You know back in the day, men benefited from controlling women through money. And then modern day, it seems like we’ve almost come full circle where women like you have swung so far in the other direction that you’re actually like no let me be the man and provide you with the money minus the oppression part lmao. Tbh idc if you or other women date below you, just wanted to throw out there that yeah, my selfish take is that couldn’t be me. Now, I’m leaving.

Oooh interesting, never encountered this variant of pick me before. But hope these low level expectations for your future partner get you exactly the life you’re asking for lol.

Also seems like there’s a range of ground between prostitute and someone who values status in a partner. Just speaking her language.

A successful man doesn’t just have money, he’s also demonstrated that he has drive, discipline, and follow through - which to me are important traits for raising a family. And women are most likely to stay at home for child rearing so practically it makes sense if he earns more for women who want to have kids. And yeah tbh the money is a pretty nice perk, idk why blue pill women are on the opposite end of the spectrum where marrying broke men is seen as some kinda badge of honor. No amount of ma…

Cope is real. I have a successful enough career and I wanna be with someone who has a similar mindset and work ethic to mine (or an even better one to push and inspire me). I’ve also actually argued on here that women marrying super wealthy men with no fallback is pretty stupid on their part. But you do you homie!

Fantastic tbh. You’re doing the lord’s work if you’re the one who ends up picking up all the NEETS so they finally stop complaining about not finding gfs on here

Cancer rates are up boyyo. And a lot of people are getting it at younger ages these days - heard it’s the plastic and shit food they’re feeding us. Won’t catch me without insurance. And I actually did stop going to that therapist 🫡

Seems defeatist. I paid a therapist a stupid amount of money to tell me to focus on an internal locus of control so here’s me giving that advice to you fo free.

Y’know, maybe there was some validity to the statement “they’re not sending their best.” Because the cognitive dissonance is strong here lmao

Wrong, they all have good careers to afford these things. Not all of them have gfs and at least half are ugly or short.

I actually think it’s less of a men vs women wiring thing and more of a how your parents raised you kinda thing. Most of the men I know love or aspire for nice things like cool cars, cool crib, traveling the world, and going to the music festivals, etc. (all which cost money)

Couldn’t be me, but as long as you’re not burdening others and that lifestyle works out for you, then fair!

Actually curious, but when men say that if they don’t get a family they will stop working, then how would they feed themselves and afford healthcare (which are necessary to stay alive no)? Would they just do the bare minimum to afford rent with 4 roommates and play video games all day till they run into a health issue they can’t pay treatment for because they don’t have a job or would they just burden their older parents to take care of them? For me logically, that still seems worse than having …

Expect them to use versions of this same scenario to spawn a buncha “why do women withhold sex” posts

I don’t think ad hominemin is allowed here so I won’t mention the username but there’s this guy on here who always complains about his gf making him do chores and the other big things about him are that he’s an alcoholic and plays video games all day. Has one dimensional surface level takes on all the topics here but probably believes he’s a big intellectual. And it’s funny that so many guys don’t realize that this is the scenario the majority of miserable women in the west find themselves in (a…

Uh yeah sorry, hard disagree here as a woman. Idk why most of the women in this thread are pushing out the messaging that we are equally attracted to the part time employed pizza delivery guy as the career lawyer/engineer and status does not matter to us. Not only does this make our dating pool worse but it’s also bad for the economy(especially with modern day China in the mix).

Eeeh well I do agree with you if this about like a few decades back where the power imbalance was like career man with wife stuck at home which sucks for the woman. But my one trad take is I think women do want some equally or higher status man than them. Personal anecdote but I’ve seen women like this late 30s woman ik who is divorced and has 2 kids and is very sweet but kinda mid so she ended up marrying a part time chef her own age who pulls in like 1/3rd of the money she does. They’re both v…

Yep def agree. Lot of women disrespect their own husbands that they chose to marry for silly reasons and it’s icky to me as well.

I personally believe the relationships that work best are ones where the men are slightly more “powerful” and the women are slightly more “attractive” of the two. Biologically men are more visual and women care more about resources so this checks out and they both feel like they’ve “won” but it’s also not on extreme ends where all the other gross things happen (like 20 year old having sex with something her grandfather’s age for money or a man being a complete miserable pushover to a woman who i…

If we’re talking about workplace relationships, then this is always disgusting and a big no imo. Nasty all around and very much don’t respect people who get into these things even though they say “ThEyRE 2 CoNSeNTiNG aDuLtz” but don’t think about the precedent that sets that you can fuck your way to the top vs working hard and the fact that the more powerful person can dictate whether you can afford the roof over your head, health insurance for your serious health conditions, or the ability to f…

That’s fair, in my mind I actually don’t mind some toxicity and manipulation (from both sides) in relationships because it keeps me stimulated, invested, and entertained. Withholding sex is like sanctions vs breaking up or divorcing being the nuclear option. Men will never win on this issue because you either won’t have sex because you break up with your sexual partner or you won’t have sex because your sexual partner is withholding it from you. And I do agree that some women do weaponize sex (m…

Yeah this tbh. Either OP has irrational fears that she should get checked out at therapy or (looking through her post history) there’s something her gut is trying to warn her brain about that it’s not ready to hear yet lol.

28 to 35 is not terrible, 28 to 40+ is gross territory. Younger men or men closer to your age will most definitely be more attractive (less bald, wrinkly, fat dad bod, etc) and have less baggage like kids or bitterness towards women through past experiences so you really have to ask yourself what you’re getting out of this. Most probably he’s not attracted to women his age. Coool, so wrinkly old man is attracted to you wow how validating. BUT how long before he trades you in for someone younger …

This, I’ve been a silent lurker on here for years. But I’ve had enough of the pseudo intellectual takes on here. Also going through a bad period in my life so venting online with minimal consequences (vs taking this frustration out on my meaningful relationships irl) helps.

Sorry but any woman can tell you that a man can be a great person to the general public and be a completely different person to his partner. They’re not as related as you think they are and also the reason why you get so many “omg I never thought this could happen, what do you mean he killed his wife he was so nice to everyone!” I’m not sexist, but I don’t necessarily care if you disagree. My entire point is that I don’t think hotness is related to being an asshole. Women care about personality …

Martin Luther king Jr, Andy Byron, Bill Gates, oh and big Jesus guy Andy from next door who’s balding and fat and has 3 kids with a wife of 20 years but can’t stop leering and trying to fuck the younger girls on his block. Buuut you’re right, why can’t girls see that all those DUI guys are terrible and it’s YOU who is the good guy. The guy who comes online and complains about nagging women expecting him to do the bare minimum of chores so he can just play his video games all day and victim blame…

Oh no, women are not innocent little angels. They will date the hot asshole over the ugly asshole oh no boo hoo. Life is so unfair. Ew wait, why is this fat bitch keep trying to get with me on hinge, these stupid whales. And btw, I treat everyone (who deserves it) with respect. But your question isn’t relevant to this debate because we’re talking about romantic connections here, not platonic human interactions.

Nope I’m saying if there’s two guys with the same character depth, then it just makes sense to pick the hotter one.

No one wears a huge sign that says asshole on their face. Like the stupid ass example you always go to of alll these so called men with nazi tattoos getting mad bitches these days. Hot guys are assholes because they have options so will be more selfish and less likely to cater to your needs. Ugly guys are assholes because they have an inferiority complex and will be possessive and toxic and try to tear you down so they can keep you from leaving. It manifests in different ways but again not speci…

The mistake a lot of men on here seem to make is to link hotness and assholeness together for men. In my personal experience the unattractive men are equally assholish but just better at masking given that they can’t make up for their personality with their looks. So as a woman, logically it just makes sense to pick the hotter guy because they’re just as likely to be an asshole as the ugly guy but at least they’re hot.

Yeah, because Chad makes up for it by being Chad. Not a women specific thing but if you have more going for you like being more attractive, richer, or funnier - people are more forgiving of your faults. So yeaah, shocker that broke mid men don’t get the same treatment as the hot rich men.

Except most men expect 50/50 these days but still offload most of the emotional, household, and childcare duties to the women. And then minimize the importance of that unpaid labor so they can claim what a nag she is and bitch about her to their buddies while benefiting from a free roommate bang maid. Yeah no thanks, marrying men these days is setting up yourself for a lifetime of exploitation.

I was talking about the case BEFORE they become single mothers is to choose stable employed men. But then they get called gold diggers for caring about finances.

You forgot one. Ohh single moms are so stupid, why didn’t you pick better. And then you’re like okay I want a stably employed man - and then just wait for their screeching to commence. BETABUXXX OMG she wants betabuxx RREEE

Which is still better than no data so. If there’s multiple women warning you that one guy is terrible, then surely that’s useful info.

If it’s doxxing or slander, then there are legal avenues for the affected party to pursue. So fully agree if either of those things are going on, then the guys should sue them.

This isn’t doxxing? This is basically a private group chat on steroids where women warn other women about bad actors. There’s no addresses or numbers being leaked (which would be against FBs policy and cause the page to be taken down btw) to large audiences with the intent to harass these men. Quit making stuff up.

The audacity of men to whine on here day in and out about how women should choose better. And then when they use apps such as this to choose better, they’re like oh no boooo that’s cheating, you can’t do that, that’s not what we meant boooo.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/25 06:39 PM

Yeah tbh I think men just hate when women have an advantage. Same way that they’re totally fine with SWs who work for pimps but hate the concept of only fans because the women are the ones in control. Yes the tea app was not perfect but it did give women more control on their dating life and that’s what makes them so mad. Also wanna plug that men did make a similar version of the tea app and it got shut down because they started posting nudes on there so.

Why are you infantilizing men
