Guess I'm joining this group for the 2nd time.So true. I am taking what I've experienced here, and will work on turning it around. I want to be a better person. I just feel bad for the damage and heartbreak I've caused. And, no, no third time. First one was a fluke, and this one was my doing. I'm owning this, and will not blame her. Thanks, dude. | /r/Divorce_Men | 25/05/23 01:52 AM
Does it ever get better with a narcissist?5 years out for me. Nope. | /r/Divorce_Men | 25/03/23 04:34 AM
Can anyone share with me what it’s like to not spend the holidays with your kids, like thanksgiving and Christmas? It's been 6 years of this for me. It gets more numb, not easier. At least for me. | /r/Divorce_Men | 20/11/22 06:30 AM
How do I not let my feelings towards my ex affect my children?YES. I can agree with this from experience. Still trying to mend the relationship with my daughter after the divorce 4 years ago, and the shit the led to that, and everything after. | /r/Divorce_Men | 10/01/22 09:03 PM
My STBX is a narcissist, she filed a restraining order on me today...DM me, too, if you want. I see this is late, but been through that, also. | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/06/21 11:02 PM
What I've learned from this sub so farWhich sub, if I may ask? Dealing with a narc ex, who is successfully getting our kids on her side. Could use some pointers, as it's been a rough 5 years. | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/06/21 07:25 PM
Almost sock day and I just got more interesting news. Kind of feeling like crap.My ex pulled some similar shit. My daughter doesn't really talk to me, as she lives with her mom. My son also loves with them, but he is an adult and hasn't shown any animosity towards me. Been like this for 5 years. I would love to say it gets better, but I don't know; it's not a definite. When I was making progress with my daughter, her mom would say something, and my daughter would pull away again. It's a shitty game played by shitty people. All we can do is try to play along like an adult pl… | /r/Divorce_Men | 14/05/21 05:22 AM
Dads post divorce, how often do you talk to your kids other than during your parenting time?Admittedly, some fathers do give up on their children. Unfortunately, in the state I was divorced in (Nebraska), doesn't see this as an issue; it's almost guaranteed that fathers there will get screwed, no matter what. Even when the father initiates the divorce, default judgement seems to go in favor of the mother. My kids are a few states away. Its been drifting away for a while now. 3-4 days between texts from them, don't want to talk, etc. Their mom doesn't help, either. She's more worried ab… | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/09/19 02:28 PM
