To say “all the attention” is a bit miss leading. Mens health and especially prostate cancer is what Movember is all about. Prostate cancer is a gorilla disease that is in dire need for more research. But it’s important to understand why particularly breast cancer gathers so much attention. Most cancer treatment are horrible and visible, but unlike chemo, the mestectomy is a much more specific treatment for one type of cancer. This highly visible and horrendous treatment is, in my view, one of t…

No, this is just not correct (except from some few outliers on both sides). If you cheat you’re an asshole, if you don’t think so, you’re an asshole. I have never met a reasonable person who disagree with this.

No, it’s not. Look up FGM.

FGM and a circumcision are not the same. If you think they are remotely compatible, you don’t know how gruesome a FGM is. I am all in favor of banning circumcisions of children . But we can’t talk about the two types as if they are equivalent. They are not. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Female_genital_mutilation?wprov=sfti1

No, these are actually problem women face. Is your being abused by a women, she is a problem. However, stating that this trades are only used against men are just false and is not contributing to any cause.

This also better for moms in the work place. If they take the same leave there’s no difference between expecting moms and dads searching for and getting promoted for jobs.

If you saved a guy by suddenly grabbing him, you would do the exact same motion,

So it’s ok to charge men more for car insurance since men are more prone to be involved in accidents?

The fact that this comment has negative votes brings shame to this sub. How can anyone see this and think it’s oppression on men.

This girl said yes to having free drinks, that’s different from having drinks. This guy is and asshole. If he did it to another guy he would be an asshole. If a girl did this to a guy, she would be an asshole. This is not what this subreddit is about. This belongs on r/tumblrinaction.

But why is it Bumble sexist? If you want to start a chat, use tinder. There is no one forcing you to use it and there are plenty of other offers. I would actually quite like to have the girl start the chat, for me this is an alternative service. As we say to the feminist movement “Pick your battles” this isn’t one we should take.

I'm not defending male circumcision, i'm pointing out the difference. There is a reason FGM is illegal, it's horrific. There is no incidents where circumcision even gets close to the wurst kind om FGM. A difference in amount is a difference in kind. The problem is that there is almost no form of FGM that has the same low level of impact as male circumcision. And yes, i am aware that i don't use the word female circumcision, because that implies that it's the same, low risk low impact as male cir…

She is most likely referring to female genitalia mutilation that's occurring in Africa (it's not really a thing in the western world). It can't really be compered to male circumcision, at least males genitalia remains functioning and or gives pleasure during sex. Peace reed some of this Wikipedia link if you are gong to response, because i would agree with you if i didn't know how horrible it is. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Female_genital_mutilation

To be honest there is a big difference between male and female genitalia circumcise. I normally don’t agree with feminists, however this is an exemption.

A better way to look at it: The stairs are easy and cheep to construct, however they take longer and makes it harder to reach the top. The escalator on the other hand is harder and more expensive to build, but makes it easier to get to the top. This is like compering a degree in engineering vs social science. Engineering is harder and more expensive, and in return, set one up to achieve greatness in life easier.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
