oh yeah, but then the issue isn't the label "Cis", which is a label for a naturally occurring phenomenon(as is trans, homo/hetero/bisexual, etc.), but the added "scum". Nothing anyone is born with makes them inherently scum.

One of those examples is a quote of someone else though, and the other starement would sound weird if it went "and the teens were beating on the girl as teens egged them on"(on mobile, can't see the direct quote, but the point is it's weird to label two groups as teens). Having said all that, the point here is if it had been a group of guys, boys would have been used every chance possible.

While there isn't a lot of them, the difference between a cis male and a trans male are fairly significant, that detail can mean the difference between your family caring for you or shunning you. Trans people have horrifying stories of how dysphoria affects their lives, things a lot of cis people wouldn't really think twice about. It may not be needed on day to day interactions, but it's definitely a distinction worth making

you should have seen the shitfest the question "do you have tattoos?" being in my campus's sexual assault survey raised. it couldn't have been an inquiry to whether or not people with tattoos are more at risk, or if their experiences will be more often ignored. no, the only possible interpretation of that question was people with tattoos deserve to be sexually assaulted according to our local feminists...

but they aren't talking about money in the bank/on the credit card, they are talking about earned income. the average women makes less than the average man, but average doesn't equal same... it's no news to us that the wage gap is a myth, but not 3 months ago i had a huge argument and a falling out with a feminist friend over what the wage gap meant. the more we can get people denouncing this undying myth the better.

honestly, it's stupid and petty to actually try to say a gender has such a "privilege" in any country where there isn't a legitimate rape culture(i.e. not U.S. but places like a few countries in the middle east where rape victims might be murdered for coming out as rape victims) my point there was that if we were to go that far and have to pick a gender that indeed benefited from that "privilege", it would definitely not be men(again, talking about western countries).
