the presence of a hymen, or lack thereof, does not correlate to virginity.

that’s sort of the thing about online platforms. chemistry can’t be gauged from a photo or a bio, and chemistry is everything. our snap judgments on whether or not we’re interested are based on shallow things, because what we’re presented with is our impression of someone. as flat and bleak as that is. i’ve had zero interest in talking to like 80% of the guys who have messaged me on dating apps. either because i don’t find them attractive, or some other arbitrary filtering criteria isn’t met. bu…

i think you’re right. as a woman, i can say my own gender is responsible for most of the beauty standards/body image expectations we, as women, live with. we have programmed ourselves, and each other, to have a very high and unrealistic bar for ourselves and each other. and it’s allllllll bred from insecurity. i’ve never had a man point out or in any way shame me for things like stretch marks, gaining a bit of weight, not being dolled up all the time, or my hair needing to be re-dyed. but i’ve d…

if it was a woman doing it, i would still say she’s being an attention seeking player. careful, your bitterness is showing.

it’s obvious he isn’t interested, which i stated. but the fact that he drops little breadcrumbs here and there means it’s also obvious he’s trying to keep her hooked. i didn’t say that it’s right or wrong, i just answered the OPs question. which is yes, he’s a player, and no, he isn’t genuinely interested.

no one is saying men can’t enjoy sex with women. this dude is sending mixed messages and not being direct though, which is when it becomes an obvious scenario of “conquesting.”

eh, he’s not interested. he’s just trying to keep the door open for when his other conquests fall through. definitely move on sis.

i am not saying that no woman wants to meet a man at work, i said most women don’t like people hitting on them while they’re at work. if she wants to see you again, she will let you know. otherwise, you become the “shiiiit, he’s here again” guy that the female staff members roll their eyes at and flip coins to determine who has to wait on you. i don’t even understand how this is a topic of conversation, but it sure explains all the harassment i’ve gotten at work over the years.

i don’t really care about anecdotal “experiences” from men who hit on a girl at her job and think it went well. i worked as a server and bartender for fifteen years, and it was a rare day in hell where i ever heard a female coworker or industry person say they liked being approached at work. it’s a unanimous consensus that we all hate this. the only times i’ve ever seen that go genuinely well for male patrons is when they have been totally off the charts hot and tipping really well. even so, tha…

one of the most basic “rules of seduction” is not to approach women while they’re working. it tends to make us uncomfortable, and rightfully so.

she isn’t flirting, she’s literally doing her job. 😂 she might find you attractive, i have no idea. you seem pretty set on shooting your shot, so best of luck my dude.

no girl does that job for attention, i promise you.

i worked as a server for a lot of years. leave her alone while she’s at work.

that’s about the best thing you can really do. feeding into her leading questions and comments is only going to make it worse.

start small. if you see her on a monday, ask her how her weekend went. it’s an open-ended question, so the amount of response you get from her will tell you if she’s interested. if she says something like “it was good thanks, how was yours?” she’s probably not interested. if she mentions something she did or leaves the door open, so to speak, those are good signals and you can build on that.

i definitely suggest building rapport with her before making a move. partially because most women don’t like being hit on at their jobs, and you should probably gauge that before creating an awkward situation.

ask specific, thought-invoking questions. people love feeling interesting. “what do you do for fun?” should become “what brings you fulfillment?” etc.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
