Any comments now, OP? She's been murdered via strangulation. Still think she's not being held accountable for her bad behaviour?

That's why my fiance had as equal say as I did when we needed an abortion. It must be so hard for men to not have the 'body right' that women do. If he wanted to keep it, we would have kept it. His opinion mattered just as much as mine.

Woman here. As someone who has been assaulted and not believed when I brought it to the authorities, this makes me more righteously angry than I can properly articulate. Anyone who falsifies accusations of assault is, in my mind, the lowest of the low. So many people who are truly assaulted are not believed, and then this woman comes along and does this?! As men, you are an exceptionally vulnerable population to this insidious type of manipulation. There are so many aspects of victimization that…

As a woman, I am so happy to hear her say this. I truly believe that men are extremely unrepresented in conversations about inequity, and the intensity of the lens that we have used to observe female inequity needs to be turned just as hard to our counterparts. You are a hidden and silenced demographic, and I pray that more women and men that share her sentiment come into the public arena.

This is stupifyingly ridiculous. You've managed to be racist, bitchy, self centered, and prejudiced. Bravo. This is next level douchebaggery.

Not to get all philosophical on you, but it's not like there is some sort of standardized test for captaincy, is there? Judgements and opinions are all we have, no?

It encourages me to be very vocal about my insecurities and not to withhold them from my partner. It also espouses the idea that I should be easy on myself with emotional outbursts and that they indicate growth and shouldn't be repressed. Which all has some merit, but I don't believe it encourages a healthy middle ground. I'm looking for a way to temper this perspective without becoming burdensome.

I've never been attracted to wealth. Am I weird? I'd like him to be able to pay his rent and bills, but anything more than that is beyond my radar.

Wow. A chubby chaser, huh? I never thought of it that way. But I guess he does prefer fat women, obviously.

I know it was. I appreciate blunt feedback. No point in mincing words. Some of the best truths are spoken firmly.

This really hit home. Thank you. I guess this is the "dread" coming into play. And I never really realized that I was hijacking him for emotional validation. Thanks for the clarity.

As a newcomer, may I ask: why does my fiancé say that my intelligence is a huge turn on for him? Absolutely no disrespect meant, I am just trying to figure all of this out.
