Look at Brock Turner, whose sentencing judge saw him as a promising young athlete. I actually think we have a bigger definitional problem than anything else. Reporting people is tricky for anyone doing it. It's not just men victims that get discredited or face reprisal. And discredidation and reprisal is wrong for every victim, but you're right that men victims probably deserve special consideration. As a feminist, I would call the dismissal of the rape of men a definite part of general rape culture. The flip side is that men are supposed to always want it, and are encouraged to push boundaries with women.
