How long has the relationship actually been over and why hasn’t she left yet?

This was me as a kid. Everyone thought I had the perfect family but my mom was a nightmare behind the scenes. The only thing you can do here is teach him the value of peace. Turn that kid into a little Buddha. Teach him the importance of forgiveness. It’s going to be difficult but I wish someone did that for me. I was a pretty angry kid.

My ex thought my therapist had a hidden vendetta against her so nah. My therapist wasn’t giving me an appropriate scolding and instead was trying to understand us BOTH as a couple w/ our patterns… so she wasn’t really interested if I wasn’t getting crucified. 🤷‍♂️

Spoiler but it ends … sometimes it comes back in full-swing but it lets go of the chronic hold it has on your life. I understand what you’re going through and I love my ex even though she dropped me and my son. You’ll feel a mix of things.. shame, guilt, but those emotions will get smaller and smaller until good things can take the lead again.

My ex did the same thing. Didn’t trust our therapist, thought she was on “my side, not hers” and would forego any attempt at understanding our problems. Sorry that happened to you man.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
