1	I feel I missed out and will be shamed if I want the same things everyone else had. The only thing you are missing out on is what is potentially in front of you. You say if you met the love of your life tomorrow, would they not be someone who valued and loved you as you are? If someone loved you to the extent of a good partner where they wanted only what is best for you, supported you and your goals, and genuinely was there for you within that love without condition would seem like the fact that your dating life was not what others might have had seem rather unimportant. 2	What to change? Rating systems do not really matter. I have always found that the best relationships are ones where they are close friends. I know of many couples who have been together for many years (10+) and they are each other's best friend. While that may be, they also maintain healthy relationships with their joint and individual friends. My point is that friendship is an important piece of the puzzle.
