Fucking practice mate. Go out and approach with the expectation of being ignored or rejected. Find what works for you. For me I just kinda ignore the target and seduce the group shes with or wait till she chimes into a conversation I'm having with someone she knows. Kinda let her pack wing for me. Cold approach is hit or miss, unless I notice them notice me. Then it's just about letting her speak as much as you can.

For me, the thrill is in the chase. Like once I have her attention, I almost instantly lose interest. If I do get attached and start to fixate, I play chess every time I start to think of them. It distracts me for 15-30 minutes each game and allows me time for those feelings to pass. Eventually they get in the "friends only" box and I find another woman to distract me. Needless to say, I've gotten good at chess. Rated >1200 and it's only my first year playing seriously.

I agree with the shop owner, but not your logic. Ya, you could discriminate against marital status, until theres a case that sets precident. Take those "strange laws" articles that pop up for example. No, there wasnt a law that said you cant tie a giraffe to a telephone pole in Iowa. Until some in town circus did and it became an issue and subsequently illegal.

We are wired to let them go first and while we may not have the polite intent, I find it easier to just smile and give them the right away. Makes you look good on a social scale and avoid dirty looks and any interaction with them at all. You can still be chivalrous without giving them anything.
