Sorry bro, you’re just not very good apparently

Sorry for the arseholes replying to you thus far. Truth be told, you’re gonna have to pull up your own socks and tell him what the fuck you think of his lazy ass. Fuck, show him this, what do you have to lose really? Ram the red pill down his throat, he’ll either choke it back up and sob about how you’re him (which makes my skin crawl) or he’ll sort his fucking shit out and be a real man.

Well damn, dunno what to say on the floor situation then! Your best bet is to probably wait for lulls in people at the bar and send your girl out to collect glasses as rapid as she can (Unless you’re on plastic for the night?). Alternatively ask the door men to muck in as they’re doing rounds. Either way, don’t run out of glasses haha

Awesome, they’re your boys for the night - use ‘um! They’ll have your back, stay talking to them throughout the night 👌 And good luck, running a bar can be fun as shit on a busy night! Oh that’s a point, do you have floor staff or just the two of you?

Have you got door men? Make sure you’re communicating with them if you have. ID ID ID. ID! Keep a third eye on the atmosphere, you’ll know if you’ve got trouble brewing by the atmosphere. Keep communicating with your other bartender. Need something? Ask. Lost something? Ask. Communication is key! Treat your customers well, smile and be friendly and apologise if there’s a wait to serve. Don’t take any shit though, you’re in charge. If someone’s had too much, make it clear they aren’t being served…

Yeah I worded that poorly. I mean a mans love for a woman is stronger and more flexible, above imperfections and slights, but it can be stressed to breaking point (Infidelity, violence etc.)

I mean shit, I both agree and disagree. I firmly agree about the transcendental, the spiritual etc. but that itself is the road block. In the ever more disconnected reality of our world we are straying further and further from our true selves, our connections, our love. And in that reality, the one in which I live a majority of my life, I have to act. I can’t smoke DMT and say ‘I want to live in that one’ because 99% of the rest of the population are still plugged into bizzaro world drinking the…

Note: not all lessons, probably not a majority in fact. There’s some good lessons on self squirrelled away in the Bible, couldn’t really comment on the Quran to be honest. Greek mythology is especially poignant in the circus we have to get through these days. I dunno, it’s subjective at the end of the day. If you don’t personally take anything away from them, that’s not a problem at all, there’s a metric fuck ton of reading material that suits us all

There are good lessons taught by religion that can be applied to red pill, throwing it out with the bath water seems like a waste

I don’t think this sub needs to settle on one goal as a collective, hell, that would be counterintuitive, right? I think it needs to be down to the individual to separate what the advice is getting at from what their goal is. Of course, there’s a limit - the advice has to be red pilled otherwise it dilutes the discourse.

Meh, I feel like there’s good parallels to draw when it’s examined in an objective way. I’d disagree with the conclusion of the OPs post given that it bends back towards sacrifice for the idea of a mutual endeavour. The problem being, there is no guarantee the sacrifice and endeavour will always be mutual. Disregarding valuable lessons from thousands of years of learning and growing because the fundament of those teachings is based on appeasing a ghost doesn’t sit right with me. The same lessons…

Hey so I just watched the film after your comment, I’d never seen it. The closing scene made the red pill stick in my throat, I’ve recently just broken up with my LTR and the film reiterated my decision but it was only post-LTR that I actually looked into TRP. I suppose it made me want to deny the truth just now and scared me a bit... anyway, thanks for the hint towards the film. Good watch.

If anything, the red pill has introduced me to the individual school of thought. While I agree that AWALT, that doesn’t mean the possibility of a loving relationship has evaporated. It just means that I have to stay aware of myself, the investment doesn’t become the relationship, the investment will always be me and by proxy the relationship. It isn’t ‘nice’, it is calculated. It isn’t ‘love’ as Disney would have you believe, it is ‘love’ as we both offer happiness to one another through our val…

The thing I don’t understand is, having taken the red pill, this is all so apparent, yet I feel like I’m the radical one. This is all cut and dry information, that if anyone took anything more than a cursory glance at would say ‘Oh yeah... I guess you’re right!’ When they compare it to what’s going on out there.

Unless I’ve complicated the final point, there isn’t a mutual foundation of spiritual love that exists in our world. A man will love a woman unconditionally (to a point) but a woman will always be evaluating his worth by comparing his assets and achievements against his peers. The idea of a mutual struggle against the chaos of our existence is a concept a man will espouse, but it is an abstract a woman has no use for and thus won’t live by.

Self reflection is a good first step! Reevaluate, accept, put in the effort for you, reap the rewards later on! Of course, I’m a fucking hypocrite and I’m on the same steps. It’s all good man, we’re all here for the same reasons - just don’t do it again ;) haha

Nah I came on too strongly with that reply and that’s my bad. I get it dude, it’s noticing the nature of things and, shit, I’ve been there too! Keep at it, take the things you’re noticing, don’t be angry about them or cynical. Just know they are truths and turn them to your advantage!

Fair. I get your point. To sink your teeth into it a bit more, try taking it a step further and make her earn your validation. Don’t just give her attention for free, even if that is just looking at her.

Here's a tidbit you might find enlightening: We know how it makes us look to people on the outside. We don't care. Why don't we care? Because the theory applies and works in the real world. Like I said earlier you can't stop 1+1 being 2. We don't say the worst things about women, we look at the objective reality of the female (and male) nature and dissect it to come to a conclusion. For some, the conclusion might appear to be radical, but how radical can it be when it can be applied to the real …

No, 'they' aren't. As I said in a reply to this comment chain, some are, but most aren't. There will always be examples that you can cherry pick to suit your argument, same applies to my argument as well. You can't just say "That's how we know it's not working". What isn't? Teaching men how to be the best version of themselves they can be? Teaching men the underlying psychology of women when it comes to dating? Teaching men that society has stacked the deck against them? The same people are in t…

But that’s where your own judgement has to come in. There was a post on askTRP that started by them calling a woman a dumb hoe - that post goes straight to being disregarded because they’ve shown they have nothing worth saying in less than three words. It’s like eating a nice meal, I’m enjoying the meal and their is good value in it but by my own judgement I’m not going to keep eating beyond the point where I am full. Equally if someone turns up and puts something I don’t like on the plate, I’m …

The rules still apply, she could still be finding her excitement elsewhere (her being fat doesn’t immediately rule her out of hypergamy: AWALT). If he drops his game and loses respect for himself because he feels ‘safe’ in his marriage then he’s opened himself up for a fall. Doesn’t matter if she’s an obese pig, he shouldn’t be reflecting that back at her because she will see his failings wayyyy before her own.

RP 101 is literally to distinguish the differences between men and women. Physiological, psychological etc. Yes women are people, but humans aren’t exempt from sexual dimorphism and the better we understand those differences, the easier it is to learn how to communicate with each other effectively. I used to think RP was a misogynistic hive of crazies. Then I actually went there and applied all of their truths to my reality, and you can’t stop 1+1 being 2.

One of the top comments is a call for mandatory paternity tests, on the surface I think it’s a good idea but something about it seems unsettling. Maybe it’s the bloopie crying about the sad truth of why it would be required... yeah that’s probably it.

What came first, the chicken or the egg? If a guy gets fat because the woman doesn’t value him... well then he’s put too much stock in her opinion and needs to straighten himself out regardless. If she’s lost attraction to him because he’s gotten fat? Same rules apply.

Dude, come on. This is BP mentality all over. 1.5mil people and you’re upset about one girl? You’ve come here looking for an answer and it’s not the one you want. That’s the bitter red pill I’m afraid. You either take it for the benefit of yourself or don’t. It doesn’t make a difference to me. What you had is done, you fucked it. Improve yourself and don’t worry about the girls, what you’re doing right now is only damaging yourself further by worrying about the girl and not worrying about yourse…

I don’t have oneitis, but also she will be the one that got away. Bro, you fucked the power dynamic. You can’t crawl back from it. Move on. She’s not a unicorn. She’s just another girl. I’m right there with you though, just last month I fucked up a good LTR my letting myself go. I have and continue to struggle with the idea that I can wrestle the LTR back by reframing myself - but there is NO way to do that. The frame is broken and you will only ever be faking it in her eyes. Your best bet is to…

I’d say opening with a compliment like ‘you’re sexy’ etc. Makes your intentions very clear so is a good opener by default. This guys game isn’t perfect, but he’s actually doing something which puts him in a different bracket from the beginning.

Great read, I’m relatively new and I’m trying to wrap my head around the theory of TRP and coupled with your links this is the most I’ve understood how to internalise the ideas. In regards to frame, the other day I was on a coach and a girl was sat in front, from boarding I had noticed she was fairly cute. I attempted to get her number, on the basis that I could try and I wasn’t actually fussed if I did get the number or not, I was focused on the attempt. Is that maintaining frame?

I'm here because somewhere along the way I lost how to talk to women and be attractive. It's like forgetting how to ride a bike. Some people don't forget though and it all comes naturally!

There is a massive disparity between a heart shaped hand gesture and love my good man! Fall in love by all means, but don't get hung up on a simple hand gesture from her.

I could tell you the text means one of two things, but it would just be conjecture on my behalf... So instead I'll say next time be more touchy and make sure she knows it's not just a 'fun' night out.

You didn't read it all then, it's about building yourself into a better person through the way you hold yourself and the way you approach women right through to how to make the said women feel incredible which in turn makes you feel incredible. Your first mistake was writing yourself off and then using the book designed to help you against that to do exactly that!
