| 2 | Bias against men's issues within the United Nations and the World Health Organization: A content analysisYou're right melanin doesn't affect how pills and drugs are going to work. It's mainly your liver and kidneys. Different races have different absorption and excretion rates. In addition to being more prone to side effects. There's a big difference in gender as well. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2594139/ You can read about a bit of it here, from the National Library of Medicine. The women's team only got paid for wins, while the men got payed just for playing. I hate this equal pay stuff as much as the next guy, but this was actually a serious problem and I'm sure a majority of people knew nothing about it or how far the Women's team has come in recent years.
