The inverse is also true. If the wife goes to work everyday and the husband stays at home all day, she should absolutely come home to a clean house. Why is this even controversial?

The poster is factually correct; nobody is required to do anything. I’m not required to weigh under 300lbs, have a job, bathe regularly, wear clean clothes…the difference is that I know and accept there are consequences if I don’t do these things.

Let’s assume she is 35 and do some fun with numbers. I did a non-thorough quick google search to find these stats. About 30% of men have a bachelors 9% of men make 100k+ 12% of men are 6’1” or taller There are 64 million men aged 25-54. any +/- range is ~20million people 40% of men at age 35 have some amount of hair loss 70% of men are at least a little overweight - no 6-pack I’ll ignore drugs, alcohol and tobacco since it’s not clear if she is talking about addiction or occasional use By age 40…

I'm not sure age matters too much here. Women who are friendly, feminine, don't have long requirement lists and are not obese tend to have no trouble with relationships. She just sounds insufferable; I'm guessing she doesn't have too many strong female relationships either.

Notice the use of the present tense. It isn't, "normalize dating people who used to be sex workers". So we need to add a few: Normalize dating poly men Normalize open relationships

This is a manipulation tactic. She is trying to create scarcity in the marketplace. It is kind of like two people bidding on the same item.

Maybe she can't do the math. The median US income is ~50k. Let's assume he makes double that and is covering her lost income with his hard work. After all taxes, health care, 401k, ...he might bring home 6k per month. Let's say she files for divorce and manages to get alimony on top of child support. She might end up with 3k per month. She will have to get a job to make up the difference or be destitute. All of the "abusive" chores will be 100% on her plus working a full-time job. This is smart …

Seems like a lot of words to say, "I want a good looking FWB". Just say that and be done with it.

You could rewrite just a few words of this and convince everyone that a decent 20s/30s guy wrote it. The tables turn eventually and the men have all the choice and do exactly what she used to do....

It doesn't even occur to her that he probably isn't all that into her. Not wanting to meet her friends, not wanting to go places, not wanting to show affection, and the list goes on; these are all big signs that he is keeping her around until something better comes along.

Being a widow is in no way germane to the post. This is only mentioned to deflect any potential criticism. Nobody wants to be seen "picking on" a widow.

She probably can't get it directly (assuming he used a good lawyer and accountant to establish the trust). She may be able to get some of it indirectly through alimony. If any of the money was used to establish and furnish a standard of living, she can possibly get additional alimony.

Don't need every little detail; the few she provided tells me everything I need to know.

I would recommend reposting the pic with the kids faces blurred. It's borderline personal information and plus they're minors.

In college I used to periodically work out with a guy who was gay (no I’m not gay or on the DL, keep your snarky comments to yourself), he had this “sixth” sense about who was gay, he called it his gaydar. I wonder if all men have this, maybe call it Hodar or THOTdar..

Men are not afraid of commitment, that is total BS. They might be afraid of committing to YOU, but they are not afraid of commitment. The vast majority of men do eventually get married, we are just being more cautious to avoid people like this.

Something is wrong with her math. She said she was “hit hard” by the Covid yet her business is making pet food. I know a lot of people who have pets and none of them got rid of them or gave them less food due to Covid. I could see her business declining a bit as people switch to cheaper food...something doesn’t add up.

I see “abuse” and “trauma” tossed around a lot when it is very likely a life of bad decisions. I’m not trying to minimize real abuse and real trauma, I do see a lot of people claim abuse and trauma but give no specifics. Makes me wonder

There is a serious double standard here. If a man wrote an article that said effectively, “After my wife had kids she was still having s*x with me regularly but I got bored and filed for divorce.” The outrage would be immediate and probably (barring anything else) justified. When we get bored we just watch some porn, rub one out and move on with our day...file for divorce?? GFY lady

I work in the tech industry surrounded by somewhat awkward/shy men who earn well into 6-figure land. These men find it difficult to get dates and find girlfriends. So how about this, normalize not overlooking good honest men. What a bunch of BS!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
