and if they are.... so? not everyone matures or has the same progress in life, a 30 year old might go back to school after having dead end job after dead end job, while a 22 year old might be about to finish up grade school

I was literally just thinking about this You want to talk about power dynamics in a relationship? In today's day and age women don't have to do much to get noticed by people, they just have to walk down the street and look somewhat presentable, they have a huge picking pool of potential mates at any given moment even when in a relationship Men on the other hand, in order to be seen you have to be in the top 1% of both humor and looks otherwise you get tossed into "maybe if i have time" category …

I think War would be inevitable no matter what, to be perfectly honest I don't think a male or female would really change the amount of War that's in the world Potentially I could see a woman being in charge meaning less war simply because to break through that glass ceiling they would want to be working harder, in order to get there they have to overcome so much more adversity than a male does therefore they're probably much more capable, but I don't think it's going to and War altogether

I think I would have to disagree, I'm a late 20-year-old who's back in college hanging out with a lot of 18-22 year olds I think we finally reached that age group that since their earliest memories social media has existed, and it's definitely showing. I have sat in on more than one conversation where they are absolutely just blasting any and all age gaps (to the point where they were saying it was weird that Patrick Stewart's wife, who he met when she was 30, was is 38 years younger than him) I…

There is definitely a lot of only fan models that they're entire marketing strategy is going after older men, or purposely trying to attract a 30 and up crowd as a 19 year old They get called empowered for it, and then in the exact same breath they call all the men that have subscribed to it creeps Like make it make sense

I've seen some of my coworkers Express desire to be in an age Gap relationship, but it's usually because somebody older and handsome would walk in the door and they would immediately want to flirt with them I do know a few women that won't ever vocalize it, but if push came to shove I think they would probably be willing to if they found somebody they really liked

I literally once saw on a lesbian subreddit in the exact same breath a woman defend older women dating much younger women as "oh as lesbians and women we respect each other and are just trying to guide and" And then quite literally by the end of the sentence was saying things like "when men do it they're just trying to take advantage of them" 15 up votes

That's an absolute massive over generalization that you have absolutely no evidence other than "I don't like the vibes" to base it off of

The thing that I like to bring up with those people is that that is a misquote from the study, it's not that the study found you stop developing at that age, it's just when they stopped studying it The study actually showed, as well as further studies have shown, that you actually never stopped developing your prefrontal cortex, and don't even get me started on the rest of your brain chemistry that turns what we like to see as a 2d issue into a messy 4d issue

Unfortunately that's just notallowed anymore I went back to college recently so a lot of my friends are late teens early twenties, and man I hear some hot takes that within their social bubbles they all believe in, but the real world just doesn't agree with For example we sat down one day and we're talking about age gaps, and they were making a huge point about a 30-year-old marrying a 60 year old... Like who the fuck cares they're not a teenager. 60 and 18 would be one thing but when you're 30 …

Yeah going off that second part is I've known some people who have mental processing disorders or social disabilities such as autism or Asperger's who find themselves getting along with younger crowds It's not to say that they don't get along with people their own age, but they definitely gravitate towards younger adults because they match their maturity level

Okay I'm going to be real, and I'm a pretty big supporter of men's rights Calm your dick bro, this isn't the time America by a pretty substantial margin just elected a convicted rapist to the White House who has spent the last 8 years proving to everyone just how much of a sexist, racist piece of shit he is I don't blame women right now for being terrified, I'm pretty terrified
