She hasn't accused anyone of rape though. I've just seen her talk about other things extremely openly in a way that basically a kid would. I remember her saying her mum had told her to think before she spoke etc. I think she was just being 'edgy'/'funny' really but who knows.

This seems like a very USA centric attitude though. The UK doesn't have widespread gun ownership and suicide rates also much higher in men than women. Other factors are at play. Like how it's basically ten to one for divorced men versus divorced women...no way is that simply due to more lethal methods chosen...that is divorced men feeling like they have no other way out/no strength to carry on.

Jeez...I've just demonstrated in this thread several things you've said which have been categorically wrong and yet still you continue with the BS. Seems you have no shame. Fortunately I trust that people reading will have a similar view of you that I do. Better you let the adults discuss the data and why 9 times as many men take the very sad decision to end their own lives as women after divorce.

To be really clear (so that hopefully you are able to comprehend) in case you aren't just some pathetic troll: 1) I am pointing out, with an example, how what you said here is total BS: "Yes, people who file for divorce do so because they are fed up with the situation and the spouse. SO YOU'RE SAYING MOST MEN ARE AT FAULT FOR THE DIVORCE. You're just proving the point that you're trying to not prove here." SHE was AT FAULT for the divorce, despite filing for it. So p*ss off with your BS generali…

Wtf... SHE was the one who behaved (very!) badly AND initiated the divorce leading him to having these mental health issues. He was one of the most positive people I knew prior to her totally screwing him over, and still is one of the best people I know. I can only assume you're just a dumb troll at this point given your inability to understand anything and just to repeat the same stupid line while ignoring that circumstances have a massive effect on mental health.

What?? Your posts are f'n disgraceful and consistently downplay a very serious issue. You try here to say that women are just fed up of men's bad behaviour...(hence my men bad women good got it sarcasm). Did my friend who's wife cheated on him and left him in lockdown while his mum was dying and is now on antidepressants deserve that? Just his bad behaviour? Face facts you haven't got a bl**dy clue what you're talking about and don't care either. Mental health issues aren't something you either …

^ idiotic internet commentor tries to totally deny/downplay that circumstances affect mental health with 'no no that can't be it something must have already been wrong'. Circumstances play a MASSIVE part in mental health and in suicide risk. Perhaps stick to the topics you're not going to make a fool of yourself on.

Women good, men bad. Cool, got it. You're an idiot.

What a heartless post. Someone posted a link showing that divorced men are 9 times as likely as divorced women to take their own lives (I've seen as high as 15 times in some populations) and you try to minimise it with the above/basically 'victim blame'. Disgraceful. I can tell you right now that campaign groups like fathers for justice do not exist for no reason. Many, many guys get absolutely screwed in custody cases (and divorces in general) and THAT undoubtedly has a huge impact on mental he…

Sorry but that last line is pretty small minded. Like saying I have friends who've smoked and drinked regularly and are 85. We absolutely can learn something from stats. If men are taking their own lives at much greater rates than women (3-4 times), and much higher in divorcees (i believe) then we know societal/circumstantial impacts are at play across the whole of society. I would also say that if it were reversed (with far more women affected) then we would be hearing way more about it.

The meaning is really simple. How many divorced men compared to dicorced women take their lives. If it is so much higher in men (i believe it is) then we know that men are being seriously failed by society.

If whe really just attacked you for posting about men's rights then you're better than her. Losing friends is sad but she's the one in the wrong so maybe time to move on.

I dont like to say it but I see with my mum how she will just nag and nag and nag and bring up things from twenty years ago to deliberately upset my dad if she's unhappy. Blaming him for things where he hadn't done anything wrong. I find that hard to witness sometimes and its probably affected my opinion of women. But then I've witnessed similar in my own relationships. In fact tbh both my relationships it would be fair to say that in ways I would be considered a victim of at least mental abuse …

Well they asked both couples. Nobody can see what goes on inside homes for sure and it will vary by person but this study is 200+ people and won't come as a surprise to many including myself. I believe that on the whole women are more aggressive in their behaviours than men in terms of starting arguments and the more minor physical abuse if it happens. I think that if the man is the abuser then it's generally more physically serious due to the usual size/strength difference.

It's a study ffs. I've been hit by a woman in a relationship btw...that make it more believable for you? Facepalm

True, but its not saying women are just as aggressive as men...its saying they are more aggressive than men. That's s problem.

Completed suicides. 3 times as many men feel their life is so bad that they actually end their life. Anyone who tells me that women have it worse than men in the western world as a group can b*gger off.

For someone who believes cheating is wrong you're going to a lot of effort trying to defend the women boasting about cheating when they get called derogatory names for it. As for the slut shaming thing... it is never going to be 'cool' for women to 'express their sexuality' in ways like this...primarily because for most women getting sex is about as difficult as deciding to take a bath or make a cup of coffee. Not many men want to marry the woman who has ridden half the town.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
