool if you only want to work 40 hours and you want a stay at home wife. But don’t go and do nothing in the house if your wife is also working.
/r/AntiFeminists10/12/22 02:50 PM

Well I think that’s not a real man, happy now? Go be a ‘real man’ that does nothing to help his wife except earn money. Be my guest.

1

Dude, I never said women shouldn’t do housework. Learn to read before starting discussion. The workload should be 50/50, so you don’t literally have to split everything, but it should be even. Both should spent around the same amount of time working, doing house hold duties etc in total. So if a woman doesn’t work and the man does then she should do a lot more in the house. My complaint is that if a woman works, the man should also do household duties. How difficult is that to understand you dum…

I would never get in the car of a strange man on the first place. I would go to a public place. But if I had to do something like for my safety I would. I don’t care if someone is hurt by that. My safety comes first to me and I’m willing to admit that.
/r/AntiFeminists10/12/22 01:39 PM

I can’t define a man, all I did was give you my opinion and you got very mad. But it seems like you have created a good life for yourself, and you cook and clean yourself which is great. So you don’t have to get so offended. But I don’t think a lot of women are sad that you don’t date them.. you don’t seem like a man that has a lot is respect for women. So it’s probably for the best that you don’t date them if you hate modern women so much.
/r/AntiFeminists10/12/22 01:06 PM

I can still give my opinion though, and if you truelly didn’t give a fuck you wouldn’t be responding to it so angrily while calling me a hoe and a bitch. You already showed that you are a pathetic excuse of a man, so you can stop now.
/r/AntiFeminists10/12/22 12:53 PM
-7

You didn’t say that in your first comment though, that’s why it seemed very unfair to me. And I still think it’s unfair that the man that does absolutely nothing in the house. It just seems wrong to me. Like he’s okay with his wife working so hard and not helping her a little bit. I would not be okay with a relationship like that. You’re supposed to be a team. If your wife works 80 hours to support her family just help her a bit a least. She’s also family after all and the mother of their kids.
/r/AntiFeminists10/12/22 12:51 PM

Dude I’m talking about a man and woman that both work fulltime. Why can’t a man do some house work to? Split everything 50/50, that’s true equality. I never said the man has to do everything, so please learn to read next time retard. And also, have some respect. Your mom probably doesn’t like that you call women bitches and hoes.
/r/AntiFeminists10/12/22 12:41 PM
-16

If both work fulltime, you should split 50/50, that’s fair. The fact that a man can watch his wife work fulltime and also do everything in the household is not a real man to me. I would instantly break up with a man that expected me to do everything while he was laying on his lazy ass. Gross

How is it fair that a woman has to work fulltime and take care of everything else. Go be a real man and earn a living so that she doesn’t have to take both roles. Fucking pathetic. Men like that are so lazy.
/r/AntiFeminists10/12/22 11:14 AM

Why are mad at this? This stuff actually happens in real life and it’s a good thing that women and men think about that and take it seriously. It’s sweet that this guy actually thinks ahead about his date’s comfort. That’s not something you would ever do. All you care about is being a victim of ‘women assume we are rapists’, no we don’t, but you never know. Safety first, your feelings second.

Most feminists are regular feminists though. And you seem to think they are stupid like kids. We don’t just get ‘brainwashed’ like that, we all have our own thoughts and opinions just like you. There are many different degrees of feminism, and we are not one group like you seem to think. Like for instance I am a feminist and I don’t believe in patriarchy. I also don’t believe in the gender pay gap. Most regular feminists also don’t hate men. Most of us love men. So honestly you need to stop judg…

Do you know this for sure or are these just the extreme feminists you see online? What I mean is: do you really think most women that are regular feminists, but not really activists also think this way?
/r/AntiFeminists07/12/22 06:28 PM
-2

Okay maybe some feminists see that as misogyny. But it also isn’t okay how you guys view feminism like some hivemind. Many feminists don’t have extreme ideas about men. There’s also a huge difference between: ‘I avoid women because all women are bitches’ and ‘I avoid women because I want to focus on myself and my career’. Some things can be misogynistic while others things aren’t.
/r/AntiFeminists07/12/22 02:08 PM

I’m a feminist and nope we don’t think that’s misogyny. Many men already do this and that’s totally okay, your life your choice right.

‘No’ was apparently an acceptable answer since so many people voted for that. So why exactly was no as an answer unacceptable ?

I should ignore sexism because it doesn’t happen all the time? That doesn’t sound very logical… and I’m just giving you examples of why sexism can be dangerous… and sexism against women does happen all over the world. The way in which it happens is different in many cultures though. There are about 34 more million men in China then women (because of the abortions of baby fetuses). I’m sure that comes close to the handful of babies that are aborted due to being boys in the US. In total in the US,…
/r/AntiFeminists04/12/22 04:03 PM
1

Ahh I see what you mean now! That’s an assumption and I completely read over that. Sexism against men is real of course. I do know some cultures where sexism against women is a lot worse and women definitely suffer because of that. Cultures that for instance say that the word of a woman is worth half of that of a man. Or where a man can be free from prosecution if he marries the girl he raped. Cultures like that, I’m sorry but it’s just clear that the sexism is mostly towards women.
/r/AntiFeminists04/12/22 03:48 PM
-1

Sexism is dangerous though. Most extreme example is honor killings where it’s usually male family members that kill or deform a female family member for bringing ‘shame’ to their family (it can also happen to men though). In some other cultures girls are literally banished to a hut on the side of village while on their period, girls and women have died in those huts due to cold, attacks from wild animals. Or China/India where it’s mostly girl fetuses that are aborted. Now these are some extreme …

You haven’t even done that yourself and you are in a happy marriage. Why are you recommending men to follow a different route then you when your route is successful? You want to sabotage other from having relationships? And let’s be honest now, who are the type of men that ‘choose’ to go mgtow? They are usually the type of men that can’t get a girl in the first place and maybe some men that got heartbroken. Getting heartbroken is always a risk when you partake in relationships, that can also hap…

/r/AntiFeminists02/12/22 07:30 PM

I really don’t understand why you think like that. You are happily married to a woman, you maybe have a daughter even and you want men to treat women like they are only good for sex? I get that women can destroy men, but men don’t have to get married and prenups exist. It’s their own choice.
/r/AntiFeminists02/12/22 07:29 PM

So your point is that women aren’t happy because they post inspirational posts even though actual research shows otherwise? Can’t argue with like you haha.
/r/AntiFeminists02/12/22 05:54 PM

Men haven’t substituted women, be honest now. Most men at least haven’t and you know it. So many people I know are in happy loving relationships. I’m in a relationship with a lovely man, my parents have been married 25+ years. If you don’t believe in love that’s okay, but don’t assume that all men want a virtual woman instead of a real woman. And besides that, it’s literally been proven that married men are happier and live longer.
/r/AntiFeminists02/12/22 05:47 PM
-2

Are single men really that happy? Studies prove that single women are a lot happier.. an example of this is the large community of incels. I haven’t seen a female equivalent to that, please correct me if I’m wrong.

I know some states use them, but a civil state shouldn’t use them in my opinion. I’m from Europe. And lie detector tests belong in to the last century not to a modern, proper system.
/r/AntiFeminists30/11/22 05:36 PM

I believe him especially since Taylor backed down, but lie detector tests aren’t that accurate. They aren’t evidence of something. You can’t really use them to prove things. He could have been nervous and failed that test easily to.

Ahh so they have a very traditional mindset? They think men can’t be victims of rape so they don’t recognize it by law. Sounds like the traditional mindset harms both men and women. Thanks for your answer by the way! I didn’t think about it that way before.

Pretty easy to just call everything you disagree with feminist propaganda. You can’t argue with people that do that. So bye..
/r/AntiFeminists11/11/22 10:20 PM

No they sometimes are expected to do that. But every household is different. Some men do a lot in the house, some don’t. And I have read plenty of research that shows that men work less as well, if you include all work. But it’s definitely very close.
/r/AntiFeminists11/11/22 08:35 PM
2

Nothing that I just told you is the fault of man. I think a lot of men would like it if their wife didn’t have to work. But you act like it’s so easy to find a man that is wealthy. And also you don’t choose who you fall in love with. I just fell in love with a man that’s very hard working, earns a decent salary and I still have to work to afford the lifestyle we want. It’s just so expensive nowadays. I’m not gonna leave him for a different man just because the other man earns more money.
/r/AntiFeminists11/11/22 12:55 PM
0

An argument for the other side would be that women are often expected to work now as well as do (most of) the household chores. So that is a lot on their plates. It all depends on how wealthy the man is. If the man isn’t wealthy women can’t choose, they have to work.

I’m so interested to know why you think western women want a man who cheats? Because I don’t think that’s what western women want.. no one looks for a man that cheats. Maybe you refer to the fact that men that aren’t clingy or desperate are more attractive? So less available, so it’s more of a challenge. That is so something I used to find attractive in the past. And yes I understand that men also want to be respected and not taken advantage of for instance. But nowadays you can marry without sh…

Thankyou for at least admitting some of his takes are ridiculous. And I do slightly agree with the cheating part, because men and women are different. But I don’t find men that cheat desirable in any way, shape or form. Or men that want to have multiple girlfriends. I would jealous over that. Just you would get jealous if your girl had another man.

It’s so interesting that you and others keep saying that I cannot judge him over short clips. But in what way could it get better if I watch his longer videos? Is he gonna say that women aren’t property in the longer videos? Is he gonna give a context in which it’s okay to hit, choke and sa women? It’s never okay to say/do those things regardless of context. And yes you are right in that he maybe does not hate women, but his views are at the very least extremely sexist. He’s also very traditiona…

I mean that’s different. Open relationships exist, polyamerous relationships exist. If both people agree with it it’s obviously different. But it’s not okay for men to actually cheat, that’s still lying and deceitful.

Well my boyfriend of 4,5 years doesn’t cheat. And if he did I would dump him. It’s also such a misunderstanding that women always want assholes. We don’t want that. It’s the belief behind it that’s disgusting. If he want to be a pimp that’s fine. He can make a deal with women for earnings etc if women want to. But he doesn’t own their body’s. So at the end of the day, he doesn’t own anyone. No body owns anyone. Slavery is illegal. And married women aren’t property to anyone. He literally said his sister is property of the man she married.. well she isn’t. She can choose to divorce at any time. So it’s just not true and it’s a ridiculous statement.
/r/AntiFeminists11/11/22 12:29 AM

It’s such a dumb thing to post though hahaha. Y’all have some serious issues if you get mad about woman not being able to pay for groceries. It doesn’t have anything to do with feminism either.
/r/AntiFeminists11/11/22 12:24 AM

I would never defend a woman that is sexist towards men. That is disgusting that book. I’m not like you, I call my own gender out on shit. I acknowledge misandry. We are not the same. You don’t even acknowledge misogyny when it’s in your face.
/r/AntiFeminists11/11/22 12:22 AM

I want a man that could sleep with many women but chooses not to. So yes I like attractive trustworthy men. The fact that they could sleep with many women doesn’t make them assholes. It’s when they actually do it (when they cheat, lie etc.) Men also like attractive women. The types of women that could get any man (in theory). Or would you rather have a girl that no man wants?

The things he says in 20 seconds clips are still his words though and they are not defendable in any context. And I also don’t really want to listen to that man for to long haha. I just don’t agree with his sexist views.
/r/AntiFeminists11/11/22 12:13 AM
3

He was talking about beating his girl. He wasn’t talking about protecting her but okay. Did he also not flee to Romania to escape being convicted of crimes related to his webcam business? The man is shady throughout and has some sexist and toxic views. I would not defend him.. ever.
/r/AntiFeminists11/11/22 12:11 AM
-4

Who cares though..
/r/AntiFeminists11/11/22 12:09 AM
1

Some of the things he says aren’t that bad. Like as a woman it’s also important to watch your own safety like he says. But ‘women are property’ is indefensible is any context. There isn’t a single context in which that is okay. In that clip you send me you can even hear him say ‘sell my product on onlyfans’. So he truelly believes that a woman’s body is his property, his product. Fucking disgusting. Makes him sound like a pimp that abused women. And why on earth would you defend that..
/r/AntiFeminists10/11/22 11:39 PM
-3

The context doesn’t even matter. How are you gonna excuse his words like ‘women are men’s property’ or ‘slap the bitch, choke her and then force her to have sex’. There’s not a single context in which it’s okay to say those words.
/r/AntiFeminists10/11/22 11:36 PM
-2

So because feminists preach worse things, does that all of a sudden make Andrew Tate’s wordt not misogynistic? Does that excuse his words? He basically talks about women being slaves and forcing them to have sex. That is okay to you because feminism is worse? Is that your logic? Very strange..
/r/AntiFeminists10/11/22 11:30 PM
-3

It’s so funny that the most sexist men always cry the loudest about how ‘sexism against women doesn’t exist’ and that feminism is useless. Men like you are the reason feminism is still necessary. You should go back to the 50’s. I think you would like that better.
/r/AntiFeminists10/11/22 11:28 PM
-3

So because it’s ‘hard’ for men to cheat that means we should accept them and even praise them for it? Get the fuck out with that stupid logic. I’m not dating a cheating, lying piece of shit. Cheating is never an achievement. It’s garbage behavior regardless of gender.
/r/AntiFeminists10/11/22 11:26 PM

So you agree that it’s okay for men to cheat but it isn’t okay for women? And you agree with him that married women are men’s property. Because he has said these things. There’s a reason why he’s banned. And it isn’t because he supports boys, it’s because he has toxic and dangerous views on women.
/r/AntiFeminists10/11/22 07:37 PM

Andrew Tate also talks about how it’s okay to cheat for men but it isn’t okay for women. He also talks about married women being property. So yes he’s pretty misogynistic. And young boys are being influenced by his toxic views (some of his views are toxic, not all).

No I love men! Strong, honest and hard working usually. I haven’t seen you say one positive thing about women. Only hateful things. So of course I assume that you hate them. That’s just the logical thing to do.

People like you would do anything to paint women in a bad light. Almost all violent criminals are men, that doesn’t mean I don’t trust men anymore. I also don’t hate men because of a small group. I also don’t start some stupid sub just to hate on them. It’s pathetic honestly.

The friend was obviously a boy. If it was a girl you would have said something about how girls are gossiping bitches or how you can’t trust girls with secrets. And you definitely would have said it if it was a girl from the start so you had an opportunity to hate on women even more. And your whole story was about how you don’t trust women. You already made it about gender from the start. You think women are all snakes or something. Well shitty people exist in BOTH genders. But good luck with you…

Wait, so your ‘friend’ (who I assume is guy) told the whole school about your crush and it’s only women you can’t trust? Interesting.. Still it’s a pretty sad story. And those girls sound incredibly cruel. But guys can be, and have acted the same way. It’s not a gender thing.

Abortion is a medical procedure. So financial ‘abortion’ isn’t a thing. I think you mean something like opting out of al rights. So I do get what you mean. I have to agree with this. As a woman sisterhood might be things like ‘saving’ your girl from a creep at the club, making sure no one leaves the club alone etc. But of course there is also a sense of competition. You don’t want to be uglier then other girls. Because if you are uglier than average as a woman, that’s pretty shitty since a lot of your worth depends on being good looking or better looking then others. So that might make it easy for feelings of hate of jealousy towards women that are…
/r/AntiFeminists29/10/22 09:34 AM

I literally just saw a guy on this sub call men who cry about work ‘nancy’s’. And that he wouldn’t want to be friends with a person like that. I could literally tag you in that comment and you would still deny that men contribute to this. That’s how people on this sub are. Just deny any responsibility and blame everything on women. Realistically it’s both men and women that contribute to this mindset.
/r/AntiFeminists23/10/22 03:57 PM

I never denied that women do the same thing. To me it’s more of a culture that shame men for showing emotion. And yes, women definitely are attracted to strong men. I also like strong men.

It isn’t meant to be like that. But i can understand that it feels like an attack on all men. That’s why I’m not a fan of the word. Especially because it’s mostly a culture that women can also contribute to

Just like you think my comments are dumb, I think your comments are incredibly dumb. So I sometimes just can’t resist. And it should be noted that you are part of an sub group full of pretty extreme opinions. They are not exactly ‘accepted’ in the general population. And there’s probably a reason for that, just saying.
/r/AntiFeminists23/10/22 12:48 PM
2

I can’t really say there is anything wrong with that. Like, you decide who to be friends with. And having the right to an own opinion is very important to me. It is funny though that you call them Nancy’s. If you think to many people that is the definition of toxic masculinity.
/r/AntiFeminists23/10/22 12:45 PM

I’m honestly surprised I haven’t been banned yet. But that’s pretty open minded from this sub. Some other subs are a lot less welcoming to other opinions.
/r/AntiFeminists23/10/22 12:39 PM
0

Some people would consider that believe you have right there to be toxic masculinity. Because you are deciding for other men what is and isn’t okay. But then again, it also is your personal opinion and that’s okay. So if you don’t bully other men for crying, then you are all good.
/r/AntiFeminists23/10/22 12:19 PM
-13

Toxic masculinity doesn’t mean that all masculinity is toxic. Masculinity is usually a beautiful thing. The problem is that you think it is an attack on all men. It isn’t, so if it isn’t about you then there is no reason to feel attacked.
/r/AntiFeminists23/10/22 12:17 PM
-12

Are you trying to prove something with anecdotal stuff from your childhood? Because that doesn’t prove anything. It is toxic masculinity when other men shame men for not being masculine. But women can also shame men for this. And it often happens together with the toxic masculinity. It’s basically a culture, so of course both genders play a part.
/r/AntiFeminists23/10/22 11:19 AM

Masculinity is a good thing. But toxic masculinity isn’t. It’s basically a culture in which men decide that only one type of man is a real man. And men that fall outside that spectrum are shamed. They are for instance call weak or a pussy for showing emotion. But women can also play part in this culture. If they raise their sons to hide emotions for instance.
/r/AntiFeminists23/10/22 11:13 AM

Nope, that is not considered toxic at all. Toxic masculinity is a culture in which men shame other men for showing emotions for instance. So when men ‘behave’ weak in their eyes, they are called a pussy. They are shamed for it basically.
/r/AntiFeminists23/10/22 11:08 AM

To me toxic masculinity is men that bully other men for crying, showing vulnerability etc. For instance saying stuff to their sons like: don’t cry like a girl, you are a pussy etc.

Are we talking about the same country here? I am talking about Iran. A country that has been oppressive towards women for 40 years now. Of course they aren’t to blame. All blame is on men.
/r/AntiFeminists20/10/22 04:58 PM

Do you think I did the counting myself dummy? It’s a study that has counted all work from both genders. So it also includes men’s unpaid work.
/r/AntiFeminists20/10/22 04:56 PM

I already sent him a study in another comment and his reaction was: I don’t take feminist studies seriously. Do anything he doesn’t agree with, he just says it’s a feminist study. Of course I’m not gonna bother.
/r/AntiFeminists20/10/22 04:49 PM

Don’t men raise kids? Don’t men do any parenting? Men are literally seen as the head of the house so they have most of the say in those countries. So yes, men can be blamed.
/r/AntiFeminists20/10/22 04:47 PM

I agree with that, but they are men. So these men are to blame.

Some things are just facts though. You can’t deny that the leaders of Iran are men. The leaders are letting this happen and causing this violence against their own people. I have heard about men dying to. I think many people know about it
/r/AntiFeminists20/10/22 03:48 PM

That last paragraph is exactly my point. Why do men like you always want to blame every bad thing men do on women? When a man is a criminal, it’s his mother’s fault. But when men invent things and build houses all of sudden that is only because of great men are and women have nothing to do with it. Pick one please. And another point: these protests have been all over the news. But I guess violence against women is a bit more shocking for most people.
/r/AntiFeminists20/10/22 03:34 PM

Please explain to me how women are the cause of the death of these young men (and women)? It seems like you wanted to blame it women.

These men were killed by other men.
/r/AntiFeminists20/10/22 03:20 PM

Why are women always at fault for everything in the eyes of people on this sub? These men are killed by other men. Men have a free will you know. They can decide they want to fight a regime. Just like the oppressors in that regime can decide to kill protesters. I don’t see how women are at fault for this.
/r/AntiFeminists20/10/22 03:17 PM
2

I also see no reason? I don’t think any good person sees a reason to throw men’s lives away. But it is a fact that the people in Iran live under an oppressive regime. And these boys have chosen to protest and fight that regime by themselves. You should not judge them for having a good heart. In the end they were killed by police forces of Iran. They weren’t killed by feminists or women. Women in Iran are not even allowed to be police forces. So I don’t really see what has to with equality betwee…

I have personally seen a lot of footage of men protesting with women. I might have even seen more men at front fighting and more women with signs etc. So many people know that both men and women are fighting for women’s rights.

So everything you don’t agree with is biased and untrue? How easy for you..
/r/AntiFeminists20/10/22 10:58 AM

You seriously need a reality check. Women actually perform more work then men in total. If you count unpaid work. But you probably don’t consider that to be important work? God you are so misogynistic, it’s insane at this point. Just gross. You are the type of man to be like: ‘men are better, they are the inventors of everything and women are useless. But sexism against women doesn’t exist you dumb feminist, you are making stuff up!!!’
/r/AntiFeminists20/10/22 10:54 AM

So most men and women prefer male leaders but it’s only women that hold other women back? How does that work? There are also tons of study that have the opposite outcome of what you just said.. many people actually prefer female bosses.

Career wise I am talking about the fact that men are taken seriously more often in a leadership role and more often considered for roles like that. It’s harder to be authoritative as a woman. Men just naturally have more authority. There are a lot of other good things that naturally come to being a man.
/r/AntiFeminists20/10/22 10:24 AM

Biologically speaking men have so many advantages. And y’all don’t even realize how much of a blessing that is. There are other privileges, mainly career wise but I’m not getting into that right now.

Very interesting. Just have one question. You assume that people only kill their partner because they feel threatened. What about people that are abusers and kill their partners in the process? Maybe the men killing their partners are also the abusers?

It’s pretty obvious that men don’t have all privileges that feminists claim they have. Lots of mental health issues, forced circumcision etc. But women weren’t even allowed in most militaire branches until 2016 in the US and we have to feel about men being killed more often then women? It’s extremely sad, but it has nothing to do with women.. Also, don’t men choose to work in dangerous work areas? If Pay gap is a myth.. Because women choose lower paying proffesions themselves. These men are really brave for fighting against an oppressive regime. That should be said. But they chose to fight an oppressive regime themselves. That doesn’t all of a sudden mean that only men are oppressed. Or that only men are victims. Women are oppressed by law a lot more then men are in Iran. Millions of women there are forced to wear hijab’s for instance. Men aren’t.

/r/MensRights20/10/22 08:30 AM

The article only uses female as an adjective, they don’t use it describe a whole human person. That is correct. They way you did it isn’t. But it seems like you don’t understand the difference or the English language in general so this is kind of pointless.
/r/MensRights20/10/22 08:19 AM
-4

That’s not how it was written in the study though. So maybe look at the article again and then you’ll see the correct way. The title literally says: WOMEN are more critical of FEMALE toplessness.
/r/MensRights20/10/22 08:05 AM
-9

It is wrong though. Females and males refers to animals. You can also use it as an adjective. So you can say: female nurse or male nurse. But female or male used on it’s own to describe a human being is incorrect. It kind of comes across like you view that group as animals. So people do take offense when you say it like that. Especially when you say: females and men. But since English isn’t your first language, you obviously didn’t do it on purpose. But just wanted to let you know that it is ind…

Wait so feminists don’t exist?
/r/AntiFeminists20/10/22 07:48 AM

Maybe because they actually love the women around them? The fact that you can’t even grasp the basic principle of doing something for a group that isn’t you says a lot. You would only fight for issues that hurt you. That’s okay to, but don’t assume that other people are like you. Some men actually love women and want them to not be oppressed.
/r/AntiFeminists20/10/22 07:36 AM
-2

Because they are fighting for women’s rights. The protests are a reaction to a woman being killed for not wearing her hijab correct. That’s why it’s called that. And honestly these men are angels for fighting for women’s rights. The same cannot be said about the people on this sub.

No he does not. Stop living in a fairytale land. Just because an extremely small group of feminists say that that is rape doesn’t mean society lives by that. Almost no one thinks that that is rape. Male gaze is the way that men view women and the things they find sexy. How they like to see women. It doesn’t mean that every time a man stares it’s rape, don’t be dumb.
/r/AntiFeminists17/10/22 01:29 PM

How many men have been called a rapist for flirting with someone? The numbers are so so small that it’s more a phobia then an actual fear. At least, I haven’t heard about it. Fake accusations exist, that means she would be lying. She would be making up that you raped her, she would not say: you flirted with me and that’s rape. I never heard anyone say that. You can be called creepy or annoying for sure. But rape has nothing to do with flirting.

What part about the second sentence don’t you understand? See: Their decisions are more like married men's, and never-married men's decisions are more like women's in general (careers in arts, no weekend work, etc.)’. Never married men make other decisions. It’s literally in the article. I understand that it is written a little unclear. But it literally says it haha. Or what do you think that sentence means? It literally says: never/married men make other career choices. Jesus you are dumb.

Read again. The comparison doesn’t control for choice of field. Also, the author is a famous men’s rights activist. So his article is very very coloured to only see the problems men have. Not to say he does have some good point, but some other points are just very simplified. Like saying most people that died in Iraq were men. But completely brushing over the fact that women weren’t even allowed in certain military branches until 2016 (the most dangerous ground forces for instance) And this arti…

That 17% is not taken into account, education, worked hours, type of job. The same arguments that you always use to debunk the pay gap. Those arguments also work on this. God you are dumb.
/r/MensRights05/10/22 07:55 AM

Women earn a lot less in general. Even when you take working time etc into account men still earn around 2% more. Women aren’t prettier then men, you are just straight.
/r/MensRights05/10/22 07:29 AM

Men can’t be pretty? I think plenty of men are very pretty actually.
/r/MensRights05/10/22 07:21 AM

So what is the difference then? Is it not because childless women on average value their career’s a lot more then women that choose children? I mean it’s just not smart for a career women to have kids. So it makes sense that they earn a lot of money. It’s also usually highly educated women that choose to not have kids or get married. So if you compare that with every man (also men that are uneducated, have simple jobs), then of course the educated unmarried women earn a lot more in average.

Yes, my god these people are so dumb.
/r/MensRights05/10/22 06:49 AM

Does the article state why that is? Maybe they are just better? Like, I know female engineers are pretty rare. So maybe they are just very good very good at their jobs?
/r/MensRights05/10/22 06:48 AM
1

But women earn less in general? So I’m not saying it doesn’t happen. But it’s not something that happens most jobs. Maybe a few jobs like engineering, scientist etc. But even then, do you have any prove that they pay women more just because they are women?
/r/MensRights05/10/22 06:46 AM

Pay gap isn’t real.. why would they pay women 18% more? Wouldn’t they just hire only men in that case because that is cheaper?

I thought pay gap was a myth? But now that some women earn more, it suddenly is real? Wtf, choose please.

‘I feel like’, stop feeling. It’s just not true. Appearance matters, but we aren’t looking for the top 1% good looking men. Lots of average and ugly men are married and have good relationships. Women aren’t designed to search for good looks. we are designed to find a men that’s gonna help us survive. Which means things like confidence are very important. Maybe even more important then looks.

You are hyper hyper focused on appearance it seems. But women aren’t as appearance focused as men are. And even if they were, you don’t need to look perfect. You don’t need a huge d. Average d is perfect because most girls would be into that. Big d can hurt a lot (I’m a girl). Also, plenty of average looking guys have meaningful relationships. Casual hookups are harder for average men. But meaningful relationships could be easier because it’s not only about looks. And women tend to find personal…

I can’t dictate what you are scared of. If you are afraid of women for that reason, then you should avoid them. However I’m not scared of men in my life. Just strange men that I see on the street when I’m alone. Usually men that look like criminals, but not most men.
/r/MensRights14/09/22 07:25 AM
-2

Definitely not oppressed in the general sense. Some areas could be improved for sure though. But I wouldn’t call that oppression. Men are able to travel, work, have their own homes etc. Women in certain countries today still cannot travel with a men as their escort. Or they can’t go to school because they are women. That’s real oppression.
/r/MensRights14/09/22 07:23 AM

You got it wrong. Being oppressed doesn’t equal a bad life. It’s not the same thing at all. You could be oppressed and live in a castle and be extremely rich and have servants. For instance if you cannot decide anything for yourself, if you can’t get away. Being oppressed is not having the same freedoms and rights as people around you. And that’s what happened with women in the west. There’s evidence that they did not have the same rights as men. Not being allowed to work as a married women, not…

As a woman, idgaf if that’s sexist or misandrist. If I see someone and I’m alone at night and they look threatening I’m gonna watch out. My personal safety comes first. Basically every man in the street could harm me if they wanted to. So I’m very cautious. But not every man is a threat to me. Well dressed men for instance usually don’t seem like a threat. Fgm sometimes removes everything without any anesthesia. Afterwards they sow everything back together to a tiny hole. The hole will be opened once she has sex for the first time. Yes you can have an opinion. But it’s not that smart to form an opinion based on your personal experience with girlfriends unless you have had millions of girlfriends of course.. you should look at data. I mean I personally know more men that have gotten accidents. But my personally experience doesn’t prove anything. But yes truck drivers are mostly male, so that surely is an interesting point.
/r/MensRights11/09/22 12:04 PM

Honestly I was just going to disprove the comments from the original commenter. This person said: all my girlfriends have had accidents and I haven’t like that proves anything haha. So I just had to come with the data that says that it’s actually men that cause way more (deadly) accidents. But it’s good that you don’t feel personally attacked about it.
/r/MensRights11/09/22 09:53 AM

It is proven that men take more risks during driving and cause deadlier accidents. Just like it’s proven that women cause more small accidents like scraping a car along a parking pile or whatever. It’s just facts sorry.

What does suicide have to do with this? I thought we were talking about car crashes. And yes those statistics are the reason I said that men cause more deadly accidents. They also drive more. But even taking that into account, they cause more deadly accidents. And they also die in them themselves.
/r/MensRights10/09/22 07:32 PM

Isn’t that a pretty sexist thing to say? Like what do you think happens when everyone thinks that way? Women wouldn’t be able to get promotions, wouldn’t be able to become president. And that comes pretty close to patriarchy.

What about poor women that can’t afford flights? It’s the most vulnerable people that won’t be able to get abortions now. And the fact that you think that’s okay is disgusting. You can be a mra and still care about women.
/r/MensRights06/09/22 03:24 PM

Well personally, it’s an aspect of patriarchy. Have all the presidents been men? Then that could be sign a of patriarchy. But it’s one of hundreds of metrics/aspects. You cannot conclude something based on just that. You need so much more information.

/r/MensRights01/09/22 07:04 PM

You don’t understand the difference between sexy/attracties to and sexual organs? God you are dumb. Women are literally allowed to go topless on every beach in Europe. It’s also legal to breastfeed in public. So you are wrong about that.
/r/MensRights01/09/22 07:02 PM

What do you even mean by sexual? Does that mean you find them sexy or that they are sexual organs? Just because you are attracted to my beautiful boobs doesn’t mean that they are sexual. They’re literally lumps of fat and milk meant to feed babies. That’s their biological purpose.
/r/MensRights01/09/22 06:58 PM

No sucking on boobs is not weird if you like them and if both people want it to. Nothing wrong with that. Some people like sucking toes or other body parts and they get turned on by it. Does that mean that toes/feet are sexual? Nope. There is a reason that being topless is legal. It’s because it’s not a sexual organ. Only vagina and dick are illegal to show in public. Because those ARE sexual organs. Boobs aren’t. Also if you hate women having freedom that much please just go away to Saudi Arabi…
/r/MensRights01/09/22 06:51 PM

So having an ass out makes it sexual? What even is that logic.
/r/MensRights01/09/22 06:41 PM

I’m not gonna help some random stranger if I’m alone. I’m just not taking that risk. But it obviously depends on the situation. I’m not saying that men are never assaulted or anything like that. Because they clearly are.

Yes statistics maybe.. but look at media and surroundings. Who do you think is told more often to be careful? Who do you think is more scared at night alone? Women are conditioned to be careful and sceptic of random strangers. Edit: it’s also that if we were to get in any trouble we are not as able to defend ourselves as a random man would be able to. Most strange men could outrun me, are stronger etc. Even though I go to the gym 4x a week.

Aren’t women usually a bit more careful to help random strangers? I mean I’m always told to be careful around strangers. I feel like men should to the same because you never know someone’s true intentions. At least in my opinion you can’t conclude that women are less empathetic because we don’t help strangers. We’re literally always told to stay away from men we don’t know. And if we don’t it’s our own fault that we got killed, raped etc. These things can also happen to men, but men often feel m…

This is not what the post implies. This post is a reaction to men that say only women have emotions or that women are to emotional to S presidents etc. When men have just as much or even more anger then women. So they’ve rebranded anger as ‘not an emotion’. When anger is one of the strongest emotions there is.
/r/MensRights31/08/22 07:39 AM

Why is this hateful though? Isn’t anger an emotion that men have?
/r/MensRights31/08/22 07:34 AM

This is just a reaction to men saying that women are to emotional to be a president. Like, I personally know that men have other emotions besides anger. But it’s interesting that some men don’t view anger as an emotion, are often really angry themselves and then say that only women have emotions. Like no, men have emotions and anger is one of them.

The idea that women aren’t strong enough or brave enough to fight a war is sexist in MY OPINION. The draft itself is very sexist towards men. You seem to have the strange belief that your opinion is a fact, but it isn’t.
/r/AntiFeminists28/08/22 07:58 AM

Yess because women were seen as to weak, fragile to fight a war. That idea is sexist in my opinion. So the draft for only men was born out is sexist ideas. And to add, something can be both sexist towards men and women but still be a lot worse for men. And that’s the case with the draft in my opinion. Same goes for things like custody rights , child support etc. That doesn’t favor towards men and is my opinion also born from sexist ideas. Now you are not gonna agree with me and that’s totally fi…

I said it was born out of sexist ideas. Learn to read. The draft itself is very sexist towards men and a terrible injustice towards men and their families. But mostly towards men that were forced to die or forced to be in horrible situations that result in ptsd.
/r/AntiFeminists28/08/22 06:42 AM
1

So while it is a fact that men on average are stronger I still don’t believe no women could play a part in war. There are women out there that are stronger and more brave then some men. Not all women are ‘to weak’ to fight a war is my point. There’s also different positions that don’t require as much strength. So excluding all women based on gender is sexist in my opinion. That other point is a great point.
/r/AntiFeminists28/08/22 06:27 AM
2

What do you think the reason is that they only drafted men is then? Let’s be honest here men are stronger, faster and thus more equipped to fight a war. While women were seen as weak, not suited to fight a war. In my opinion that is sexist towards women, but forcing men to fight in a war is a lot worse of course. Because forcing people to die, forcing people to go though that mentally is f*cked.
/r/AntiFeminists28/08/22 05:27 AM

You do have a point here! My only question with this though is that marriage during WW1 and WW2 was very traditional. And it wasn’t like men would marry multiple wives right? So a lot of men died which just meant a lot of widows and a lot more single woman. It wasn’t like they were impregnated by the men that remained right?
/r/AntiFeminists28/08/22 05:23 AM
-8

Well the draft for men only is born out of sexism towards women. The belief that women are to weak to fight, meant to stay at home etc. But men definitely got the short end of the stick there. And because it’s only men being forced to fight and maybe even die, that in itself is sexism towards men. This is coming from a feminist.

The comment I was originally responding to? Also many other men that compare women to key holes just to justify slut-shaming women. So fk dumb.
/r/MensRights26/08/22 12:36 PM

Yes exactly it all depends on context and that’s why you can’t compare humans with inanimate objects! Hence why I said it’s not a valid argument. Like, you can do it, but it won’t get any point across because every human being is different. Believe it or not but many men do prefer experience in women, at least to some degree. And others don’t.

What haha, why are you so angry and concerned about my personal life? So weird all the assumptions. I’m 25 and have been in a serious relationship for 4,5 years. But I have in the past dated a little bit and I did learned a lot from it.
/r/MensRights26/08/22 06:13 AM

Calling someone a donkey is not the same as trying to make an argument about all women while comparing them to cars. Comparing people to cars is weird and doesn’t prove anything because everyone is different, we have emotions, goals etc. A car is just a car. Let me explain, a new car is always better because it is worth more and has no faults. A virgin isn’t always better because some men like expierence and others don’t. It’s because we’re humans and everyone has their own preferences.
/r/MensRights26/08/22 06:08 AM

I don’t think we should compare human beings to cars, key holes at all. It’s just really dumb. Comparing women to car’s is also just a very bad look. We aren’t cars that you can buy and show off. We’re humans like you with goals etc.

Isn’t the point of marriage to marry the love of your life? How are you supposed to do that without even dating a little? In my opinion dating, exploring is good because it makes you realize what you want in a partner. I’d rather not be stuck in a miserable marriage, but maybe that’s just me.
/r/MensRights25/08/22 10:09 PM

That’s a lot of claims without any source.. please stop spreading misinformation. People that marry as virgins are usually religious. Religious people often don’t even approve divorce. So if that’s your reasoning, then you are wrong.

So you think it’s okay that women were fired from jobs just because they got married? You think it’s okay they couldn’t do the job that they loved? Sometimes even widowed women weren’t allowed to work because they were believed to still be married. It was that bad. So yes they could get in serious financial issues because of it. Protected and oppressed are more closely related then one would assume at first. You can claim to protect someone by forbidding them go outside alone. It’s also kind of oppressive at the same time. Just look at Muslim countries. Women are sometimes oppressed in the name or ‘protection’. And yes some men were oppressive in the past because they COULD be, men were literally allowed to make all decisions, to rape within marriage etc. Not all men abused that, but some sure did.

I personally wouldn’t say it’s completely untrue that we aren’t taken as seriously. For instance women and authority. Women do have a harder time being taken seriously as a boss. So why exactly can’t women compete with men? There’s a reason for it, and it’s called biology. So it does have to do with gender. In an ideal we would all have the same opportunities, but I know that’s not realistic.

It was never my point to have women earn equal money or something. I mean what money are we supposed to give them and where from. So I never said that, so learn how to read next time. I’m just discussing my thoughts on it. In a way it is very fcked up to me that women don’t have the chances that men do in sports. Simply because of their gender. And we don’t have a chance to ever close that gap due to biology. I can’t say I find that fcked up at it’s core?
/r/MensRights20/08/22 07:23 AM
1

I honestly do get it, like you want to watch the best of the best and sadly that just ain’t women. So they don’t have the profits, sponsorships etc. But that doesn’t make it fair necessarily. Women could put in the same work and never get the same money, praise etc for it simply because we will never be as strong etc. But is is the way it is I guess. Not much we can do about it. Doesn’t mean I sometimes don’t feel sad about it.
/r/MensRights20/08/22 07:09 AM

You just said it, women aren’t as good therefor have no chance to ever even become as talented as man. How are we supposed to compete if we are less strong, less fast etc? Your argument is also very stupid. Women aren’t 100x less good than men, it’s maybe 30% but male football players earns at least 2000% more money. It’s not about talent here, it’s about profits. So I get it. But all I’m saying is that it’s kind of fcked up, imagine being the best female player in the world, you just know that …
/r/MensRights20/08/22 07:03 AM

Wtf are you on about? Why are you comparing men and women? There’s a reason that we don’t compete eachother so comparing them makes no sense. Of course men are a lot stronger etc, but that’s not my point here. Having men and women compete eachother is not fair to women. Doing that would eliminate 100% of women straight away. And no, we don’t have an advantage you pos when female athletes don’t even have the change to accomplish the same that men do simply for the gender they were born.
/r/MensRights20/08/22 06:57 AM
-6

How many women do you think there are in the top 100 best payed athletes? It’s 2 women out of 100. And yes Selena is in the list and Osaka, both tennis players. But other sports women don’t come even close to men. That’s how much the funding and profits in women’s sports are behind. It’s kind of sad honestly. Hopefully it will improve naturally over time, but we do need investors and support from people from it.
/r/MensRights19/08/22 11:30 PM
-2

It’s just sad that it works like this. Sad that it means women’s sports are always gonna fall behind in terms of professionalism. And that’s of course gonna cause the level to fall behind on men’s as well. And not to forget the biological aspect of it. Women don’t really stand a change to ever turn it around without having some funding from men’s sports. Like how is a sport able to grow if we’re not willing to invest in it? Without giving it a chance it will never be big.
/r/MensRights19/08/22 11:26 PM
-2

That was never my point. We can’t create money out of thin air that isn’t there. Just like we’re not gonna have male models earn more money than female models either. Even though you can’t really say that one is worse than the other, it’s just different. But still you can’t deny that it’s sort of unfair at it’s core. Being a man and being good at sports is gonna give to 1000x the opportunities that women have. While as women if you want to earn a lot you have to be really pretty or a prn star. I…

Yes, that wasn’t my point. I’m talking about averages here. Men get in more accidents, and more deadly/severe accidents. That is caused by more risky driving on average but also by driving more kilometers. That doesn’t mean that all men drive risky or that all accidents are caused by dangerous driving. Sometimes bad luck or circumstances cause these things.. but that is basic knowledge. I should not have to be disclaiming these things constantly.
/r/MensRights18/08/22 08:27 AM

I totally believe that. I even think men could be better at driving cars in general if they weren’t taking more risks than women. It’s just the dangerous behavior that causes the accidents.
/r/MensRights18/08/22 06:13 AM

True, but that doesn’t completely eradicate the difference. It’s also proven that men are more likely to engage in risky driving practices. So it makes sense that they cause more deadly accidents. https://www.iihs.org/topics/fatality-statistics/detail/males-and-females

Are you guys seriously mad that women and girls who can’t afford it are getting the products for free now? That’s fucking messed up. Y’all don’t even realize how privileged you are to never have to go through period poverty. To be scared every time that an accident is gonna happen to even having to skip school because of it.
/r/AntiFeminists17/08/22 05:11 PM
2

Yes I know. What I mean is that being able to afford proper products isn’t a privilege. Some women or kids can’t afford it, so I think they should receive it. And that should not be looked at as a privilege. Many girls in Africa for instance skip school when they have their periods because they don’t have products to help them. It causes a lot of stress, embarrassment, and they fall behind on boys and students that can afford the products.

Women are sometimes also secretly discriminated against. Especially women of child bearing age can deal with this. Not being hired because you might get pregnant is pretty common. Also men being discriminated against in profession that for example have to do with children. Those are all forms of unseen discrimination. That active discrimination is actually discussed though. But a pretty large part of the population sees it as a positive thing. So yeah that’s a difficult one to discuss.

My statement was backed up by actual numbers. In most divorce cases the assets are split 50/50. But it’s a myth that men are poorer after divorce. They actually get richer after divorce. Especially in terms of earning power they usually are 40% richer after divorce. They might ‘lose’ some assets, but knew what marriage without prenup meant. Also, the man and women have built these assets together. So they aren’t 100% his to lose, especially if the women also works. Women get poorer after divorce…

No because I already said that this story is extremely sad and should be looked into. But, you can’t use it to make a general statement. Let me explain. All it does is prove that this certain individual got f*cked over by the courtsystem. To prove something about the general population, you would need numbers and statistics.

You said something about the claws of feminism hadn’t infiltrated in Nigeria. Like the fact that women in Nigeria not having safe spaces/only men have places is a good thing or something to be celebrated. At least that is what your comment implies.

I know, homeless people are one of the most vulnerable groups there is. But let’s not pretend like gender doesn’t exist. Being a woman on the street is more dangerous in terms of sexual assault. But for men it’s also really dangerous. I just don’t like denying the difference there is between genders, that doesn’t help.
/r/MensRights09/08/22 08:43 PM

Yes very true. It’s truelly scary in general. But being a minority makes you even more vulnerable and female homeless people are a minority.

There is not a market for male only gyms tho. They have existed and failed. About those country clubs and golf clubs. I honestly don’t know how to feel about it. Male only country clubs I get, the whole purpose of that is to be with other men and socialize. But golf clubs is a little more difficult, because traditionally it was a sport for men, and many acres of grass are needed. Not allowing women, usually means that women aren’t able to play golf at all, because most cities don’t want multiple…

There are male shelters. They are called regular homeless shelters.
/r/MensRights09/08/22 05:15 PM

Jeez.. I wonder why that is. Would you feel safe as women if you were outnumbered by 1 to 10. And besides that, normal homeless shelters are almost all men already. So no need to call it men’s only.

You realize that there are men only places to right? Think about country clubs, golf clubs. If there’s a market for it, then it probably exists. There not really a market for men only gyms and clubs though. And that’s why they don’t exist. They have tried men only gyms, but it wasn’t a succes.

Depends on the context. Am I a rich? Or poor? Do I have help with raising kids or not? Do I have a husband who earns money? So many unknowns. But If I could choose between rich stay at home mom and rich fulltime working then I would pick stay at home. But life doesn’t work like that, you would have to find a rich husband for that to work. Also, I like having a say in finances and being a stay at home mom is pretty vulnerable if you have no back up. So I would want to be married, because otherwis…

That’s very true. I’m just a random person on the internet. But you agree with the OP and disagree with me right? What is that based on if you don’t have numbers and don’t believe any research in this area? And what makes you believe that house hold duties are on average 50/50 between men/women. Isn’t it a little naive to just assume that?

Wow that’s such a good argument. We are totally not in a men’s rights sub.. of course I’m gonna get downvotes for my views here. Edit: but really nice of you to actually acknowledge that there are many female inventors. And you found that out all by yourself :)

Of course I would choose working parttime over working fulltime and being a mother at the same time. I want to be present for my kids. But right now I’m perfectly fine with working 40 hours since I don’t have kids. Most men would choose parttime if they could. What’s the truth?

In the Netherlands plenty of couples both work 4 days. It’s possible here, but not sure about where you are from. It’s also usually a mutual decision. Don’t act like men have zero power in this. They usually agree if the women wants to work parttime or not at all right?

I literally just told you what my ‘own people are saying’. Can you read or what’s wrong with you? Most moms I know like working parttime, because they like the break between being mothers and being at work, earning money. Where I’m from mothers usually don’t work fulltime, but being a stay at home mom is a lot more rare. Most like working parttime.

You linked me something about women saying something took 20% longer than it actually did. The research concluded that women spend 54% more time on household duties than men.. so taking into account that link you send me.. my point still stands.

Exactly, we should be appreciative. But that should count for both sides. I just really hate this narrative that women ‘steal’ the money from the man after a divorce. That’s just not true. You build something together during marriage. And yes maybe the man earned a little more, but the woman doesn’t just take half of what the man has. She contributed a lot to it herself. She probably even worked for money herself. And even if she didn’t. In a marriage you both agreed to something. If you don’t l…

I knew it was useless to come here with actual numbers. It get’s discredited every single fucking time. It’s either funded by feminists, not the preferred investigations method etc. In reality, you just don’t like what the study says and that’s why try to discredit it. Would you still discredit it if it said something you liked? Also, every single fucking study shows that women do more housework, yet you are still in denial and trying desperately to discredit things. And for what? You want to be…

Okay so there are many studies on this. First study I found show that women spend 50% or 2 hours a day more on household duties. https://iwpr.org/media/press-hits/women-do-2-more-hours-of-housework-daily-than-men/ Do you really think men spend 2 hours a day on scooping up snow and maintaining WiFi? Really, your whole argument is based of your personal experience? Also why would it matter if your wife likes to take care of the kids and do the house work? Does that devalue what she does? She still deserves money that you built together if you were to divorce one day. Because you created that together. Also, arguing about what people like and don’t like is not relevant to my argument at all. Duties are duties, no matter how much you love them. If a women spends 60 hours a week on house an chi…
/r/MensRights07/08/22 06:05 PM
-17

Nope, there are studies that have taken into account everything and that still shows that women usually do more of household duties. It makes sense to because women usually work less, so obviously they on average do more work within the house. Do you really think that a man who works fulltime does as much housework as a woman that doesn’t work or works parttime? Not saying that women never work fulltime or that men never work parttime. But on average women work less in their jobs.
/r/MensRights07/08/22 05:20 PM

Women usually don’t receive half the stuff of them man. Everything is thrown on a big like and she will receive 50% of that if you didn’t have a prenup. Now that is if you assume the woman doesn’t work, hasn’t benefitted anything herself to the finances and hasn’t done any other meaningful work. Women often have a lot more of the household duties, and that’s worth something as well. There’s also prenups that can easily prevent having to lose any money at all. Also, women’s shelters are for women…

That’s also true. But I actually read that when men do fight for custody, their chances are a lot bigger than 20%. But that could also be because they only fight in cases in which they have a ‘real case’ so to speak. Very complex topic..
/r/MensRights06/08/22 07:56 PM

How many men actually want custody vs how many women want it? Because that’s pretty important and I feel like you can’t make a real argument without that knowledge.

Do you think most men don’t want love and affection? Do you truelly believe most men would be happy to spend their life alone while watching porn? I personally don’t believe that. I’m just saying, it would become impossible or much harder to play proper golf for women if lot’s of golf clubs took that approach. It’s obvious that you don’t care about that.. but it is a legit argument. Women’s only gyms or lessons aren’t gonna stop men from going to the gym. It doesn’t hinder men.
/r/MensRights05/08/22 08:00 PM
-16

Only 24% of golf players are women. It would be so much harder to financially be able to pay for a women only club. Just because there aren’t many players. Also, usually towns only have place for 1 gold course because it’s takes so much space. So this isn’t really a good argument in my opinion. Men only clubs would probably mean that women can’t play golf at all or are stuck at places that are way smaller and less looked after.
/r/MensRights05/08/22 05:46 PM
1

As a woman why should I conform to a designated role or place? I mean, I kind of like the idea of being traditional, but why should I? There’s not law that says that, it’s simply an opinion about how women should live. People should decide for themselves what role they want.

Why do people want sons then and not daughters? Don’t people want things that they seem more valuable to have? Haha, stop playing the racist card please. That’s not an argument. /r/MensRights31/07/22 07:15 PM

Well you denied some of the things OP said. For instance the fact that in India and China many female babies are aborted so much that there is now a shortage of women. This brings many other problems like women from poorer countries being kidnapped or sold to single men.
/r/MensRights31/07/22 07:14 PM

Haha nope I mean it. We need more people like you. Denying that women are also hurt in other ways just makes mra look bad.
/r/MensRights31/07/22 06:41 PM

Yes, women are seen as less valuable. In some villages in India there are 1000 men to every 700 girls because all girls get aborted. It’s also pretty bad in China. They literally have to kidnap and buy brides from poor countries so their sons can still get married. It’s a real problem.
/r/MensRights31/07/22 06:37 PM

You are proving the exact point that OP is trying to make. You can fight for men’s rights and not deny that women’s rights are still not good in some countries.

It is your choice to decide what to do with your body. Duh.. You can’t be forced to donate blood to save a baby even if you were the only person on earth who could save it.
/r/MensRights28/07/22 08:43 PM
1

Doesn’t matter what the reason is, it is based on the right to autonomy over your own body. You can’t be forced to donate blood to safe a life either. Even if you refused out of convenience.
/r/MensRights28/07/22 08:41 PM
1

Well I never said that wasn’t fucked up. That’s totally against the bodily autonomy of those men
/r/MensRights28/07/22 08:39 PM

Ok, but that term totally misses the point. Actual abortion is about bodily autonomy, financial abortion has nothing to do with bodily autonomy. Just the right to choose to be/not be a parent. It’s not the same and hence will not be treated the same
/r/MensRights28/07/22 08:38 PM

The right to abortion is based on the right to bodily autonomy. It has nothing to do with women having the right to choose to become parents. That’s just a by product.
/r/MensRights28/07/22 03:54 PM
-3

Very untrue. You can have an opinion on anything. Just don’t force it on other people. Women shouldn’t force their pro life opinion on other women either. Really simple.

Abortion is a medical procedure. Paper abortion doesn’t exist. You just mean releasing fathers of all financial and other responsibilities regarding the child.
/r/MensRights28/07/22 03:47 PM

Abortion is not about opting out of parenthood, it’s about body autonomy. That’s what the right is based on, not on the choice to be a parent or not. If if was based on the right to be or not to be a parent then men would have had that choice.
/r/MensRights28/07/22 03:45 PM

You know what the no uterus no opinion is about? It’s about men and women that try to make rules about other women’s uteruses. It means, my uterus my choice basically. You can still have an opinion on the matter, but please don’t force your opinion on other people’s body. Same goes for women that try to make rules about other women’s bodies. Same should go for men and women who have their baby boys circumcised. It’s not their body so they should not be able to make that choice.

71% of men aged 25-44 have been married at least once though. And virginity in men is a lot closer to 20% than it is to 80%. It’s about 30% at 25. So your numbers are not accurate at all. Research has been done about that so it’s a fact at this point. Stop denying things because they don’t fit your narrative. Sorry it’s not always men that are the victims even though you seem to like that.

I always will respond to people that spread misinformation. The original comment said that women can always get an abortion or that it’s always available to them, but that’s just not true. And they should know that especially after Roe vs Wade. Also being forced to give birth is not the same as being forced to be financially responsible for 18 years. They are not based on the same right so to speak and that’s why differences can occur. People having a right to their own body vs people having fin…

It’s illegal but that’s not the same as it doesn’t exist anymore. Do you think drugs and violence don’t exist anymore? They are illegal yet everyone knows it’s still exists.

That is true. It doesn’t really exist in western culture, but it does exist in western society.

Personally what that statement in my opinion means is: ‘my uterus my choice’. Because there plenty of women that are against abortion. And only the person with the uterus can decide to get it. Same goes for men. They can only decide for themselves if they want to be circumcised. Or at least that would be best.

As a woman I’m definitely against menstrual leave. For multiple reasons. The first being that most women don’t need it and if they did they would need like 2 extra hours of sleep and some pain meds. Second being that I would not like the anger and hate towards women that this would probably cause. I mean we are already seen as the weaker gender. And this would probably worsen that. And of course that employers would not hire women as often anymore. I do hope that the women who do struggle with i…

Do you have anger issues in real life to or just online? Because I just pointed out that your comment was not true. Not a reason to get so mad.. And also girls are still being circumcised against their will in western society even though it’s illegal. Can’t really be compared to the numbers in which boys are circumcised in the west at least, but it still does happen.

Since you are talking about ‘the world’, there are still millions girls getting mutilated every year.. America isn’t the world Edit: to the people downvoting me for stating a fact, do you disagree (which you technically can’t) or do you just dislike information that doesn’t fit your narrative? It’s not the same and never will be. Men haven’t dealt with being forced to give birth. Women have literally died over being denied abortion. In Poland last year women have died cause they couldn’t get proper treatment (abortion). That’s gonna happen in America to. Recently a 10 year old girl was denied abortion. Girls that age aren’t even fit to give birth yet. It literally destroys their bodies or worse kills them. Extremely disrespectful to claim that men went through anything like that, they…

I’m not talking about it in general. I know there are many pro-birth women. But just on this Reddit sub I have seen more positive posts than negative about Roe vs Wade being overturned
/r/MensRights14/07/22 08:50 PM
2

Exactly those were the posts I was talking about. I saw people saying that they liked how women were quote ‘getting fucked like men’ or ‘know what it feels like to be oppressed now’. I’m sorry but that is talk for: I’m happy that women are suffering now. Or even a type of revenge And we all know that this is not gonna lead to better rights for all. It is however gonna lead to more men paying child support. And especially the idea of financial abortion is even further away right now.
/r/MensRights14/07/22 08:32 PM
1

Exactly my point, they are pro life yet they felt like abolishing abortion was equality. So instead of fighting more men’s rights they liked women’s rights being taken away. Now of course that not everybody. But there have been only positive topics here about abolishing the right

No guarantee that she will give birth? The baby could be misscarried yes, but that often times still results in medical bills. Especially if she further along. Also I’m not here to discuss all the in and outs from this law since it’s not even approved yet. Obviously it would be bad if women could just point at some random guy. Like they should prove that he is actually the father. And he can totally ask for custody with a judge if he wants to be in the child’s life.
/r/MensRights14/07/22 03:35 PM
3

Giving birth costs about 15k on average. That doesn’t include stuff like prenatal screening and health check ups. Also women have to start buying clothes and other stuff before the baby is born. So why not start sooner so she can actually buy the necessary items before birth?

It’s pretty shitty to never be able to spend time together. Like I sometimes hate that my boyfriend goes to work 45 hours and in the evening to the gyms. But we do have the weekend together. But why didn’t she work so he could work less? That way you don’t have to sit at home al day. Constantly overthinking isn’t that nice. Beter to be distracted a little and have an actual goal yourself.

But that also means that you can properly say what countries are most/least equal. So OP can’t state that Iceland is the least equal. /r/MensRights14/07/22 08:42 AM

Okay so then they should just determine after birth. Those child support payments can go straight to hospital bills. Giving birth in America costs about 15k on average. So it’s only fair that the man pays his part
/r/MensRights14/07/22 08:25 AM
0

My point is equal pay should not be determined by how they play because that’s first of partially subjective and also not relevant. Relevant is how much revenue they make. I literally said ‘they should bring in around the same amount of money’. They SHOULD. Meaning, revenue should determine the pay not how they play.
/r/MensRights14/07/22 08:23 AM

I don’t know if it’s possible to do a dna test before it’s born.. do you know that? Otherwise they could just make child support count go up but not pay it yet. So the man is basically in debt but doesn’t have to pay until the dna test is done.
/r/MensRights14/07/22 07:19 AM

Exactly they SHOULD bring in the same revenue for equal pay. But they don’t. We all know they don’t bring the same revenue.

This is one of the states where abortion is abolished. They already believe that and that’s why they want men to pay child support from conception.

You made a mistake in this text though. You said that Iceland is the least equal country. Why is that? Women are equal or better of 90% of the time. However how many times exactly are women better of? What %? Cause if you don’t know that then you can’t really say that Iceland is the least equal. Edit: Bashing a report and then using that same report to claim that Iceland is the least equal country is stupid.

True. But it’s still kind of f*cked up in my opinion that women are only paid more in porn and modeling. Good message to young girls. I mean it’s fair in a way, like I get the logic behind it. Weinstein is charged with one felony count each of forcible rape, forcible oral copulation, sexual penetration by use of force and sexual battery by restraint. On April 10, 2020, Weinstein was charged with sexual battery by restraint against a third victim, related to an incident in 2010. Offering money or help is not rape, that’s just gross. I mean the post is generalizing towards men. BUT, almost every woman I know has experiences like this with men. Men can be really creepy I’m sorry. That’s just a fact. I personally don’t believe this theory. I mean, I l recently saw a 16-year old was arrested for leaving her baby in a dumpster. It was all over the news. Way to take my comment out of context. Murderers and abusers should be punished of course. However, you can’t just take a statistic and conclude things without any context. Mothers are a lot more likely than fathers to be sole caregivers. Of course they are then more likely to abuse them if they are the caregivers and fathers aren’t in sight. This statistic does obviously prove that mothers are sometimes horrible. And we shouldn’t automatically give them custody just for being women. Many times …
/r/MensRights10/07/22 11:41 AM

How would you explain this statistic in combination with the fact that there are way more mothers that are the sole caregiver of children? Of course dad’s can’t kill/abuse kids if they aren’t even there. Because right now that makes this statistic ‘unfair’ towards mothers.

Start with just the bar and then slowly increase the weight. I do like 3/4 sets of 8 sometimes 6. And sometimes try to go heavy so like 3/4 reps. But I don’t train it frequently enough plus I have terrible genes for chest. So I don’t improve whatsoever
/r/MensRights09/07/22 01:17 PM

Well that biological part is just a fact. Us women really got screwed in that area. Like I didn’t ask to have periods every month en be responsible for birth control and having to take hormonal stuff or else I get pregnant.

This is still a pretty interesting concept to me. You say you are proud of the accomplishments that other people in your group have done. And that is a pretty natural feeling. However it’s quite strange if you think about it. Because if you have done nothing notable yourself why would you be proud? It’s not something you did. It’s what other men did. Sure, it’s nice to be part of a group that accomplished a lot. But what does it mean if you yourself didn’t do that?
/r/MensRights09/07/22 12:46 PM

Well woman can do that to. But mostly with lower body movements. Bench press is really difficult to train for me. Like I can barely do 30 kg, but deadlift a lot for my weight.

Sure, feminists will get mad at that. But I was talking about people like on that Twitter conversation. Genuinely sabotaging men and hating them for their gender. Going as far as having a dehumanizing name for them. That’s very extreme in my book, even for feminists. It’s the same as a difference between incels and mra’s. Mra’s would get mad for saying that men and women are equal or heavily disagree. Incels straight up hate women and blame their misery on them.

The one taking care of the child is already paying for a lot of stuff like extra groceries, clothing etc. You really have no clue what child support is right? It’s to support the parent who takes care of the child with money. Doesn’t mean that the payer of child support is solely responsible for financing the child.

Same goes for men though. Only 60% of child support that is owed is actually payed for. 30% of single parents receive nothing at all. Here’s some numbers on men vs women: 39.6% of custodial single fathers were awarded child support during the same year 52.7% of custodial single mothers were awarded child support So you are right that single fathers are less likely to be awarded child support. But still 40% is quite a big chance. I don’t actually know why men receive less. Maybe cuss they earn mo…

She should pay child support then. That’s how it already works by the way. There are women that pay child support.
/r/MensRights08/07/22 01:17 PM

Well he should receive from the fund not pay for it in my opinion. It should not be defined by gender, that’s sexism. It should be defined by being single and taking care of kids yourself. Then again I hate this idea. The two parents should pay for their own kids.
/r/MensRights08/07/22 01:16 PM

Also childcare costs on average 300.000 so that seems pretty fair. And not every man pays that amount. Many pay a lot less and some pay a lot more.
/r/MensRights08/07/22 01:06 PM
-6

In the case that the man takes care of the child and woman doesn’t then they should be able to sue the woman for child support. In cases that the woman does it, it’s other way around. Not that difficult to understand I would say.. How dumb would it be if the woman got child support appointed by a judge and then the man sue’s her for having to pay child support. You really think that can work like that?
/r/MensRights08/07/22 12:50 PM
-14

That makes zero sense if a judge already appointed the child support. Best chance is to fight the child support itself, not sue the woman for causing a pregnancy.
/r/MensRights08/07/22 12:14 PM
-2

Wouldn’t it be double pay since women are already taking care of the child by buying them groceries and other stuff etc? The parent that takes care of the child should receive it not pay extra on top of what they already provide for the child. Btw I hate this idea.
/r/MensRights08/07/22 10:46 AM
-1

Honestly I have never seen tweets like that myself. Like never. I think you massively overestimate this femcel problem. Like yes they exist, but the bigger problem is subtle sexism. Especially in real life, people are not gonna be obvious about it but more subtle and sneaky. Sometimes it’s even subconscious.
/r/MensRights08/07/22 10:14 AM

Pretty privilege is real. Yet, Amber heard is really pretty and super hated. Or does it only work for men?
/r/MensRights08/07/22 10:11 AM

I mean costs of giving birth in America range from 15k on average all the way to 50k. If women aren’t allowed to abort then it makes sense that men have to pay for birth as well. But 50/50 not 100% in my opinion.
/r/MensRights08/07/22 09:54 AM
3

Nah I don’t hate men at all. At least not for being man. Like sure, I do hate some men but that’s for ‘good’ reasons. Honestly these tweets are so gross to me. Like I knew incels existed, but I didn’t know femcels was a genuine thing.
/r/MensRights08/07/22 09:47 AM
-6

Johnny Depp is actually pretty bad to and nobody notices. But I agree maybe because he is charming + puppy eyes which makes women sympathetic towards him. I don’t 100% believe in the Chad thing. Chris Brown isn’t really liked that much but not hated by general public either.
/r/MensRights08/07/22 09:46 AM
-8

What about Amber heard tho? People really hate her with their whole heart. While people like Chris Brown aren’t hated that intense. He just got on with his life. Like I get what you’re saying but I feel like once a woman is hated she is hated a lot more intense. To clarify: both are terrible people in my opinion.
/r/MensRights08/07/22 09:40 AM

Pretty sure incels came up with the word ‘foid’ and femcels just stole this word. Like incels and femcels are the same to me just opposite genders.
/r/MensRights08/07/22 09:32 AM
5

‘All women hate men’ consider that statement false now because I don’t hate men and I’m a woman. Also, this is the exact same crap that incels online spew yet I’m not gonna claim that all men are like that. Stop generalizing like that.
/r/MensRights08/07/22 09:30 AM
6

Nope, these are just crazy hateful women. Women like this are extremely rare. And I’m not talking about the letting men buy drinks, because that’s pretty common. But the calling men ‘moids’, acting like they are subhuman etc. 99,99% of women aren’t like that
/r/MensRights08/07/22 09:29 AM
2

It’s the equivalent of ‘foid’ I think. And foid means ‘female humanoid’. So funny how incels and femcels use the same words to describe eachother. Pathetic people.
/r/MensRights08/07/22 09:26 AM

Something doesn’t add up. They are femcels, so involuntary celibate, but they can get tons of drinks from men? That seems quite strange.
/r/MensRights08/07/22 09:24 AM

Let’s be honest. You can’t compare being forced to birth a child which can even cause death to paying child support. Like both are bad, but not one is less then the other. Being forced to pay money sucks. Being forced to sacrifice your body sucks. But it’s not equal at all. How can you even compare?
/r/MensRights07/07/22 08:54 PM
-1

Okay, we’ll a lot of people on this sub view the ban on abortion as a step towards equality. That surely makes it sound like the believe men have less rights or are oppressed or something.
/r/MensRights06/07/22 09:03 PM
-1

Nope, it’s not fine. But men on this sub like to use that are THE argument that men are oppressed and women aren’t. Or that men are somehow more oppressed because of that.
/r/MensRights06/07/22 07:52 PM
-1

No I don’t see that as fine. Quick to accuse me of generalization, but you just did it yourself. Nobody cares if it’s on doctors if you’re already dead. That literally happened in Poland and it also almost happened in the US last weak. Just in time the doctors got approval from their lawyers. If they would have been a few hours later the woman would be dead now. And that’s what this law is causing. By threatening doctors 10+ years in prison. That’s gonna cost lives.
/r/MensRights06/07/22 07:08 PM
0

Are you to stupid to understand my point? I know that the law has exceptions. But the law has some serious side effects that I just told you about. Doctors are so afraid that they sometimes don’t want to do it even in legitimate cases + what exactly is a life threatening situation is not explained well. So they literally have to wait until it is 100% life threatening, but then it is to late in some cases. Literally, women have already died over this even though the law said something else. It’s …
/r/MensRights06/07/22 06:41 PM
0

What? I’m a joke of a human being because I don’t agree with you? I just told you about the horrors that these laws create. Poland is proof for that. Multiple woman have died because of abortion laws. And because doctors were so afraid that they refused treatment. That’s what these laws cause. How difficult is that to understand?
/r/MensRights06/07/22 04:39 PM
0

You should really check about the problems with abortion bans like that. Doctors are so scared of being sued that they sometimes wait until the woman get’s into a life threatening scepsis before they perform the abortion. In other circumstances they have to contact a lawyer first. In Poland a few women have actually died because of the waiting time or doctors refusing it out of fear. So it isn’t as easy as.. well there is an exception. The execution of that is difficult for doctors, because when…
/r/MensRights06/07/22 04:03 PM

Nope because it can happen to any woman. So nope we now have less rights. And don’t come at me with that draft argument. We haven’t had a draft in like 50 years.

It’s not necessarily wrong, but it should be a personal choice. Also, I don’t really see a reason to do it, but it’s not bad if you want it for yourself.
/r/MensRights05/07/22 02:11 PM

That’s my point. No one cares, but it is a fact. And this person would definitely make a better argument if he included all the work that women do for men.

I just explained it for you. But seems like you don’t have any argument against it so..

Women now have less rights then man. Even if we have the baby adopted. Women are then liable for all the costs of child birth which is around 15k on average and can go up all the way to 100k. Let alone the physical and mental consequences of birth. Women can now be forced to birth a child and can literally die from it. No man is forced to die like that. Also 10 year old children have now already been denied abortion. And did you know that 40% of girls aged 11-18 have complications when giving bi…

This is exactly what I mean when I say that mra’s don’t fight for their own rights. They fight against women’s rights. Because we all know this is gonna cause more trouble for women AND men. But y’all are just happy cause women are losing rights. Edit: downvote me al you want. But you can’t really deny it any longer. Haven’t their been like 10 topics about how good it is that Roe vs Wade has been overturned? Even though that means that financial abortion is now even further away.

It think it’s the incels that are so frustrated that they turn that energy into a general hate towards women that give incels a bad name. Being an incel doesn’t make you a bad person. But hating a whole gender of blaming an entire gender for your loneliness isn’t okay. And unfortunately that’s what many of the incels we see online are like.
/r/MensRights03/07/22 02:39 PM

I don’t really see the use in comparing horrible stuff to other horrible stuff. Just wanted to mention that even in that context it isn’t rape. It’s being forced to fight for your country. Which could result in death, mental issues, physical disability. That’s not the same as rape. And you said it yourself. The outcome could be worse then rape, so why compare?
/r/MensRights03/07/22 12:06 PM
-31

People who say stuff like that are just plain disrespectful to actual rape victims
/r/MensRights03/07/22 11:55 AM

Yeah sorry maybe I generalized a bit to much. But there were quite some men on here who were happy that abortion rights were being taken away. Not because they were pro-life. But because according to them, it was equality. Even though that means that financial abortion is further away now.
/r/MensRights03/07/22 11:53 AM
-18

It’s not forced penetration of the body right? Unless you got shot, but that is not really the same as rape as it is not sexual. And rape itself usually doesn’t cause death. Being drafted could result in death, but doesn’t always.
/r/MensRights03/07/22 11:49 AM

Are there ways to not get drafted?
/r/MensRights03/07/22 11:47 AM

/r/MensRights01/07/22 03:37 PM

I mean you all do come across like that. You want to prove so bad that women wouldn’t be able to survive in their own. And men somehow can. And for what? What do you want to say with that?
/r/MensRights01/07/22 02:07 PM

This person literally says women can’t do anything besides cleaning and taking care of children. That is an extremely outdated and sexist view. Remember World War II? Women had to massively take over men’s jobs to keep the country running. Besides I’m not gonna waste my time proving stuff to people who already have the view that women are somehow beneath men.

Jup that last sentence there proves to me yet again what the men on this sub are about. This sub is about sexism towards women and taking rights from women away. When are you actually gonna fight for men’s rights?

I’m not reading all of that crap haha
/r/MensRights01/07/22 09:27 AM

You are such a sexist pig. You consequently underestimate things that women do. Women literally walk for hours to get water in society’s like that. They are also farmers, create goods to sell, take care of the animals and more. Have you even watched the documentary? Or are you just making stuff up? Did you know that women also invented farming? Well you probably don’t believe that either because it doesn’t fit your narrative that women are helpless little beings. Nope, that village was the idea …

Typical that someone on this sub calls people that want to protect themselves from rape and assault entitled. Just like it couldn’t get any worse. I wonder now why the whole world views you guys as sexist.. ew ew
/r/MensRights01/07/22 08:28 AM
1

Well think about the women only village in Kenya. That isn’t about being fully independent from men, it’s about safety. That’s all it is. Apparently the woman in this village had terrible experiences with men in their society (sexual assault, having no independence, having no say etc.). So they weren’t really that protective over them. And they now decide for themselves what their lives look like. Also, every smaller country or city lives by the mercy of stronger countries and cities. So that is…
/r/MensRights01/07/22 08:25 AM
-9

Nope, it means only FOR women to live in. For their own safety and that of their children. That’s the goal. Don’t like it? Well that’s the way it is. A village were only women live, nothing more than that. It never said anything about men not allowed in on occasion or men not being allowed to herd sheep close to the village. Besides, we don’t have anything to prove to you guys. We all know you are gonna hold sexist views regardless of what we do so..
/r/MensRights01/07/22 07:56 AM
-10

You mean herding the sheep? And who cares, the goal isn’t to completely ban man from everything. Their goal was a safe environment. That succeeded because all the men who assaulted them are not allowed in the city. So young girls are protected and that was the goal. It wasn’t their goal to prove anything. They just wanted to be safe.
/r/MensRights01/07/22 07:37 AM
-5

Who tf do you think you are? People have the right to hire other people if they want. After that, women could still be the only people living in it.
/r/MensRights01/07/22 07:34 AM
-4

Women can buy land hire men and still have a women’s only city. You can even hire people to maintain it. No rule that states that isn’t allowed.
/r/MensRights01/07/22 07:32 AM
-1

To be fair. All the ‘male’ cities, because apparently all cities are built by men, aren’t independent either. Every city relies on outsiders.
/r/MensRights01/07/22 07:29 AM
2

Men will never move past women. They are to horny for that hahaha. And besides that, it’s human nature to wanna make connection with people you are attracted to. You can’t suppress that.
/r/MensRights01/07/22 07:27 AM

Because herding animals is so difficult.. not like any woman couldn’t do it.

/r/MensRights30/06/22 09:45 PM

Plenty of modern women get together with men who earn less. I could link plenty of other sources. However, this just sounds like you’re the type of person who won’t believe something because it doesn’t fit your personal narrative. And I’m not really interested in talking to someone like that. Have a nice day though!
/r/MensRights30/06/22 09:27 PM

This is so typical for mra’s. You don’t like the source, or the text says something slightly feminist and you think it loses all credibility. That’s not how that works. It links to a credible survey. Also there were plenty of other links to researches it could send you OR just look it up yourself. But so easy to just discredit something because you think it’s ‘misandrist’. What’s misandrist about women earning more than men in 20% of relationships?
/r/MensRights30/06/22 08:54 PM
0

What the hell? Higher retirement age? In what country is that? I live in Netherlands and here that certainly ain’t the case. So I’m actually a feminist, but that is really f*cked up. I actually feel like some proffesions should have a lower retirement age, not certain genders.

I mean it is a fact that men earn more. The wage gap myth more refers to the fact that is is caused by sexism. I personally don’t think it is caused by sexism. This study also shows that women work less paid hours. So obviously promotions are gonna be more difficult if you work less hours and it also caused by the type of profession that women chooses So them talking about a pay gap that DOES exist, doesn’t mean that the numbers are all of sudden not credible. Because it is a fact that men earn …
/r/MensRights30/06/22 11:12 AM

Studies show that men also perform plenty of unpaid labour. It’s just that in some countries women work a lot more unpaid hours than men do, that’s why women have less free time in this day and age. As they often also have jobs. Some numbers from Europe: https://www.europeandatajournalism.eu/eng/News/Data-news/Women-still-work-more-and-enjoy-less-free-time

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-9579819/amp/Women-earn-husbands-reveal-affected-relationships.html This article links to a survey. Should be about 20% of women that earn more than their partners. Which isn’t rare at all. 26% earns bout the same according to that survey.

Wow get out of here with that common sense.
/r/MensRights30/06/22 07:51 AM

Men and women are pretty equal in the amount of work they do if you cound ALL working hours, not just paid. Some studies even show that women have less free time and work more hours in total. Rest I do agree with.

Take this group for example. All this group does is whine about feminists and being happy when women lose their basic rights. Y’all would rather see women lose rights than fight for your own rights. Yes, I’m talking about the stricter abortion laws. The amount of men here who seem happy about that is shocking. And not because they are pro-life, many of them are pro-choice. /r/MensRights29/06/22 07:37 AM

I don’t think a massive sex strike is gonna happen either. I think it’s just gonna be that many regular women are gonna be a lot more careful with sex. You know, fewer one night stands etc. And that’s probably something that the conservatives see as a positive thing. So it won’t achieve anything except less unwanted pregnancies.
/r/MensRights29/06/22 07:14 AM
1

Give me some numbers then. Because you make a lot of claims but you don’t seem the have anything to back your claims up. Also, I know that women prefer a man who earns more. I mean I prefer that. But that doesn’t mean we never date anyone who earns less.
/r/MensRights29/06/22 07:09 AM
0

Exactly the chance is 98%-99% that you won’t get pregnant in one year while using it. You can literally read that in the birth control guideline themselves. There isn’t a single form of birth control that protects more than 99%. That’s a fact. Also funny that you said that because I actually earn more than my boyfriend of 4,5 years. And I’m not gonna dump him because I earn more. That is ridiculous.
/r/MensRights29/06/22 06:46 AM
1

Ehmm they are truelly not that rare. The chance is about 98-99% that birth control works. Now imagine millions of people having sex. That’s quite a lot of people in which it will fail. Also, no. You seem to think that women in this day and age aren’t capable of earning their own money. Many young women even earn more than men. So why would the man be the only one paying for the assets? That’s just not true. Maybe in the past, but not anymore. There are many women who lost assets to men, just thi…

/r/MensRights29/06/22 06:08 AM
-1

Well I’m pro choice, so we’re not gonna agree on that part. But I do wanna point out that many people who have protected sex still get pregnant. So it isn’t always a case of ohh you’re being irresponsible. It’s sometimes just bad luck. Many anti conception tools protect 98-99%. Also, want to point out that men don’t loose half their assets every time. There isn’t a law that states that men loose that. It’s just that the assets of both partners will be split equally. So if the women has more asse…

/r/MensRights28/06/22 10:29 PM

I mean if you willingly had kids with someone, then you should provide for the kids. That’s just your duty as a parent. Also pretty pathetic that instead of fighting for the rights that you feel are missing, you instead are happy that another group is now losing basic rights. How can you even call yourself an activist if that’s what makes you happy wtf.

23 in 100.000 pregnant women die. About 700 in the US every year. There are 100.000 commercial flights every day. Imagine if every day 24 planes crashed, would you still feel comfortable flying?

Nope men are cheering because they view it as revenge, not me. Although I have to say it’s not all men. It’s a handful of men on this sub that I’ve seen. But then again. It’s not equality now. Women are actually far behind now. Having to give birth and pay + look after a child. While men can be be okay with only paying.
/r/MensRights27/06/22 05:47 PM

It’s not claims alone though. Many of these men have actually been convicted because they were being gross perverts. I’m talking about the Harvey Weinstein’s, Jeffrey Epstein etc. That’s why claims should be investigated.

Child birth can result in death. Every year 700 women in the US die because of it. How can you even say that that’s no big deal? And I’m not even talking about all the other risks, permanent damage to pelvic floor, weak teeth, diabetes, stretched out bellies and boobs, tearing from v t a. 80% of women tear during birth. I mean it’s different for every country. Some countries gave men and women the right vote are the same time. Other countries had 5+ or even many more years between them. Also catering to women or protecting women is something different then women being dominant. Men are by default a bit more dominant then women. That’s just a fact. And I’m not saying that regular men weren’t oppressed. Because they were. But they were oppressed by wealthy men, not by women.

Don’t forget the birth and the recovery time after the 9 months though. For C-section that can be a few months. Also don’t forget possible post partum depression and other hormonal balances that can occur after birth. Maternal suicide has also massively increased and will increase a lot more if women are forced to give birth and then let their child be adopted. Don’t underestimate the emotional impact. It really isn’t as simple as just waiting it out 9 months and then going on with your life.
/r/MensRights27/06/22 08:05 AM

‘Many women’, how many women do that exactly? And is it fair to judge an entire gender based of a small percentage that would do that? Also having to birth a child is not the same as paying child support. I keep hearing men make this argument. But they are not the same in any way. It doesn’t level any playing field. Birth is a traumatic experience with tons of risks (possibly even death) involved. Child support is more of a stressful burden that men are dealing with for 18 years. Isn’t comparabl…

Because people like you like don’t understand the context in which I said it: My point is: people use the biggest injustices from the past (Holocaust, slavery) and compare it with smaller injustices that they face themselves that are not remarkably the same. Marrying a soldier isn’t promoting war wtf.. the only people who can start a war are higher up politicians. Blaming dating preferences for that is insane. Also, every friend of me and myself prefer dating regular men. So I really don’t know where you get the notion from that women only date criminals and racist politicians. Because that is so untrue. Also, your last statement is even more insane. Women have never been dominant in history. You could argue that they are dominant in ways today, but…

It is. Try saying that in public and see how many people are gonna agree with you. Everyone is gonna hate you for saying stuff like that. The only reason I’m getting downvoted and you upvoted is because we are in a men’s rights sub full of people with backward views.
/r/MensRights27/06/22 05:44 AM

You should try to break that algorithm in some way. Because this is apparently stuff that TikTok for some reason thinks you like. Don’t click on it anymore, swipe through immediately. Because their are enough shitty people (and women) that make stupid content about men for you to have a live long stream of that type of content. It’s also very harmful, because you now probably feel like every women on earth hates short guys. But that isn’t the case at all.
/r/MensRights27/06/22 05:40 AM

Is it only feminists that circumsize their sons is it a different group? Or is just a lot of different groups that do that to their sons? I’m not from the US and circumcision is not really the norm in my country. In fact I don’t really see the use of it. Men are born with that skin for a reason.
/r/MensRights27/06/22 05:33 AM

As a women. Most women don’t agree with that, I know that. People who genuinely believe that are very radical feminists probably. But usually they use that to make a point about how it’s wrong to decide for other people what to do with their body. They don’t mean that statement literally.
/r/MensRights27/06/22 05:27 AM
-2

Same can be said for men. If you don’t want kids, just don’t have sex. Why is it you people think women are solely responsible for babies?
/r/MensRights27/06/22 05:24 AM
-1

The concept of child support is that you work to provide for your children. And it isn’t always a case of ‘man is forced to become a father because women refuses to abort’. Many fathers were perfectly fine with having kids and a after a few years mother and father split. If mother is the sole caretaker after that, then boohoo that the dad has to pay child support. That is not slavery, that is the bare minimum.
/r/MensRights27/06/22 04:50 AM
0

Reality is that women can have abortions for all sorts of reasons. I’m sure unprotected sex is a reason. But birth control also fails. Change is like 98% that birth control works. The other 2% happens often is you have 300 million inhabitants.
/r/MensRights27/06/22 04:33 AM
-1

Women are liable for child support if the man is the caretaker of the kids. That’s usually not the case, hence why so many men are paying it and not women.
/r/MensRights27/06/22 04:16 AM
0

Nope men and women both have rights and responsibilities. However men don’t have the right to decide what happens with the body of a woman. Just like I don’t have the right to decide what happens to your body. Even if for some strange reason men suddenly were able to carry children, men would have the right to decide what to do with it, not women. Because it’s their body.
/r/MensRights27/06/22 04:08 AM
-3

It’s called child support for a reason not male support. It’s to provide for your kids not yourself.
/r/MensRights27/06/22 03:58 AM
-1

Child support is not remotely the same as slavery. Slavery is literally being the property of another person. I now you men on this sub like to be dramatic. But paying child support is not slavery. It is your child and your just providing for it. I know that men are sometimes forced into the situation. And in those cases it is abuse, but never slavery.
/r/MensRights27/06/22 03:56 AM

Comparing child support to slavery is pathetic.
/r/MensRights27/06/22 03:54 AM

Please don’t underestimate the mental and physical pain/issues that come with any of these options. Giving birth to a child and then giving it up for adoption or driving al alone to another state to perform a traumatic procedure isn’t fun. It’s pretty sad that women have to go through all these things. Women can still get ptsd or pps from giving birth and there are also many other risks of diseases and even death. Men at least still have the right to not be forced to give birth and then give up …
/r/MensRights26/06/22 09:00 PM
4

That would be completely fair. In my opinion. Only the ‘owner of the dick’ should decide whether or not he wants to be circumsized. Same concept goes for abortion. Only the person with the uterus can decide what’s gonna happen to her uterus. That’s literally what the statement means. Although the statement in itself is a little rough. I can understand that people might take it the wrong way.
/r/MensRights26/06/22 08:54 PM
-8

I’m probably gonna get downvoted for this, but that’s also how I feel about many people on this sub. I literally see men here cheering because now, I quote ‘women are fucked like men’. And they are happy because to them it’s like revenge on women. So sad to see how some feminists and Mra’s seem to think it’s a men vs women. Please let’s stop this imaginary war against eachother.

True. I hope more people realize that it’s not a man vs women thing. We’re all hit by the controlling religious people in that court. Anyways thanks for the civil discussion!

Not everything is as black and white as you think it is. There is nuance in almost everything in life. Sure, some people use the statement in a way that isn’t how it’s meant. However, a regular person wouldn’t support the erasing of human right’s just because a small group chants a statement that isn’t even meant to be taken that literally.
/r/MensRights26/06/22 10:27 AM

Maybe not the posts themselves. But I have seen a lot of men on this sub literally saying what I just quoted. But financial abortion is definitely off the table now that regular abortion isn’t even allowed anymore. Men should probably work towards all abortions being allowed or else their desired financial abortion is never gonna be possible.
/r/MensRights26/06/22 10:24 AM

Can you read? This is about the men who are trying to make decisions on women’s bodies. That statement was NEVER meant for you. You probably don’t even have any power to decide what women should do with their bodies.

Personally I hate to see teen fathers being dragged down in life. Especially since they have no real say in whether or not to keep the baby. However, I do know that men and women should work together on this issue and not against eachother. I see a lot of men on this sub cheering because women are now, quote ‘getting fucked like men’. But this abortion ban is gonna create a huge increase in teens who’s future is gonna be a whole lot more difficult. I also see a foster care system full of young b…

I’m not allowed to decide what another women should do with her uterus either. That’s just bodily autonomy. You can stand up for an issue without have a say over individual people’s uteruses. It’s a little over € 2000 a year. It’s a lot of money at that age, especially if you don’t live with your parents. It sucks I know but it isn’t a life changing amount of money to pay. Really isn’t. Especially if you can work because you don’t have to take of the child yourself. Most teen fathers walk away at least, so they have their hands free to work. And yes pregnancy gets easier with time. The worst part is over after 6 weeks. That’s usually the time when you can start working out again. But…

Child support is usually calculated by taking a % of income. Not saying that that makes it any less stressful. But 10s of thousands of dollars is usually only the case if a person already earns a lot of money. % can range from 10% tot 30% depending on how many kids a men has. It obviously should not get to the point that a man is considering suicide. Not sure how often that happens exactly. But I am sure there are cases in which the man is basically not able to afford the childcare because his i…

Really is a penis fracture all you can think of? I was talking about risk of death, risk of diabetes and other permanent risks such as losing your teath, arthritis. I know, you never new pregnancy could cause all that. A men doesn’t have that type of a risk during sex. Also penis fracture is usually something that occurs in rough sex. You know that’s something you can control. It doesn’t fracture out of nowhere.

How are you gonna decide about abortion though? Let’s say you accidentally make a girl pregnant. You want to get to baby aborted or you wanna keep the baby. The girl wants the opposite of what you want. Who is gonna get to make the decision, you or her? Her obviously, it’s her body so she has the final vote. That’s just how it works and it’s always gonna work like that. Also telling someone to shut up is not illegal nor is it lying. It’s just their opinion. You don’t have to listen to them.
/r/MensRights26/06/22 07:46 AM

So a law is forcing you to stay abstinent and you feel like that is something to party about? Unless you of course weren’t having sex in the first place, in that case it doesn’t really chance anything for you.

Louisiana literally just announced a new bill in which rape and incest are not valid exceptions. No matter how you explain that or read that, rape is NOT a valid exception. How difficult is that to understand? Some states like Utah do approve abortion in the case of rape. That’s why I’m not talking about Utah here.

It took me about 2 seconds to find 2 articles: Exceptions for rape and incest are uncommon. The Guttmacher Institute, a research organization that supports reproductive rights, anticipates 26 states certain or likely to ban abortion now that there are no federal protections. Among those 26 states, there are about 41 abortion bans total, with some states having more than one ban, it said. Just 10 of the 41 bans have exceptions for rape and incest. That’s like almost the same thing as a little girl being raped and forced to birth and look after the child. So you admit how terrible both are? Neither is worse then the other. So no women don’t have more reproductive rights then men.

What rights do women still have after not being able to choose that men don’t have? Just curious here because as far as I’m concerned men aren’t forced to give birth with all risks involved. You do realize that a lot more men are gonna have to pay child support now right? I’m talking a lot of extra teen pregnancies. 16 year old guys are gonna have to pay child support a lot more often for 18 years at least. That’s gonna be a lot of broken men’s futures as well. This isn’t just a women’s issue.

9 out of 10 women deal with a form of tearing during birth. So not, it’s not a small % that deal with the risks. I’m cherry picking the scary things because those risks are always there when you give birth. And you will never know beforehand whether you are gonna actually need a C-section or expirerende some other pregnancy disease. There are so many things that can go wrong and no one should be forced to go through them. Many people severely underestimate the danger of giving. It isn’t fairytal…

Abortion is NOT as much as men’s issue as a women’s issue. Women can die giving birth, we are the ones to suffer most from the consequences so get out of here with that bullcrap. Men are also affected by whether or not an abortion is carried out. But never as much as women. That’s like saying men are as much affected by birth as women. They are not. Men don’t have to recover for 6 weeks nor do they have to go through the fear and pain of giving birth. IT’S NOT THE SAME you moron.

I said life threatening and body altering. Not life altering. But a birth is all of those things. There are actually women who even have mental issues such as PTSD after giving birth. The money is supposed to be for the child though not the mother. It’s called child support. You think it’s meant for the women or that a women steals it from men, but is used for the child. Anyway I’m not here to dismiss any struggles relating to child support. My only point is that it’s different to being forced t…

Are the risks of safe and legal abortions comparable to the risk of giving birth? No they are not. Abortions don’t have many risks, especially when they are carried out early (most abortions are carried out under week 12). You know what has the greatest risk? Unsafe abortions. You know, the type of abortions that women flee to when abortions are ruled out? So stop acting like you act in the interest of women by ruling out abortions.

It’s not something the women need, it’s for the child. But I’m sorry didn’t mean to make it sound like that. Paying money can obviously be a huge stressful burden. And I’m not saying that there aren’t any unjustified things happening in this area. I mean I have heard stories about this. Yes but I don’t understand first you say that women should not be forced and then after you are talking about going to court for mediation. And how women aren’t allowed to throw themselves down the stairs to get rid of the baby. That implies that you feel like women aren’t always allowed to have an abortion. I’m sorry if a read that wrong, but I just don’t really understand what your point is.

This has to be the most stupid argument I have ever seen. You really think that is the same thing? 80% of women tear their vagina while giving birth. 30% of women have to have a C-section. It’s not something you can opt out of. The baby has to go out and there’s literally almost always damage and risk. In the mean time, plenty of men opt out of paying child support. Many women never even receive 1 single penny. And besides that. Child support is being calculated of of what you already earn. Most…

Sometimes things are the way they are because a person who enjoys power to much has the power to make ridiculous changes. Just because they can. In fact I don’t think we can ever 100% have no sexism at all. And if women want to fight for that, why can’t they? Just like men are fighting for what they believe is right for them. So what your saying is that courts should force women to go through birth? Because forcible giving birth is completely different to being forced to pay child support. One could result in permanent damage, ripping out from vagina to anus, lot’s of diseases, it can make teeth fall out all the way to death and the other is just paying forced to give up money. And what happens when a women who is forced to give birth dies? That’s death by fault in my book. How can someone who is against the draft be…

/r/MensRights23/06/22 05:32 PM

Okay, but I’m not talking about that. I know women right now have the right to decide whether to keep a baby or not. But I’m curious what you want to do. Do you really want to give men the right to decide whether a woman has to continue the pregnancy or not? Wouldn’t that be unfair towards women. And besides that, either the man or the women has have a final say. They can’t both have the final say. That’s impossible.
/r/MensRights23/06/22 03:00 PM

Not all risks are the same. You can’t compare sickness and death with child support.
/r/MensRights23/06/22 02:56 PM

Weren’t you just now advocating for men to not carry any financial risks? What haha. And now your saying that women should accept the risk to diabetes, cesearians and even death.. because ‘life’s full is risks’.
/r/MensRights23/06/22 01:56 PM

I agree, but what if the men wants to keep it and the woman doesn’t? He still wouldn’t have any say right?
/r/MensRights23/06/22 01:52 PM

But what would you do in a situation where the men and women disagree on whether to keep the baby? It’s gonna be a 1 vs 1. Who get’s to decide in a situation like that? The person who has to give birth (with many risks) or the person who gave 50% of the dna? I don’t like it either that men have no say in such situations. But I don’t really see how we can solve that.

There are actually parts of the army where no women has ever made the entry tests because it is simply to hard. We just aren’t as strong. So you could bring women into the army. But we should not be put to the same standards as men. Perhaps even doing a different type of work within the army.
/r/MensRights23/06/22 01:42 PM

I think most feminists in theory are actually for equal rights between men and women. But their definition of equal rights differs from yours. For example. The right to abortion is not the exact same thing as the right to be able to walk away without any financial obligations. It’s close, but you still can’t compare the two.
/r/MensRights23/06/22 01:40 PM

What.. you complain about me putting words in your mouth and you are doing the same. I’m not oppressed, never said I was. Yet you say that I have said that. Weird. And I’m not really complaining about anything either. You should learn to read a bit more carefully.
/r/MensRights21/06/22 10:54 PM

Yes true. I think some women know that men have to just accept the behaviour of women. Because men can be framed as the aggressor very quickly. They want to avoid that of course. But in my experience it happens to me a lot as well. Just selfish people that think they are more important then others.
/r/MensRights21/06/22 09:45 PM

Your wording made it seem like it was something that I said or something that was my opinion. But you can’t speak for all men. I myself have literally seen men complain about being rejected. But it’s not even that strange to complain about it. Men have a right to talk about it. Because rejection can hurt. As long as they don’t hold it against women because people just have preferences.
/r/MensRights21/06/22 09:40 PM

That was never a point I made. It is totally acceptable to go to women and introduce yourself or something like that. That’s freedom of speech. It’s also not something that is forbidden whatsoever. It is totally acceptable. However, you have to be prepared to be rejected and be okay with that.

That last bit is where I really disagree. I don’t believe men are oppressed. I mean, yes some things could improve for men. Especially in court and custody law and more protection for abused men. But other then that, men have freedom. They are not restricted by law to stay at home or be forced to be dependent on someone to make all the important decisions. Women were actually restricted in the UK as well. Just look it up, it’s called the marriage bar. It was completely abolished in the UK in 1973 that’s less then 50 years ago. Even widowed women with children weren’t allowed to go back to work, leaving them very vulnerable. Also the fact that many women weren’t allowed to make financial decisions for themselves (by law). Not true. Not all women were given the choice. But that is due to circumstances, like cities being barricaded etc. Many women died in Mariupol for example while they were attempting to flee. They weren’t forced by the government like men between 18-50 were.
/r/MensRights08/06/22 12:40 PM

I disagree. We are a lot more wealthy today than we were 100 years ago or even 50 years ago. Just think about all the luxuries we have. Not all women have been able to flee though and were also killed in fire/bombing. And there’s thousands of women who were raped by Russians now. So i think that’s what they were talking about. Men are killed, women are raped and children abducted. That’s what I have read in the news at least. They all sound terrible. And not like one of these groups are at greater risk. Well obviously now that men can’t leave, there are more men at risk because they are in a war zone.

Perhaps you already know this, but maybe this helps. A lot men that have successful relationships don’t have every quality that you just named. A lot of guys that aren’t ‘perfect’ still have succes with women. You don’t need to be perfect, as long as you have other nice qualities. It also isn’t as black and white. I know dating is very hard for men who struggle socially. Especially when they are scared to make the first move. Unless you go out a lot and-or are very good looking, not a lot is gonna happen if you don’t make the first move as a man. Most women don’t get approached on the street. We also have to look for it. We have to go out, get ready, look approachable, smile etc. If you don’t do that you won’t get approached. If I did not put in effort, no man would come to me. If I look really shy, no ma…

Men have not been hearing spite and venom for for 4 generations. That’s very untrue. 4 generations is something like 100 years ago. 100 years ago married women were not even allowed to work or open their own bank accounts. How have men been hearing spite since that time? Men were literally in charge of everything during that time. Also, what spite and venom are you hearing then? And who’s saying it to you?

NEW YORK (Reuters Life!) - Women are six times more likely to end up separated or divorced if they are diagnosed with cancer or multiple sclerosis than if their male partners were facing the same illness, according to a U.S. study. The study confirmed earlier research of a divorce or separation rate among cancer patients of 11.6 percent, similar to the general population, but found the rate jumped to 20.8 percent when the woman was sick versus 2.9 percent when the man was ill.

Saying that women are Incapable of love or that women don’t love in the pure way that men apparently do is hateful. It really is. Because it makes women look like selfish demons or something. Imagine reading that as a women. I have been in love with my boyfriend for 4 years now and statements like this hurt. Because men like you are basically saying that my feelings of love are fake. Don’t spread that women hating crap please. It’s just not true. Women are just as capable of love as men. We are not creatures from hell. Also, men like you are never capable of providing any scientific research or fact.. so why would this be true? It’s made up.
/r/MensRights01/06/22 03:56 PM

Nope he said ‘women, particularly attractive ones’. So that includes all women, but mostly attractive ones. But this is called pretty privilege, and that’s something that good looking men also benefit from, not specifically women. Just look it up. People have a better impression of good looking people. They think they are smarter, more honest etc. People downvoting me for scientific facts.. Why?
/r/MensRights01/06/22 11:30 AM

That’s really wrong. But I think it’s actually because the country is still so patriarchal. They view men as aggressors and women as weak, victims. And that needs to change.
/r/MensRights01/06/22 11:08 AM
-50

Do you have at least some proof for your claims? Because I’m a women and I can’t just slack of at work. I have quota I need to reach, I have an evaluation every half year. And I’m 24, so supposedly I still have this privilege. I would be broke to if I lost my job.. /r/MensRights01/06/22 11:05 AM

But that doesn’t change the fact that there are still a lot of fathers who abandon their children and in that case it’s not the mother who is to blame. /r/MensRights17/05/22 03:55 PM

Is it really 3 days a month? That seems a lot. As a women, I know most women don’t need 3 days. Most women can work just fine if they take some pain killers and take it a little easier for instance. (Some women have very bad/painful periods though, so maybe for a small group it is necessary)
/r/MensRights17/05/22 03:54 PM

I think it’s because periods are not really a condition. They are a cycle that all women go through every month. I think many women that have bad periods feel uneasy with taking sick leave every month. The taboo is very big still unfortunately. But I don’t even know if women would feel comfortable taking this leave either, certainly not every month.

It is relevant because according to op, women have been thriving in academia for decades upon decades. That’s why I said women haven’t even been independent for decades. So of course women have not been outperforming men in academia for decades. Learn to read.

How does it feel knowing there are millions of women on this planet with a higher IQ than you and who earn more money then you?And how does it feel knowing such a ‘weak’ gender has invented hundreds of important things. Also, we live in a different society now. It’s not about physical strength anymore. Anyone with a brain can be successful in this society. That’s the real power. And I’m sorry but women have on average about the same iq as men. It’s just that men’s are more extreme. So there are …

Women who were abused and raped within marriage could not get out. And then there’s the fact that the men had so much more power and autonomy. Once a women was married she was basically completely depending on a man. And men did sometimes take advantage of that. And no, not every man was a perfect husband and never will be. Stop pretending like it was so perfect for women, because it wasn’t at all and still isn’t.

Wel I don’t think men are useless. I personally do think that the world would collapse without men. But I also believe the world would collapse without women. /r/MensRights16/05/22 07:27 AM

So wives are still women? Why should a married women have less rights? That’s ridiculous and sexist. Also want to add that rape within the marriage was perfectly legal. Do you also agree with that? And you damn well know that is wasn’t acceptable for for women not to marry. It especially wasn’t acceptable to be with a man and not be married. Women like that were shamed. So they were basically forced to marry and give up their rights. God.. cannot believe people like you still exist. So sad.

Why are you getting upset about a fact? Isn’t it true most men and women are either in relationships, dating or looking to meet someone? I’m talking about the majority here. I’m a woman myself and you are basically telling me women have no morals. I know I have morals and I know many other women also have them. Okay, but that probably means you can still form meaningful relations with people you are attracted to. It’s hard to just stop dating if you are only attracted to women and you happen to dislike women at the same time. Many men like that still date women for company, sex etc.
/r/MensRights14/05/22 04:52 PM

Wow I never knew this. I always thought women were the gender worse of in terms of healthcare. But apparently men are also discriminated against in certain ways. It was the standard. But it would be extremely hard to force people to go back to that standard. And why should we decide how other people live? It’s their freedom to decide how to live their life. Besides I don’t even believe it has that many benefits except for maybe less unwanted children.
/r/MensRights10/05/22 05:59 PM

It’s not a bad idea, but it’s very unrealistic and you know that. Also, what do you mean by we lost ‘our way’? Should everyone not decide for themselves what is their way? Life wasn’t perfect in 1950, just as it isn’t perfect now.

I was just talking about the fact that some women have very painful period’s and they are pressured to just go through and can’t just take a day of every month because they will literally get in trouble for that. But it’s always been pretty mild for me.

I really don’t care to be honest. I’m not letting a man baby sit my kids. It’s been proven to be a lot riskier in terms of sexual abuse etc. And my kids always come first, sorry. Hope that doesn’t hurt your feelings, but it’s just the truth. I still agree that in theory, men can be just as capable.
