They normally do not call, they send an actual letter in the mail with official letterheads and ask you to call to verify if you have any questions. Our county actually has a jury pool verification online so they can better place or dismiss you before you get to the Court. Also we can check online before getting to Court to see if the case you were supposed to be in the jury for has been settled and cancelled.

If the UBER Driver leaves the property with her in the car some cop and/or Prosecutor could/ will try and charge him with kidnapping. The smartest thing to do is take the keys and leave her sitting, go inside and get Security. The Security Officer actually showed up at the end of the video and if you listen you can hear him tell her to get out of the car but tell the driver he cannot touch her when asked to get her out of the car.
