It's a bit stunning to see how emotionally immature the people on this sub are sometimes.

Did he tell her he wanted it to happen that day? All I could see was brief mention of hypothetical locations.

That was just my read. Yeah, and I was asking you where/how you read that. You're going in circles now.

She asked him to get tested, he got tested, and then he clearly communicated to her that he got tested. He then made a single proposition for where the location for their plans might be, without mentioning a time-frame. Where are you reading anything other than that? I don't see anything that suggests he was trying to have sex with her before the 10 days were over, that's just something you added to his motive out of thin air.

As a girl who just went thru finals I would have been so annoyed if is dude hit me up to fuck when I’m going thru a super busy and stressful time Why get so emotionally invested when you can just decline and move on with your day?

Which text said that he wanted to hook up before the 10 days were over?

Well we aren't all minute men like you. Some of us like to take more than 5 mins to hook up. She's got finals and shit. Wanting to hookup implies he wants to take hours off of her precious time. I have no idea what point you're trying to make here. It only takes a few seconds to read some texts. I don't see any evidence that he told her he wanted to hook up before the 10 days were over.

just don't take up her time too much. Where are you getting the impression that he took up a lot of her time? He sent a few texts, which might take a few seconds for her to read, but nothing else stands out to me as something that would take up her time.

How is that the opposite of what she said? Because she ghosted him. Ghosting someone, and seeing them in 10 days, are mutually exclusive intentions. and hes there texting for to hookup 3 days in He sent texts asking for a hookup 3 days in? Where do you see that? All I see is that he texted her about the test, and then very briefly made suggestions about a plan to meet up, where no urgency or timeframe is mentioned.

She literally did the opposite of what she told him she was going to do. It's her right to do that, but there's no world where that intention was clearly communicated lol.

Where did anyone suggest entitlement? She told him that she would do it after he got tested, and he believed her. When she did the opposite of what she said she was going to do, he got confused, and probably a little hurt. That's totally fine and normal lol. I don't see anyone suggesting that she owes him something, or that it's not her right to do the opposite of the things she says.

A surprising number of people are driven by impulse and have no understanding of what they're feeling, why they're feeling it, or how to communicate their feelings to others. These are the people who are most likely to ghost you, imo. The good news is that they're doing you a favor. Emotionally avoidant people are likely to have a pattern of drama and unhealthy relationships. You don't want that in your life.

hounded her Where is that in the OP's story? It looks like he may have sent her 2 or 3 texts. Is that "hounding" to you?

A lot of the posts criticizing you are just adding things to the story from their own imaginations, it seems.

I've never suggested that she owes him anything. Did you respond to the wrong post?

Clear and consistent communication isn't desperate or weird. It doesn't sound like OP was spamming her, or doing anything that could reasonably be considered threatening. Consider that sometimes people are emotionally dysregulated and have unpredictable reactions to things that would otherwise be perfectly reasonable, and that it's not your responsibility to always predict and manage other people's emotions.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
