feminist trans girl here. hi lion's den, how're you? this isn't accurate. the idea of the 'patriarchy' isn't just about men. it's about power differentials. men and women both suffer because the men in power are assholes and power corrupts. the idea is that if power were equalized, we would be better off as a society. that's all. :) also, we care about straight cis guys too. we just hate assholes.
