I guess I have an issue with both extremes - I don't think we should be exposing kids to sexual themes and problems that adults go through, but at the same time, I don't think making it illegal (which forces people that do it to hide their behavior) is right either. Much like you don't go to a women with your emotional issues, perhaps she would be better suited consulting with someone trained to guide her through the difficult place she is in. Those in power have to make sure they stay in power, yeah. But they have to make sure they prop up the bottom enough to make sure their isn't an uprising. I think single payer Healthcare and better social services (like planned parenthood etc) will go a long way towards satisfying those at the bottom. I just can't vote for a party that claims abortions are bad and all life is important, yet as soon as a baby is born claims they don't want anything to do with making sure that baby succeeds.

Agreed. All you really need to spend a few days/nights in the woods are some dried food, water, a tarp, sleeping pad, and a sleeping bag. That being said, if you haven't camped with a lot more than the above to figure out why things like a tent aren't necessary, you aren't ready yet.
