Personally I would be concerned about the 22 year old whether it was a man or a woman. I suppose the conversation tends to be about young women with old men because it is more common.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/25 07:25 PM

Yeah social media helped a ton. I have seen it myself even as a younger person. Women online telling each other that it is completely fine to stay single, that settling is more sad and desperate than any kind of achievement. So indeed, the bulk of the de-stigmatisation of staying single as a woman appears to be pretty damn recent.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/25 05:48 PM

This is all ages, correct? Not only young working couples? Am I mistaken that it was common for women to be stay at home mothers in the US one generation ago, and still to some extent today?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/25 05:33 PM

Sorry, I misread your post. I thought you said that said men make 150% more than women, not 150% the salary of women. Given the wage gap, and that it doesn't include the cases in which women make more, plus the trend towards egalitarian marriages, it appears that my initial statement that hypergamy is exaggerated is also true in the US.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/25 05:29 PM

Ah so you didn't understand the numbers. That 60% refers to their share of the total household earnings, not a comparison ratio to the other spouse. Interesting choice of article btw. <image>
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/25 05:09 PM

If we are talking anecdotes anyway, ime men and women are interested in getting into committed relationships, and they do. Companionship is great for men and women, as long as you find someone you're actually compatible with.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/25 05:03 PM

Pretty recently I'd say. I have a couple of older cousins, and they experienced pressure to "settle down". They are in their 30s now.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/25 04:59 PM

I am speaking from a wester European perspective. 'Still. I was curious about the 150% bit so I looked it up and I couldn't find anything even close to that? I suppose the US could have some larger gaps since mothers are more likely to leave their jobs and become full time parents, but from what I have understood that has become less common with the increased cost of living?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/25 04:56 PM

I can't speak for where you live, but in western Europe it is statistically true, whether or not it aligns with your anecdotal experiences.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/25 04:46 PM

Personally, yes. I want a partner, not a parent.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/25 04:35 PM

Statistically, men and women tend to date people with similar educational and financial status. Hypergamy is highly exaggerated.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/25 04:34 PM

I am not just talking about emancipation, but the overwhelming social pressure. It wasn't long ago that a woman would be seen as a failure if she was single past a certain age. Practically everyone was expected to find a SO, get married, have kids, the whole shebang. People internalised that and made choices accordingly, even if it meant massively compromising on attraction,
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/25 04:32 PM

It is pretty self explanatory. More women simply settled for men they were not into in the past. As I already said, external pressure is finally going away. Thus, women prefer staying single to settling.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/25 04:23 PM

Not really. It is more that women aren't compelled by external pressures to settle anymore. Today women are pursuing men that they are actually interested in, as opposed to just a man to fill a role.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/25 04:11 PM

Thoughts on Macron and Brigitte?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/25 04:02 PM

That seems to be the norm in film lately. Still, I can enjoy it if the aesthetic is good.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/25 10:01 PM

Haven't seen it, but I heard it lacks the nuance of the book, in that it simply portrays Victor Frankenstein as the villain, and the creature as the victim. The book is critical of both, and society more broadly. It's crazy impressive that Mary Shelley wrote it when she was 18!
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/25 02:49 PM
1

Maybe so. I prefer to keep things simple, but not.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 11:48 AM
0

So you are unable to provide a single example? Interesting.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 11:44 AM

Oh, you'll know. I can't speak for casual, but at least in a relationship setting, you will not doubt her lust for you if it's there.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/25 02:12 PM

Idk. I only ever dated people with a lot of options. I think settling is a bad plan though.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/25 02:08 PM

I suppose a major difference is that sex toys for men are often less useful during sex. A vibrator can enhance sex by providing clitoral stimulation alongside PIV, meanwhile you cannot really add a fleshlight to the mix, as far as I can imagine anyway. I guess the exception is anal toys, but so many men are sceptical of those. As for what a guy wants to do solo, idgaf.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/25 02:05 PM

Not a fan. It rarely looks good in person and I think we should be more relaxed about aging.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/25 01:58 PM

How convenient, that anyone with contradictory experiences are all wrong. If it is convenient, it must be so,
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/25 01:57 PM
2

Could you provide an example and tell me how common you think it is, and why?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/25 01:55 PM

It's pretty funny how you only engage with those you agree with. very mature.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/25 01:16 PM
2

I am not saying bad encounters don't happen. I am saying they are rare, and therefore interesting enough to spark engagement and getting pushed in your feed above anything more commonplace.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/25 01:14 PM
2

People don't post online about their chill and pleasant experiences. It isn't engagement worthy, so naturally tiktok etc isn't going to reflect reality.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/25 01:02 PM
3

Ok, fair.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/25 01:01 PM

I disagree. It is better to wait for something good than to settle for something ok. If you want longevity and not just a fling, compatibility is crucial. That doesn't mean incompatible people are bad people or even bad options. One reason could be that one wants kids and the other doesn't. Both of those are valid, neither is wrong or bad. They could be perfect for each other outside of that one thing, but that one thing is too significant to pair up.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/25 01:00 PM

A/any boyfriend is rarely the goal.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/25 12:49 PM
6

A lot of issues definitely stem from a lack of going outside. The real world is indeed pretty chill.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/25 12:28 PM

How unfortunate. Fillers have gone too far. Pillow faces everywhere! Since I model I have been strictly "forbidden" from getting fillers. Not that I would want to, but I see more and more people getting it done, younger and younger.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/25 12:25 PM

Nose filler is a thing now?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/25 12:07 PM

Silly girl.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/25 02:50 PM

Did she dump you?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/25 02:40 PM

I thought it was last week because the black Friday sales have been going on forever already. Such a scam atp.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/25 02:40 PM
2

Interesting. Women only ever touched me platonically (unless we were dating ofc), meanwhile men unfortunately seem unable to keep their hands to themselves. I live in a major western European city.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/25 02:35 PM

How odd.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/25 02:33 PM

That is weird af and not ok. Fortunately I can't relate. Is it maybe cultural? Where do you live?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/25 01:16 PM

For most, I imagine so.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/25 10:22 PM

I don't think so. It has a particular rep for exceptionally horny people.

Ok, but who's on tinder in 2025?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/25 09:14 PM

A couple of hours is still brave imo.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/25 06:57 PM

You must be fun at parties.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/25 03:27 PM

I mean, who wants a man who can't dance?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/25 03:04 PM

Yes.

She better have been cool af or I am offended.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/25 03:01 PM

Lmao that was a pretty short lived trend, wasn't it? I didn't hop on the train, but there was so much about it on tiktok for a bit.

Wait who? Gimme the tea.

I just imagined that lazy town purple villain dude popping out from behind a tree 😭
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/25 01:29 PM

I'm an active participant. That said, I do get approached more than men, so I don't have to initiate if I don't want to.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/25 01:17 PM

I think the "why" can be an important discussion, regardless of gender.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/25 01:15 PM
2

People are so based this year. So far half of my friends and family have asked for charity donations for christmas.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/25 01:13 PM
5

My opinion from was (and is) that you're allowed to have preferences on this topic. All that matters is that you match with someone with compatible ideas. I also thought it's pointless to waste energy shitting on people who don't match your preferences. That said, I have found the aforementioned triggered rambles a lil entertaining. Does that count?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/25 01:11 PM
3

Is this common?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/25 01:06 PM

I think this hypothetical was created by someone who's never been hiking. Hikers are the nicest.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/25 12:56 PM

Mixed friend groups are the best. Not just gender, but nationality, age, professions etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/25 12:34 PM

That's understandable. Our bubbles are so small that age, we often don't even notice some of our peers.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 03:52 PM

Ime it can happen much faster, but naturally the bond gets stronger with time.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 03:50 PM

I suppose what I mean by life partner first and foremost is having that one person who you would call before anyone else. Someone you plan your life around, someone you share the daily highs and lows with, big and small. Someone to make the pleasures in life even better and someone to lean on in times of hardship, both ways ofc.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 03:27 PM
1

(I know, but I was being facetious)
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 03:24 PM

Can I ask how old you are?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 03:24 PM

Making friends was definitely easier in school when you have the framework that forces you to spend time together consistently. As an adult I have found that you have to build that framework yourself, of you never move past an acquaintance stage.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 03:23 PM

Interesting. I have yet to make an online connection translate irl.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 03:22 PM

Have you tried to seek out friendships with people you can relate to better?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 03:21 PM

That's nice! Building new circles after moving is challenging for many.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 03:20 PM

Struggling to date in high school is so normal though. Half of us were awkward as fuck haha
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 03:19 PM

Sure, but even if it is a limited period of your life, they are a life partner at that point.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 03:18 PM

I'm curious, how many of you struggling romantically also struggle making and maintaining friendships?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 12:46 PM

What do men in relationships get? A life partner, companionship, love. I don't do hookups, and that isn't unusual. I would never be with someone I didn't find exciting as I have no incentive to settle.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 11:05 AM
1

Do you actually think a man unable to meet people irl would be successful on the apps?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 10:54 AM
1

The men I know who date irl do better than the ones relying on apps. I would never recommend a male friend to get on the apps if he wants a gf. The apps feel like a meat market, and people are treated as such. Irl you can win someone over with your wit, your shared values and interests, your skills, your charm.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 10:53 AM
2

Yes, they do. Imagining her with some hypothetical hotter man.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 10:47 AM
2

Yes.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 10:47 AM
4

Nah, but also I don't use the apps as a woman either. Meeting irl is beyond better.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/25 08:52 PM
3

They literally have sexual fantasies about "Chad".
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/25 05:45 PM

You're already doing great. Feeling down yet not succumbing to bed rotting? You deserve back pats.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/25 01:57 PM

Put on some music and make something with your hands. A meal from scratch, holiday decorations, painting, wood carving, whatever you like. Even better if you invite a friend to join you.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/25 01:54 PM

Don't worry. Most of us would never settle for less than the best. Fantastic sex is definitely a requirement, not a bonus.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/25 01:52 PM
1

Just sharing my observations. Believe me or not. Up to you.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/25 04:10 PM
1

Women irl aren't shifting on men. They just aren't thinking about men very much.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/25 02:40 PM
0

I don't see gender war irl where I live.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/25 08:20 PM
2

I think it's largely a matter of women having less personal incentive to approach. When I was single I cared less about finding someone than my male counterparts did, and I think that may be generally true, at least to some extent.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/25 08:19 PM

Lmao where the fuck do you live where this is average?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/25 01:38 PM

Don't be a pussy.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/25 01:37 PM

It is still unusual. I personally don't know anyone that size. I occasionally see someone that big, but it's not a common sight (big european city).
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/25 01:37 PM

<image> Is this skinny to you?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/25 01:05 PM

She's dead.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/25 12:52 PM

Damn. I'll stick with spf and hope for the best. Good for them though!
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/25 11:57 AM

Oh yeah??? Well you lick pussy! That guy is honestly hilarious.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/25 11:56 AM

Is he guy who freaked out when some girl mentioned his wife's "baby daddies"?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/25 11:53 AM

That is an incredibly brutal surgery. He has problems, poor dude.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/25 11:51 AM

Wait, do fat people not wrinkle?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/25 11:49 AM

He just misses his mommy, poor thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/25 02:57 PM

Certainly ;)
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/25 02:44 PM

Awesome. I am going to see Lady Gaga tonight!
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/25 02:40 PM

I wonder how many bots there are on tiktok. I never post anything and yet I get flooded with follow requests all the time. Suspicious.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/25 01:46 PM

Respect.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/25 01:33 PM

Indeed, but have you tried Choléra?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/25 12:44 PM

Isn't that just american?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/25 10:43 AM

And women typically take care of children, the sick and the elderly. We all need each other. Nobody said otherwise. That doesn't mean we all have to pair up romantically though.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 08:58 PM

God forbid.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 08:56 PM

Nice! The best plans I know are company plans. My friend pays less than 10 a month for unlimited.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 08:53 PM

There are many ways to find joy. I think that's a good thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 08:41 PM

If that's for unlimited data, that's a good deal.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 08:38 PM

You pay 130 dollars per month??? I pay around 20. Maybe you guys should revolt.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 08:34 PM

Are you american perchance? In most of europe you have a social safety net by default, you don't need a car, and you don't get discounts on phone bills because you have a bf/gf(???) anyway. Instead of coupling up to shield ourselves from increasing wealth inequality, perhaps we should do something about the aforementioned wealth inequality? It'll catch up anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 07:22 PM

Mister, I am a bloody socialist. You need not lecture. I am simply trying to stay on topic and disputing romantic relationships as the only current option for stable housing.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 07:10 PM

I agree and disagree. Living alone is hard to sustain, yes, but romantic relationships aren't the only solution. Communal living for non-students is increasing in popularity, and it is already totally normal to live with one or multiple friends as a proper adult, in much of the world. We should definitely address increasing economic inequality, but that's a different discussion.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 07:08 PM

This comment is so reddit.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 06:59 PM

We are talking about consensual romantic relationship formation, my dude, not the ownership of the means of production.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 06:50 PM

Oh yeah. We are constantly evolving socially, and I do by no means believe that this is the end point, nor in an end point. Still, women my age (university) seem overall very relaxed about dating and relationships, no rush, no swearing off men, just taking things as they come and focusing on a number of things that fulfil them.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 06:44 PM
1

It doesn't seem to be more common than 10-20 years ago. If anything people are fucking later and a bit less.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 06:40 PM

Nice strawman.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 06:38 PM

Like my weird uncle. How times have changed.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 06:35 PM

Oh don't pretend you don't like getting nasty.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 06:28 PM

Well aren't you lovely.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 06:23 PM

I tried already in elementary school when I pointed out a boy and announced that he was my boyfriend. We held hands and everything.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 06:22 PM

Unfortunately, cooties are kinda cute.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 06:16 PM

In the 2000s my mother got shit for waiting to have kids until she was more established in her career, so yes.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 06:12 PM

Elaborate on what you mean by that.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 06:05 PM

Exactly. Some women had to choose between deep poverty and dangerous vulnerability, or a man she didn't really fancy but who could provide a safe and stable life. Women were forced to center men for generations, passing down from mother to daughter that a woman's value lies in being an attractive prospect, a good wife and mother, because that was realistically how to survive. Of course after all of that, readjusting took some time.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 06:03 PM

Housemates are increasingly common. Also, renting has been normal in most of the world since "forever".
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 05:56 PM

What a silly thing to say. I am obviously not talking about women being in danger of being beaten for their singleness, but simply about social stigma, which tends to influence behaviour. Being single and childless was largely seen as failure for women up until recently. Do you disagree?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 05:50 PM

I read an interesting article about how music taste is formed differently in men and women. They found that men typically develop their taste in their early-mid teens, and stick with it for the rest of their lives. Meanwhile women typically developed their taste in their late teens, and then it continued developing and changing for the rest of their lives. It reminded me of that graph showing how women's preference in a man's age keeps rising along with their her own aging, whilst men stay stuck…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 05:48 PM

Men didn't become more undesirable. Men became optional. Truly optional. Not only legally, but socially. It hasn't been long since women needed men in order to simply open a bank account. But even after that, the stigma against single women was so strong that it took a while for relationships to be truly optional. Only in recent years has it become a neutral thing, where being single and being in a relationship are both considered valid options.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 05:39 PM

Ok, I can see that. I have a korean friend who she says she would never date in korea again. She says it is the opposite of romantic, and cheating is normalised.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 04:22 PM

Fair enough. I have a western european perspective, so that may or may not apply elsewhere. Which countries are you thinking of?

I just sleep with someone if I want to sleep with them. That takes me more than a date and it has never been a problem. This is a non-issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 01:24 PM

I hope it works out fast. Bad hair days are such a mood kill.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 12:23 PM

Sunk-cost fallacy. Just divorce.

Stats still show that most people are dating. I'm in uni, so I'm the age that should see a fucked up dating world, and yet my peers are fine.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 12:08 PM

When you are underweight you attract more men, BUT it's the worst kind of men. Creepy men who are attracted to fragility and defencelessness. Saturday night I was having drinks with some girlfriends when a man walked up to me, wrapped his hand around my arm and literally told me "I could just snap you, couldn't I?" with a big grin. Nasty motherfucker. Fortunately my friends got him kicked out.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 11:49 AM

I gosh. Fucking with home bleaching is scary. I guess you might have to settle for a new salon and cross your fingers.

This is such a chronically online take. Most people are dating. People are getting married. Later yes, which is a good thing because very young marriages have higher divorce rates.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 11:41 AM

What did you do?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 11:37 AM

No second date for you.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 11:35 AM

He's nasty. He tattooed Rihanna's battered face on his neck.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 11:28 AM

I know Brad Pitt because of the Interview With The Vampire film. Old films are so moody, I love it.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 11:27 AM

It is weird. I haven't had time to remember your name yet.

Anecdotally, I have noticed that men who don't look down on these women, who show empathy for them, also do not use such "services", and they're romantically successful. Could it be resentment for feeling like he can only get intimacy if he pays for it? Or perhaps only men capable of dehumanising women are able to become johns?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/25 11:50 AM

jesus christ...
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/25 11:46 AM

I want the cat lifestyle..
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/25 11:27 AM

Just be more clever about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/25 11:26 AM

You can look into what vegan body builders eat, since plant based protein is cheaper.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/25 11:23 AM

I don't think people actually believe in this? I have only heard about it in films and other media, never from people discussing relationships irl. Similar to disney "and they lived happily ever after". Sweet idea, but people know better.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/25 11:19 AM

I think a major one for me would be creative pursuit, working in the arts. My partner is a pretty successful poet, and I find that passion and dedication hot af.

There are plenty of autistic people in relationships. Beyond that, not being paired up doesn't mean you don't deserve to exist, nor that there aren't other means of happiness. You're severely lacking in nuance and empathy, what you are saying is extreme, and quite frankly ridiculous.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/25 01:36 PM

You are projecting. Men are much more diverse and complex than you give them credit for.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/25 12:32 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/25 12:31 PM

Tell that to the boys who bullied me for being the quiet girl. Also it is interesting how some of you always bring things back to the ability to get pussy. Yes, men are more desperate and will fuck nearly anyone. How is that relevant to this conversation?

Feminism isn't about offering pathways to obtaining women. It is about women's rights, including a woman's right not to choose you. Men should support feminism if they care about human beings, similarly, white people should be against racism. It is basic human decency.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/25 10:25 AM

What are we debating here? This isn't advice I personally would give, nor is it the advice I hear given from women to men irl.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/25 10:16 AM

That makes sense. I speak three, and two regularly in my everyday life, so I don't have one clear dominant language.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/25 10:00 PM

Ahh alright. That sounds more relatable. Maybe one reason my monologue is more muddled is that I speak multiple languages, so how would I even choose in which language to think daisy?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/25 09:54 PM

Interesting. Maybe if I thought more in coherent words I would be a better writer.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/25 09:46 PM

I'd describe it as more abstract and conceptual than an internal monologue. I never have a single line of thought, even if I am thinking about something more verbally. Honestly, the idea of a single line of thought sounds claustrophobic.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/25 09:20 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/25 01:49 PM

Oh I get that, but since relationships have been optional for a while now (at least in some cultures), it is about time that certain men grasp that you actually have to make your partner happier to be considered an option. That or get left behind.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/25 01:23 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/25 01:20 PM

Sure, but it is unfathomable to me that an adult can be so clueless in the first place. My teenage "first love" had better basic skills and understanding than these grown men.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/25 01:16 PM
0

Ahh alright. Thanks for clarifying. Tbh it still makes zero sense, because all the "love languages" are just basic things you do if you love someone, so a lack of any indicates to me that there are deeper issues.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/25 01:11 PM
1

Someone confirmed. And yeah, the terms have become incredibly wide spread, but I always found it silly to simplify love like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/25 01:10 PM
12

It is strange how they don't even consider that the lack of sex might be because the physical intimacy offered isn't good in the first place. Women don't dislike sex. They're uninterested in bad sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/25 01:02 PM
8

Thanks!
/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/25 01:00 PM

Weren't the "love languages" created by a christian man, with the explicit aim of guilting women into having more sex with their husbands?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/25 12:52 PM
5

Indeed. There is a grain of truth to many things, but it is dragged out to such ridiculous proportions that nobody who spends a decent amount of time outside, observing real, normal couples, can take it seriously.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/25 12:03 PM

I am pretty sure people who call themselves bluepill simply do it in opposition to redpill ideology. They are not going along with the metaphor, because they disagree with the initial premise that what redpilles believe is actually true.

/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/25 01:02 PM

You sounds kinda paranoid tbh. I know you said no therapy, but not all therapy is the same, and it seems to me like it is at a point of being debilitating. You don't have to feel this way, and it is easier to change your thought patterns with support.

You know, there is some truth to the "you have to love yourself first" thing that people say, as well as "a people pleaser pleases no one". Insecurity makes people uncomfortable. It is like that indecisive person who refuses to say what they want to eat. "Anything is fine", they say, but it clearly isn't. They makes us feel uneasy and frustrated, even resentful. People who know themselves, who know what they're about, what they want, who are comfortable expressing themselves, make us feel at eas…

Agree to disagree. Her body is fire, and of course she is slender, she's a model. She would be more curvy if she weighed more, alas that isn't the beauty standard, although you're of course free to have your own preferences, but calling it unattractive is actually stupid.

/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/25 01:29 PM

Honestly? A lot. I only date for long term, so naturally I have a lot of criteria's for a potential life partner. A lot of it is based on my personal preferences, so I don't think making a list will be of much use. But as others have already said, first and foremost, they need to make life better than remaining single.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/25 01:19 PM

In my experience, absolutely, and I have lived in multiple european cities. I don't think it is too soon. You put more weight on exclusivity perhaps. It is only fair to focus on one person at a time and give them a solid chance.

Honestly, that's already leaps better.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/25 11:25 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/25 10:52 AM

It really isn't. You guys are just weird. And having a conversation about exclusivity is something people stop doing after middle school "do you want to be my boyfriend/girlfriend?" It is actually hilarious that you guys do that, fully grown up.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/25 10:51 AM

I do feel for virgin men over 25. I don't know a lot of women who would like to be someone's first. But I guess it is different in religious and conservative environments, so context matters.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/25 10:41 AM

I've honestly never heard this phrase in the wild.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/25 10:36 AM

Firstly, I would never date someone who talks like an American frat bro stereotype. Secondly, there are ways to give praise that don't sound ridiculous and clingy.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/25 10:34 AM

Obsessed? Yes. Praising and looking up to someone to a healthy degree? Nope.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/25 10:28 AM

It is inaccurate and dehumanising. I'm surprised you even have to ask.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/25 10:06 AM
1

I guess you are only dating within your own culture then, because the multi dating thing is largely an anglo phenomenon. In plenty of countries/cultures, if there is a second date, you're exclusive by default. Continuing to date other people beyond a first date would be considered cheating.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/25 10:05 AM

Not true. The most masculine man I know is quite randomly a digital designer.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/25 09:44 AM

Idk Toronto, so maybe it's different there. But good luck I guess?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/25 09:41 AM

And the final girl is always a virgin.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/25 09:40 AM

Not all women can get a relationship that would actually bring them anything. The same way that dating another man might technically be an option for a straight man, it is worthless to him, because he is straight.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/25 09:25 AM
1

It would actually be funny to make you walk one day in a pretty woman's shoes.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/25 09:18 AM
11

Can't relate.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/25 09:55 PM

Then why not exclusively go for 1s?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/25 09:48 PM

Personally I haven't struggled with good options, so I am not single. If I didn't meet the right person however I wouldn't mind being single. A romantic relationship isn't a requirement for happiness.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/25 08:52 PM
1

I intentionally have only dated people who are more enthusiastic about dates than me. What do I like? Exploring and forming memories with a person I love.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/25 08:31 PM

That's probably more of a thing for those who cannot consistently get "1s".
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/25 08:24 PM
1

I guess it will take a lot more then, because there is no lack of men, quite the contrary.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/25 08:22 PM

I haven't. Your social circle sounds toxic.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/25 05:59 PM

Well yeah, being nice to people is bare minimum. It is just respect, nothing special.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/25 05:44 PM

They are quite open about who is and isn't their type, and they have no trouble getting their type, so I don't know why they would lie.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/25 05:29 PM

Why would you think we hate each other? I would take a bullet for some of my girlfriends.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/25 05:18 PM

Nah hot men do hot women. Since I model I have a couple of male model friends as well, and honestly they're picky af, even for a random hookup.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/25 05:16 PM
1

True but she mentioned "family money/property".
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/25 05:12 PM

Tomorrow I will have to decide if I am going to wear a real tight lacing corset and look fancy and af, or if I will eat Halloween treats. I cannot do both. Beauty is pain. <image>
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/25 04:45 PM

I'll do that!
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/25 04:07 PM

I wont hold my breath.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/25 04:06 PM

I just don't want polyester. It feels so icky.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/25 04:05 PM

Appreciated!
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/25 04:04 PM

Kibbie is honestly bs, no offence. But if you were implying that the dress doesn't suit the model, I would agree. I don't look like her though.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/25 04:04 PM

You're just jealous of our paid time off.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/25 04:00 PM

I'll do some digging.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/25 02:42 PM
1

Lucky for me I only want one person, not the vast majority of men. I do not value a flood of attention from strangers. I value love and commitment from someone I feel a connection with.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/25 02:42 PM

I know, but this one is a silk blend.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/25 02:39 PM

If only I could sew.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/25 02:38 PM

<image> I want this, dress but not for 450 euros :(
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/25 02:36 PM

If I was single men would continue to bounce around like horny frogs? I mean, yeah. They be doing that.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/25 02:28 PM
1

I'm not single, so yes.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/25 01:19 PM

My friend was born with a lot of money. She has been with a man who is way worse off financially, but who still doesn't feel insecure because he still has a very high status job in the arts. Rich in cultural capital, as they say.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/25 12:48 PM

Precisely. It is mostly said to average looking people who blame all their failures on their looks alone, meanwhile plenty of average people are dating/in relationships, suggesting the issue might be something else.

/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/25 09:08 AM

Confidence is being comfortable with who you actually are. This is delusion.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/25 07:52 AM

Of course you will not be treated identically. I will not braid my male friends hair (too short) nor discuss periods, but the fundamentals of a friendship remain the same.

My goal isn't for everyone to pair up, because that is never going to happen unless you force people. I am saying it for the sake of quality over quantity for the relationships that do form, and to increase emphasis on happiness beyond pussy.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/25 07:35 AM

Goodness... I heard that the social culture in the military is pretty strong though? So making new friends can potentially be easier?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/25 07:33 AM

That's valid. Hopefully you'll be able to put down some solid roots in the next place so that you can build something more permanent. But for now, yeah that sucks,
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/25 10:09 PM

0/10. Vegetables?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/25 10:04 PM

It sounds like you need time with friends and hobbies.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/25 10:03 PM

Sounds like you have never had a female friend, because that's absolute bs.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/25 09:57 PM

I am talking about normal looking dudes. The type of guy you wouldn't look at twice. Plain jane. Joe? They talk to women and they date women and they marry women and they have friends who are women.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/25 09:39 PM
14

Even if friends don't replace lovers, if you are not interested in or capable of forming and maintaining solid platonic relationships with women, you're certainly not ready for or an attractive prospect for a romantic relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/25 09:36 PM

Who are the others? Because irl, men who are actually social would say you sound delusional and paranoid. You shouldn't base your perception of the real world on inflammatory online noise.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/25 09:28 PM
2

You need to get over yourself with the whole Chad bs. Men are mainly competing with a woman's feeling of contentedness being single, not some hypothetical frat bro. Men need to stop being so bloody desperate and treating "getting a woman" as the end all be all. It only serves to make them less appealing, so naturally more women will happily remain single.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/25 09:25 PM

It is working class. Middle class is generally a step bellow upper class but a step above working class.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/25 09:21 PM

My point was that people overestimate their standing in many areas, be that financial, attractiveness, intelligence etc. It's actually pretty well documented in a number of studies.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/25 09:19 PM

Then on what do you base your stance?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/25 09:17 PM

Ehh if that's the worst thing she's done I'll give her a pass.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/25 04:21 PM

Did you try? I get approached by men I am not attracted to all the time, but I just politely decline and they go on their merry way. No hostility needed in the vast majority of cases.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/25 04:21 PM

Student discounts are great tbf. I saved 20 euros on a haircut last week!
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/25 03:31 PM

Fair enough.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/25 03:30 PM

I live in a big European city. How about you?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/25 03:26 PM

Well as a woman who's read my fair share of incel bs, I am not worried about that. I think anyone who actually spends a decent amount of time socialising with both men and women will realise that people are just people, and most people are pretty chill, man or woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/25 03:25 PM

That's just not true. We get hit on all the time, and most of the time it is perfectly fine. Of course there are creeps, but they're not the majority. I have several hobbies and men are welcomed with open arms. The exception is the guy who is clearly there ONLY looking for someone, with little to no interest in the actual hobby. They are easy to spot because they will ignore the other men and jump from woman to woman. That doesn't mean that hoping to make connections isn't ok. I would argue that…
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/25 03:24 PM

No more young person train and flight discounts.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/25 03:20 PM

Can you give some concrete examples of that? Especially examples during daytime.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/25 03:14 PM

That is inflammatory online discourse. Talk to a woman irl.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/25 03:14 PM

That is a very exaggerated take. Sure, there are situations in which women take precautions, but day to day, I never think of men as predatory. Most men are completely fine, and anyone that spends time socialising knows that.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/25 03:05 PM
3

It is so refreshing to read a nuanced take every once in a while.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/25 02:34 PM
7

This is basically a chronically online fantasy. Most women date and marry men of a similar status. Hookup culture isn't as widespread as you seem to think. Men are competing with a woman's pre-existing peace and happiness more so than Chad, since women aren't nearly as desperate to be in a relationship. If you fail to make a woman happier than she would be remaining single, then I am sorry to say, but you don't "qualify".
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/25 12:21 PM
5

So the actual problem is jealousy of women's "options" caused by men's desperation?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/25 12:06 PM

It reminds me of how people living paycheck to paycheck call themselves middle class.

Basically how it is now, but with better communication and fewer consent violations. It would also be good for men to raise their standards, as opposed to women lowering them. I enjoy having my freedom to choose a partner. I like that being in a relationship is optional. I think it is cool that people have different relationship arrangements depending on their needs and desires. I suppose I would encourage people to meet more irl (in general too) and not to rely on the apps. Makes for a better s…

/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/25 03:48 PM

Have you considered that perhaps people with very specific requirements are more likely to bother writing about it, than people with less rigid ideas? How interesting is it to ramble on about how you don't really care as long as they're the same hight or above?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/25 03:38 PM

It is usually more scary in your head than in reality. I'm sure it'll be lovely!
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/25 02:56 PM

That is true, especially for high fashion. It is a lot of networking. Though your agency will take care of most of it, you can get a lot further if people like working with you and you know how to promote yourself at certain events.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/25 02:49 PM

Right?? Basically there is a distinction between commercial modelling and fashion modelling. The former is what you see in ads, on websites of more affordable brands. Think cute girl next door, a more conventional beauty standard, more relatable, relaxed posing etc. It should speak to the masses. Then there is fashion modelling, which includes runway, luxury brand shoots, more artistic shoots. The beauty standard is to look striking. Models are typically even taller, even thinner and with strong…
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/25 02:03 PM

I am 5'9 and when I am doing a runway or high fashion booking I am usually among the shortest. When I do commercial I am more average. It is quite interesting what the ideal fashion model looks like compared to commercial. Not just height wise. Still, they say that clothes are made for tall and skinny women, but I struggle with sleeves and pant legs being too short relatively often, so I can imagine the struggle at 6'1.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/25 01:43 PM

It said 5-15, so I made my decision assuming he was 5 years older. I could go as high as 7 but no more. If he was 15 years older, I'd just stay single. Simple.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/25 01:35 PM

This only speaks to a general preference for a height difference, meaning a shorter women hypothetically could be happy with a shorter man than an average or tall woman.

/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/25 11:52 AM

What was the advice?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/25 11:19 AM

Everyone has an accent, you included. Some accents are more attractive than others, and that is also true for male attractiveness.

Personally, yes. For the world? It fluctuates.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/25 09:41 AM

Making "Daddy" have two kids isn't a problem as long as I am not expected to replace their mother, so this is still terribly unbalanced.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/25 09:39 AM

Not true, because you have to pay for that, and women don't normally pay for OLD.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/25 09:32 AM
22

No. I did not look for an average partner. I looked for a partner that was compatible with me, who makes my life better than it is remaining single, someone I am genuinely attracted to and with whom I can see things working out long term. I never needed a partner anyway, so why would I coldly strategize as if I did?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/25 09:29 AM

You already know this, but you need to get out.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/25 09:23 AM

Sure.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/25 07:15 PM

Not to women your own age.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/25 07:07 PM

To me personally? Over 32.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/25 07:05 PM

That's insane, but ok cool. I guess you wont complain if a woman has sex with you without telling you she has aids.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/25 06:59 PM

All I know is that the guys I personally know, who grew up around many women and girls, are doing better than average romantically.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/25 06:58 PM

Having several close bonds with women and girls throughout your life is, yes.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/25 06:52 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/25 06:49 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/25 06:45 PM

I hope you can get over it, because that is such a green flag.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/25 06:44 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/25 06:41 PM

That would be ok, because?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/25 06:38 PM

She is really fun! It would be hell to date her though. She chews people up and spits them back out.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/25 06:36 PM

I found my model face twin! She's like a brunette me, it's kinda creepy. I guess it's symptomatic of the lack of diversity in the modelling industry, though it's somewhat better than it has been.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/25 06:34 PM

Nope. But I have a close friend, and she's struggling a lot with relationships, romantic or otherwise. The only reason we remain friends is because I expect absolutely nothing from her.

Not only the US, to be fair, but it is among the worst. Here is a chart with other countries where young men fare poorly. Turkey is significantly worse off. <image>
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/25 01:30 PM

That is specifically for young men and women, but yes.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/25 01:28 PM

I'm sure. But it shows where the priorities lie when they decide to study if a disease makes you more sexy.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/25 01:26 PM

I wouldn't be surprised it if has impact, but asserting that it is the main factor, and that the solution to male loneliness is returning to a more patriarchal societal structure is silly and naïve. I imagine it is quite complex, with a slew of factors such as time spent online or even climate (making people in some countries stay inside more) factoring in.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/25 01:24 PM

Belgium has the same rate of loneliness (17%) for the remaining population, but significantly less lonely men. Not very patriarchal. Meanwhile Denmark, famously feminist country, and Greece, infamously sexist country, has the same rate of male loneliness. Seems you're suffering from confirmation bias, my dear.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/25 01:12 PM

Jesus Christ... And then there was this gem Attractiveness of women with rectovaginal endometriosis: a case-control study Rectovaginal endometriosis is fine actually, because it makes you sexy!
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/25 01:06 PM

I do wonder what makes American men lonelier than Belgian men. Because those countries have the same rate (17%) of loneliness for the rest of the population, but a significant gap (8% vs 25%) between young men specifically.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/25 01:03 PM

Elaborate.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/25 12:49 PM

Speak for yourself. Plenty of people engage in their communities, do charity work, vote according to what's best for society overall, protest for other people's rights etc. Just because you're selfish doesn't mean we all are.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/25 03:20 PM

My standards are serving me just fine, thank you very much. It is not my job to make my dating pool accessible to you.

And then they act like you're lying when you say you know men in relationships that aren't rich or model attractive.

One year max. And only if you're planning a ridiculously big wedding.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/25 01:06 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/25 06:02 PM

You genuinely seem cool from the little I've seen of you, so I don't think you should give up.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/25 05:55 PM

Hahah that's adorable
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/25 05:50 PM

That doesn't sound that bad tbh. I see men that fit that description in happy relationships. And baldness isn't unusual, at least not after 35
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/25 05:50 PM

I respect that. I am just curious because I rarely see people who are outright ugly.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/25 05:38 PM

People who understand statistics do. Sadly many people are dumb.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/25 05:36 PM

Nice. Love a good coincidence.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/25 05:35 PM

Pics? Makeover time?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/25 05:34 PM

Which country? If you factor for age and gender its actually lower than the general population in several cases. Young men are overall far more criminal than other demographics, so in cases when the majority of immigrants are young men, surprise surprise you get a higher crime representation. But by this logic we should just kick out all the young men and have women only countries.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/25 05:32 PM

That's actually so sweet. Congrats on 18 years!
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/25 05:24 PM

Some people are definitely a bit more like that. When I fist met one of my best friends I thought he didn't like me, but he just needed time to warm up. Worth the wait! He's such a kind and fun person.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/25 04:27 PM

Actually more of my friends are in relationships than not, and the single people are actively dating for the most part.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/25 04:24 PM

Fair enough, but that could just be a lack of habit?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/25 04:23 PM
1

Would you say that you communicate better over text than verbally?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/25 04:14 PM
2

I'd argue that the apps are more looks focused, not less, because people swipe based on pictures. Irl you're able to give a more complete impression of yourself. Your body language and mannerisms, your sense of humour and charisma. So many people also look much better in movement than they do in pictures. I have some guy friends who really shine irl, but don't do well on the apps.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/25 04:08 PM
1

I'm under 25, and most of my peers are ditching the apps in favour of irl socialising.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/25 04:02 PM
1

Where do you live?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/25 04:01 PM
2

I say that because men on the apps are overwhelmingly horny.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/25 04:00 PM
2

That would not be assumed ime, because it is normal for men and women to talk to each other, be friends and just treat each other like people. For reference I have lived in multiple west European countries. Language school is actually such a good idea. Most major cities have get togethers for people learning languages too.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/25 03:46 PM
2

I think it just depends on how you hit on people. That guy who clearly doesn't care about the event and jumps from woman to woman hoping for a shag isn't gonna be popular, but lots of people meet partners by having some tact. Have you considered taking up a non-sport related reoccurring activity? Expanding your skills and hobbies and meeting new peeps. Win win.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/25 03:30 PM
3

I didn't mean to literally just go outside, stand straight up and down and wait for someone to come up to you. Join hobby groups, sports, charities, classes, go to events, heck, join a political party. Go places where people interact with each other, people who share your interests.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/25 03:25 PM
0

They are more likely to succeed by changing their social arenas than by going on apps.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/25 03:22 PM

Bars are not it. You should go to places where you can meet people who share your interests. Sports, hobby groups, charity, specific events etc. Meeting friends of friends is still live and well too.

Dating apps are lame. Go outside.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/25 02:49 PM
12

As a woman I don't bother with the apps. Too many people looking for casual sex for my taste. I met my partner at a charity event, and previous partners though friends. I wouldn't recommend for anyone to solely rely on the apps for dating. At most it should be a supplement.

So you are talking about victims of domestic violence and making generalisations about all women? Furthermore, this study has a sample size of only 40 women, and has yet to be replicated at a representative scale.

If you've got a solid source, please do share. Otherwise what you're saying is of little value to any productive conversation.

Cool. We are on the same page. And you have found that the women in your personal life have been lacking in these skills compared to men? Because I wasn't able to find any peer reviewed studies confirming your claim.

After the first bit the second half was surprisingly wholesome.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/25 08:24 AM

That's very interesting actually. I would have guessed that masturbating could be a way to "get it out of your system", so it's surprising to hear that you calmed those feelings by essentially ignoring them.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/25 08:19 AM

Can't relate. I only date people that I am attracted to on all levels. Anything else would feel dishonest.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/25 09:41 PM
1

Yeah I agree. I have some guy friends who relate to my experience of sexual/romantic attraction. Maybe it is just that when someone is getting HRT they go really heavy on the dose of testosterone to get the bodily changes going? I am not sure.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/25 09:40 PM
2

Best of luck with that.

Why do you need latin to become a teacher?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/25 09:13 PM

The chemistry, slow tension build-up and ever increasing emotional connection is the best part imo. It is what makes sex good, and it is so much more than sex, so losing that, even just in part sounds devastating tbh.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/25 09:10 PM

I'm sure your future wife would feel great reading this.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/25 08:59 PM

Have you never seen a man lifting in TINY shorts and a tanktop that barely covers his nips? It isn't even an uncommon sight tbh.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/25 08:56 PM
1

Yeah, I can relate to how he described his sexuality pre-T. I can't speak for the latter though, so I would need men to confirm if that is how they typically feel.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/25 08:34 PM
2

Yes he did, but not only. I replied more in depth to someone else if you are interested.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/25 08:22 PM
3

Yeah, he gave quite a lot of detail actually. He told me how sexual arousal used to be highly contextual. How it was like a switch that would only turn on in the right context, and outside of that he didn't feel very sexual at all. Before T, sexual interest and arousal would naturally increase with escalating reciprocity. Little non-verbal things like eye contact, body language, voice, but also banter, teasing etc. used to be what would get him going. Arousal was context and person dependent and…
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/25 08:21 PM

what a horrific way to go.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/25 08:04 PM
-1

My friend is a trans guy and we were talking about the physical and emotional changes he experienced when he went on T. He told me how it changed how he experiences sexual attraction, and how that's one thing he misses from pre-transition. Honestly fascinating stuff.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/25 08:03 PM

I will make an exception for cat toenails.

Tell your boss.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/25 11:38 AM

I have never dated anyone that wasn't my type. Why would I? I don't think it would be fair to someone else to date them when they don't live up to my expectations either.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/25 10:44 AM

Long toenails, including neat and pedicured ones, are disgusting.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/25 09:45 AM

That's your taste, luv. And while I do require a potential partner to be physically to my taste, my non physical standards are way higher, rarer and harder to achieve. So that chin will do nothing for the vast majority of men. And yet? I have never had any trouble finding someone suitable, nor have I been unhappy in the short periods of my life when I was single, so why the hell would I lower my standards?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/25 09:27 AM

Because I don't assume all men are trying to get in my pants, and I treat men as people first.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/25 09:19 AM

Read "most".
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/25 09:16 AM

My personal policy is: I can schedule as many first dates as I want. However, the moment I agree to a second date, no more first dates and cancel any already scheduled first dates. I expect the same in return.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/25 09:15 AM

No. We need to make our standards as high as necessary to ensure that entering into a relationship beats staying single.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/25 09:10 AM

You're telling on yourself.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/25 09:09 AM

Isn't your league simply whoever wants you?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/10/25 08:03 PM
13

I don't think they're "beneath me", just not my taste. And if that were the case, there would be people I wouldn't pursue because I thought they were above me too? But nah. Of course I am not denying that conventional attractiveness is a thing, but that never felt relevant in a one to one interaction. What has mattered individually is simply whether or not I am drawn to you.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/10/25 07:48 PM
1

Really? That's a relief.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/10/25 07:43 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate21/10/25 07:03 PM
11

Irl I don't see people treating dating like a game the way it is presented here. People meet, they click, they start seeing each other more and more, and they become a couple. So simple, and yet so complicated, entirety unsuitable for gamification.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/10/25 07:01 PM
13

Well in that case I am either Stacy or I am naturally drawn to people "my league".
/r/PurplePillDebate21/10/25 06:52 PM

Not being a boring person does not equal being an entertainer.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/25 07:28 PM

I do think that is a big part of it. My parent's generation were more inclined to interact with a variety of people, their neighbours, random people out and about. They were more social and also more pro-social in some ways.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/25 08:55 AM
1

That only speaks to men's lack of standards, which is a pretty significant problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/25 08:50 AM

Men need to grow some standards.

/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/25 07:29 PM
1

Hahah yeah I can absolutely see that. All those posts about "raw attraction" never made sense to me, and I am by no means asexual. Pretty just ain't enough 🤷‍♀️

2

Are we bitter or what?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/25 05:40 PM

I wonder if this is why women are more likely to use words like sapiosexual and demisexual to describe themselves? Women typically seem to have a more clear and spesific idea of their personality preferences.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/25 05:29 PM
3

Yes, it seems so, but I wonder why that is.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/25 04:32 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/25 09:26 AM

The amount of men who will tell you that they're in love with you, before they know your middle name, what kind of music you listen to or wether you're an only child, simply because they find you physically attractive. Many are driven by lust, not love.

/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/25 08:27 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/25 08:15 PM

So it's only hard for straight men? What makes straight men different?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/25 07:08 PM

How about gay men?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/25 07:01 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/25 06:51 PM

That's what I'm saying. If you're pretty with a shit personality doors will open, but will then be slammed in your face as soon as people realise you're an ass.

I think the answer unsurprisingly falls somewhere in between. Massive shlong? Unless you find a size queen, prepare for issues. Micro penis? Good luck. People closer to average, i.e. most people? They're fine.

Speaking for myself and many other women.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/25 04:45 PM

Being pretty is pretty nice ngl, but it's not enough if you want something to last.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/25 04:32 PM

Idk about that. That hasn't been true for me or my girlfriends.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/25 04:26 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/25 11:03 AM

That's cool. I am all for discovering your preferences and setting your standards accordingly.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/25 11:02 AM

Sure, there are shitty women, just as there are shitty men. Still there's nothing quite like a woman who truly loves you. Even in friendships, they go above and beyond.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/25 10:52 AM
26

Strange enough, the men I know aren't having any trouble either 🤔 They're very lovable, to be fair.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/25 10:39 AM

Maybe just not to you 👀
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/25 10:15 AM
34

I've dated women. Women are SUPER loving.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/25 10:08 AM
3

Exactly. It makes me wonder if we live in different worlds sometimes. Then I realise, a lot of people just don't go outside.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/25 10:07 AM
6

Exactly this.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/25 09:46 AM
2

It is in more alternative circles.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/25 09:45 AM
3

Ahh I see. Well I do get the impression that American women spend more money on beauty. Getting their hair done regularly, going to nail salons etc. I live in Paris now, and the beauty standard is more "I woke up like this" than perfectly styled hair and bleached teeth.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/25 09:44 AM
2

I've actually seen a small increase in the use of tinted moisturisers among men. So that's pretty cool. I would have no qualms dating a man who used that, or some eyebrow defining products etc. I prefer a more natural look on men and women anyway, but minimal makeup can look nice. I've lived in several European cities btw, and as a student I haven't been staying in wealthy neighbourhoods. So that's my pov.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/25 09:35 AM
3

I think experienced people are hotter.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/25 09:27 AM
2

All I know is what I see walking down the street and among peers (20s): Minimal to no makeup on most faces. I actually look twice when someone is wearing a full face with contour and stuff, because it's so unusual.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/25 09:25 AM

Honestly my experience with men in real life is that for the most part, they're pretty feminist. It's just that the rotten apples are loud, chaotic and slingshot themselves all over the place. They're basically going "I SUCK! LOOK AT ME" while the normal men are just chilling and treating women like people.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/25 09:19 AM
1

I don't actually know many women who regularly wear a lot of makeup. I guess it depends on the country you live in, but I've lived in several western European cities, and you rarely see more than a little mascara, maybe some concealer. And people go bare-faced just as often as well. Hair extensions also aren't popular, or push up bras. That was more of a thing in the 2000s. Either way, I personally don't care about people's style choices, be that fake nails or shoe lifts. It may not be my taste,…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/25 09:12 AM

You have to remember that cosmetics include skincare.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/25 09:05 AM

Less people.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/25 06:31 AM
4

I've never date anyone with less experience than me. Honestly wouldn't have it any other way.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/25 11:29 PM

Unironically a good date idea.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/25 10:09 AM

Online discourse is honestly such a mess. And when you point it out people get angry and say that it's as real (or even more!) as going outside and interacting with the world.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/25 10:04 AM

I'm mostly surprised that people ask for relationship advice on reddit.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/25 09:19 AM

Not really, no. You have to be dense or very inexperienced to fall for it.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/25 08:37 AM

If it's real, trust me, you'd know.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/25 08:18 AM

What is this nonsense? I'm sorry but you're only painting yourself as incapable.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/25 07:37 AM

But they do??
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/25 05:41 PM

You have to be a bit of a rape apologist to be a john when so many sex workers are trafficked.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/25 04:39 PM

I only know one café like this, and people sit mixed, usually picking the corners first, or the spots with the better view. It isn't social however, as the big tables are pretty much exclusively used for people working. The people who are there to relax will take a lounge chair, window seat or sofa. Either way, people usually just interact with the barista and people they're already there with.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/25 02:28 PM

Honestly, I probably shouldn't. It's a guilty pleasure. Like watching a train wreck.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/25 02:15 PM

Yes, it's most definitely their skinny wrists, and not their disgusting personalities.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/25 01:30 PM

Such a wholesome sub full of Johns and rape apologists. A real mystery why they're single.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/25 12:27 PM

Real. I actually cringed reading that.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/25 12:22 PM

Absolutely. In fact, a hyper-masculine man without a touch of feminine traits is unattractive to me.

Bob needs a life, not a wife.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 07:41 PM
9

I see you missed the "personally" bit. Literally the first word, but OK.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 07:35 PM
13

And I answered. "Intimacy".
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 06:37 PM
9

I mentioned looks to make it clear that I am repelled by the idea of having sex with someone without connection, even if they're my exact type physically. Now that obviously doesn't mean that looks don't matter when I choose a romantic partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 06:31 PM
16

You literally asked. A piece of advice: don't ask questions that you don't want answered.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 06:16 PM
32

Personally, the idea of having sex with someone that I don't have a strong connection with is nauseating. It doesn't matter what they look like. It's the most intimate act I know, so the mere thought doing it with anyone that I lack emotional intimacy with, makes me physically cringe. Cringing as we speak. Having to do that to make ends meet? I think I'd rather not be here anymore.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 05:47 PM

I lived in London for a bit and I hate to tell you...
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 04:25 PM

Do you honestly believe that Hollywood actors are representative? <image>
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 04:25 PM

England is the US of Europe.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 03:31 PM

This is one of the most delusional comments yet. Holding your hand through it all would take so long I can't be bothered. But I emplore you do do some reading. Outside the manosphere, that is.

A good reason not to pay incels any mind 🤷‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 03:12 PM

I'm so sorry that happened to you. I truly wish it wasn't so common as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 03:11 PM

Where do you live? I've lived in several major European cities, and I can't relate.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 03:10 PM

Japan, I guess?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 02:09 PM
4

I am quite frankly sick of the sheer volume of attention. It's not a fun time. And you're infantilizing men by not holding them accountable for their actions.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 02:09 PM

What are you talking about? There are plenty of attractive men to choose from.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 01:47 PM
1

🤮
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 01:33 PM
1

Lmao that could be funny. Especially with the red pubes. But for 42 euros???
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 01:21 PM
2

It's inclusive at least? 😭
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 12:36 PM
17

Not wanting to deal with bad men is unreasonable? But to be honest I wish men generally would be less horny.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 12:23 PM
9

Again, that's a strawman. I never claimed that all men are rapists, nor most men. I simply stated the fact that most rapists are men.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 11:42 AM
1

My thoughts exactly, and yet they've all been purchased 😭
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 11:18 AM
9

Enough instances of sexual violence, which does not imply that most men are predators, as one man can commit multiple crimes. I am actually baffled that I have to explain this.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 11:10 AM
11

There is a difference between most crime is committed by men and most men commit crime. Honestly, I shouldn't have to break that down for you.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 11:05 AM
12

Checks out unfortunately. I was 10.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 10:55 AM

I googled it. It was indeed a twilight fanfic lmao.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 10:54 AM

Very convenient.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 10:53 AM

Sure.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 10:53 AM
1

<image> Are we serious?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 10:52 AM
2

<image> I'm sorry??? And it's sold out 💀
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 10:52 AM
2

Sorry, love. If I ever see you irl I promise to be nice.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 10:48 AM

Yes, there are significant issues with those industries. That doesn't mean that green energy is an unethical goal, not that all is bad, but there are certainly practices that need to change. What's your point?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 10:45 AM

Oh be serious. It was obviously implied.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 10:42 AM

It's largely cultural actually, and a relatively recent development. And people who are property aware of the horrors of the diamond industry are far less interested in wearing one. As for the ones that still do, well they're unethical too.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 10:41 AM

Where's the hypocrisy? I'm a socialist. I don't support exploitative industries, and I find the most exploitative ones the most abhorrent, naturally.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 10:38 AM

Right, my bad. Forgot that we're supposed to be a hivemind for your convenience.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 10:35 AM

My fav diamonds? You're hilarious. Keep it up!
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 10:32 AM

There's a reason why it's more frowned upon to buy Shein than Uniqlo, even though pretty much the entire fashion industry is unethical. It's honestly strange how some are incapable of understanding neuance.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 10:30 AM

The sex industry is very unethical. It's really not that complicated.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 10:17 AM
3

I save my worst parts for reddit 🥰
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 10:15 AM
1

Why do all men do this?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 10:14 AM
11

So why have I been catcalled on multiple occasions when my hair was messy, I wasn't wearing makeup and I was dressed in baggy dark clothes from top to toe? Some men won't leave you alone no matter what.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 10:01 AM
9

Indeed they don't. You should read them sometime.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 09:59 AM
16

I've yet to meet a single woman who doesn't have a SH/SA story, and the statistics reflect that. The perpetrators are overwhelmingly men. Nobody said that. Strawman. Still enough for my answer to point one to stand. Not in sexual violence (perhaps except in the US, because of their crazy inhumane prison system). Women are victimised overwhelmingly by men. Male crime is a problem. The numbers speak for themselves.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 09:49 AM
11

https://sbaproject.org/what-were-you-wearing/ Have a scroll down. Take a good look.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 09:35 AM
13

Yes, because holding predators accountable is unreasonable apparently.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 09:22 AM
16

Rare? I've yet to meet a single woman who hasn't experiences SH/SA. And it starts young. I was in elementary school when strange men started acting like creeps.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 09:20 AM
15

Sure let's blame the victim and not the actual rapist. And what do we do about the SH and SA that women deal with from strangers on the regular? Should women just stay locked inside, or would it perhaps be useful to adress the root of the problem?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 08:50 AM
16

Your conclusion makes no sense when you take into account that women (and girls) get sexually harrased and assaulted no matter what they wear. What was she wearing?, really?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 08:48 AM
24

Those are a lot of worthwhile discussions, but still besides the point. We're talking about wether it's advantageous for a women to deal with very horny men as opposed to not dealing with very horny men. Who's got it worse is quite frankly a debate I've yet to see done productively. You also fail to consider that the high rates physical assaults that men experience are perpetrated by other men, not women, in the vast majority of cases.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 08:46 AM
29

Nobody disputes that it's a double edged sword? We have more choice in partners and we have no choice in getting sexually harrased, assaulted and raped.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 07:49 AM
1

Wasn't that just some bad twilight fanfic?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/25 09:32 PM

Nice!
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/25 08:40 PM

Indeed. Her closet is probably bigger than my living room.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/25 08:40 PM

Indeed. She's asking less than 10% what she paid for a pair of boots that she never used because she bought the wrong size.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/25 08:22 PM

I love that rich old ladies will buy fancy shit, forget about it, and then resell it unused or practically unused for almost nothing.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/25 08:05 PM

Small head. A big head can look a lil childish, since children have larger heads proportionally than adults.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/25 07:22 PM

Don't do it. You'll look English.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/25 06:38 PM

I'm not surprised. Big city means more options, sure, more options for everyone. It also means more competition. Town pretty, small city pretty, and big city pretty are not the same.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/25 06:35 PM

Why on earth would I tolerate their hatred? That's a ridiculous demand.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/25 06:29 PM
2

I mean I'm not American, but it's generally true that it's cheaper to pair up. Another increasingly popular alternative however, is living with friends.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/25 06:00 PM

I have noticed a bit of a trend of certain men not knowing how to have a back and forward 🥲
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/25 05:58 PM

True. Sweatpants and home buzzed hair isn't a rare sight.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/25 05:38 PM

It's honestly so endearing. When they're both visibly shy and excited.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/25 05:37 PM

True. The bad dates can be so bad the entire café gets uncomfortable 😅
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/25 05:36 PM

Guilty pleasure: witnessing obvious OLD first dates. It's either cute af or a complete disaster. Today a "couple" sat next to me, and they were of the cute variety. So wholesome. Second date is definitely happening.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/25 05:06 PM
1

I was trying to highlight how it's not men versus women but more like most men versus a tiny group of women. I don't watch porn or read smut, so I have no horse in the game beyond that.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/25 04:41 PM

Slavic men have been looking so much better the last few years though. Finally making efforts to match their baddies 🙌
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/25 04:08 PM
1

Most women don't read smut. I wouldn't be surprised if most men watch porn?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/25 03:19 PM
1

Like a NEET hermit?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/25 03:13 PM
0

What do you mean by "low value male" exactly?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/25 03:07 PM
1

The thing is, at the end of the day, if you approach the world with a mindset like that, the world will not deal with you as you are, it'll isolate you further, so only you will.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/25 03:04 PM
2

Is it? Ime it's taken for granted.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/25 11:13 AM

It's rather helpful that more people are being so open about their bad intentions online. It serves as useful tools for women, in helping eachother spot the signs to avoid you.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/25 10:42 AM

I'm reading Reading Lolita in Tehran. Incredibly insightful but also infuriating. Men who feel threatened by women's freedom are dangerous.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/25 10:39 AM
11

It isn't my goal. I and countless others will not comply.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/25 10:36 AM
15

At the expense of the freedom of women?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/25 07:51 AM

You think loneliness is a male feeling?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 11:31 PM
8

That's what this thread is about? Women not dating men who don't fit their standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 11:29 PM
20

I don't know. But I think we have to consider how the fading pressure to couple up may have contributed to people not rushing into things. So if you look at 18-25 year olds the stats may look a lot "worse" than for men ages 25+ or 30+.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 11:23 PM
15

Just because she won't date you doesn't mean she thinks you're inferior.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 11:18 PM

Name it.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 11:08 PM

100% agree.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 10:59 PM

Sorry to hear, but glad you spoke in past tense. I hope you're more fulfilled now 🫶
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 10:59 PM

You underestimate us 😤
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 10:57 PM
66

I think it's entirely natural that people raise their standards for romantic relationships now that they're truly optional, legally and socially. As a result, some, who in the past may have been paired up, remain single. But I don't think we're talking about most men.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 10:56 PM

That's sad.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 10:47 PM

Do you think it's possible for someone who isn't asexual to love someone romantically and not want to have sex with them?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 10:47 PM

Facts.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 09:40 PM

Apparently some women use them when they go hiking.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 09:39 PM

Gotcha. That's unfortunate. Someone should tell her.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 09:39 PM
2

As I said compatability. Women are allowed to discuss their sexual experiences, even if it's subjective. Get over it 🤷‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 09:37 PM

White people can be foreign too.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 09:34 PM

<image>
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 09:32 PM

Is English her third language?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 09:29 PM
2

It's largely about compatability, but I'd say some requirements for being good in bed is genuine curiosity and a desire to please your partner at least as much as you want to be pleased yourself. As long as boys and young men keep that in mind, they'll probably be fine. Same goes for women btw.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 09:23 PM

Assuming my health is in order, if I stop wanting to have sex with my partner, rest assured I don't love them anymore. It's called making love after all.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 09:20 PM

Good luck with that.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 09:12 PM

You're advocating that people tolerate cheating?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 09:00 PM

I guess so. How terribly depressing.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 08:46 PM

It isn't, but in a romantic relationship it is very important to many.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 08:45 PM

Damn.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 08:45 PM

It isn't the defining factor, sure. But it's certainly a defining factor and not something I'd personally be willing to sacrifice.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 08:44 PM

Good point. Do you thinks it's actually more an issue of "I don't want to have sex" than "I don't want to have sex with you"?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 08:24 PM

Gross..
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 08:10 PM

I understand if it's temporary, due to illness or something, but if one or both parties decide that they don't want to have sex with the other anymore (assuming they're not asexual), that sounds like the romance is dead. They might as well cut their losses, give themselves a chance to build something with someone they're compatible with.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 08:09 PM

Women are expected to be virgins, while men are expected to be experienced. This sounds like a lose lose situation
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 08:06 PM

Do people detail their first time to anyone they date over there?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 07:56 PM

I'm 24 and my longest relationship was 4 years.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 07:55 PM

Do they really? Well that doesn't mean you have to as well, and I assure you, not everyone does. I never even considered the possibility of someone I've dated being a virgin past my teens.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 07:47 PM

I wonder why people stay in dead bedroom relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 07:43 PM

I don't think people actually ask about that? I haven't heard anyone talking about virginity since HS.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 07:40 PM

Really???
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 06:58 PM

I love the bone one.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 06:14 PM

That stuff is so sticky though ☹️
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 06:08 PM
0

I was teasing. Why so tense? For the record, I've never heard a woman talk shit about someone she's actually dating. Occasionally after the fact, but rarely anything more than "things weren't good in bed". A woman knows that if she says her bf sucks in bed her friends will encourage her to leave lol
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 05:59 PM

This one is the goat and it's easy to open 💁‍♀️ <image>
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 05:53 PM

Who's talking about bashing? I'm talking about when the girlie's get together to giggle about how happy they are with their partners.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 05:49 PM

Platonic connection and romantic connection is very different. I don't know why anyone would deny that. Still, one thing I see here a lot which is also unfortunate, is the devaluing of friendships. Friendship is fundamental for community and community should be priority number one imo.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 05:48 PM

True. And vice versa.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 05:05 PM
17

B. No hesitation, and I'm a "hopeless romantic".
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 05:00 PM
7

It's all about finding someone with whom your icks aren't triggered ✌️
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 04:24 PM
4

I never went into the nitty gritty with my friends, so it's more of a way to express that I'm happy and "treated right". I wouldn't talk shit, because if there's shit to say I'm leaving 🤷‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 04:18 PM

Goodness...
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 04:05 PM

Because he looks bellow average, but not to an extreme degree. Hence 4.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 03:49 PM

4
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 03:43 PM
2

Is it really? Seems strange not to talk to your partner. Maybe I just like to yap.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 03:24 PM
2

Personally I just ask my partner what they are and aren't comfortable with, as with pretty much anything.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 03:09 PM
0

Valid. Just teasing.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 03:01 PM
2

Which implies...
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 02:35 PM
3

It's funny, because men that are good in bed seem to quite like it.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 02:30 PM
5

Exactly. Like, I'm very sorry, but even a sheltered virgin will realise that you're shit in the sack.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 02:27 PM

Your comment history speaks for itself.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 01:56 PM

I've been to mixed gender naked saunas in Germany. Nobody died. Bodies are shockingly just bodies.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 01:42 PM

It's almost as if you're on a mission to confirm negative steriotypes about indians here on the daily.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 01:39 PM

I think we should go the other way, making fewer rules for self expression.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 01:37 PM

But the entire idea of "allowing" certain levels of self expression sounds fundamentally authoritarian. Not a fan. And again, limiting human creativity would be sad and boring.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 01:28 PM

<image>
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 01:15 PM

You don't need sexy clothes to be sexualised. The amount of times I've been catcalled whilst fully covered up, with messy hair and no makeup, tells me all I need to know about men's ability to sexualise anyone. And what about the positive aspects like self expression, creativity and visual communication? Why strip all of that away because of horny men that will continue to be honey men regardless?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 01:12 PM

Why?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 12:51 PM

I never heard of paleness being more common in women? The class thing does make sense though, because in western countries paleness used to be the beauty standard, but as travel became more popular and jobs became more indoor and sedentary, tanning became the new standard, signaling time and money to travel and be outside.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 12:23 PM

It's most definitely cultural. Did you know that tuberculosis was romanticised in the 19th century? It was perceived as "ethereal", "delicate" and "fragile". Women suffering from the disease became emaciated, pale, with flushed cheeks and glassy eyes. Healthy women would try to emulate the look. It might tell us thing or two about the sorts of traits that were appreciated in women at the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 12:01 PM

It's a shame because the focus seems to lay only on aesthetics and not on utility. Frail is pretty, strong isn't. And you don't even have to be bulky to strong as a woman. I need to maintain some muscle to not drop bellow a bmi of 18, and if I'm really honest with myself, my muscles wouldn't intimidate a child 😅
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 11:34 AM

I don't think definition is very pupular though? A lot of the women presented as the ideal in Korea are very skinny, yes, but also quite soft looking?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 11:19 AM

Lmao 🤏
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 11:11 AM

I think it's like you said, a fear of muscles. I heard that some women in Korea are getting some sort of injection in their calves to atrophy the muscle, for a more slender look. Edit: but also, a very low bfp isn't healthy for women, including athletes, because it often leads to a loss of periods or even premature menopause.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 11:09 AM

Lucky you. They're creepy af.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 08:37 AM

You know that reddit is a certain type of place with a certain type of demographic, when it's the only app/site where I've seen ads for dating apps, let alone scammy looking ones aimed specifically at men.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 08:14 AM
1

You're joking 😭
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 07:38 AM

Haha yeah I figured. It's just interesting how different it is to talk about dating with guys I know irl versus here.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/25 08:56 PM

Shortest male friend is about 165cm. Tallest is over 2m.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/25 08:31 PM

You could have made up much more interesting points in that case. It wouldn't be very "well educated" to generalise my personal experiences, so I'm not sure what you want from me.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/25 07:21 PM

You can just admit that you projected something that nobody implied.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/25 07:09 PM

An observation, more like.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/25 07:05 PM
2

We're doing drinks and dancing at home (sorry neighbours).
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/25 06:20 PM
1

Whatever works for you!
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/25 06:15 PM
1

Sounds tedious.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/25 06:12 PM
1

You rawdog your fwbs?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/25 06:08 PM
2

Clubbing or inviting friends over for drinks at home tonight 🤔 I kinda wanna dance, but idk if I can be arsed to go downtown.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/25 05:53 PM
2

You missed the point. I never argued wether or not it's real. I noted the difference between my social circles and the online narrative, and how it's a funny contrast.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/25 05:47 PM
1

Yes of course. I'm starting to think that the lonely men don't go outside much.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/25 05:28 PM
1

Yep.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/25 04:59 PM
1

Oh that's unfortunate. I'm introverted, so I really enjoy how I can easily hop in and out of social stuff here. How essentially lazy I can be, and still make friends.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/25 04:27 PM
1

Yeah, I guess people are going outside less. I feel somewhat shielded from it because I'm in uni, so there's social gatherings to join all the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/25 04:24 PM
1

Most of them are in LTRs and the rest are going on dates, having flings etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/25 04:21 PM
1

What I mean is, are the men experiencing "the loneliness epidemic" perhaps not just romantically unsuccessful, but overall socially isolated, so you wouldn't really see much of them anyway?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/25 04:10 PM
2

I sure hope so. I'm glad my mates are good.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/25 04:06 PM
1

So them (mostly gen z, some millennials) being my friends, them having friends, means they're not the demographic?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/25 04:05 PM
4

It's honestly a little strange to read all this stuff about "the male loneliness epidemic" and simultaneously see my male friends being completely fine.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/25 03:43 PM
1

Never understood the appeal tbh.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/25 03:07 PM
1

I agree. No more sausage suits.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/25 11:57 AM
1

I love seeing all the cute couples outside walking hand in hand, arm in arm 🫶
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/25 10:26 AM

I'm taking note of your username.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/25 11:08 PM

No.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/25 11:06 PM

What a disgusting thing to think, write, and post publicly.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/25 11:01 PM

Blasphemy.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/25 10:01 PM

They do, but they seem to center their lives less around men and dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/25 08:48 PM

Fair. I'm being facetious.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/25 08:41 PM

How bizzare. What do you do with yourselves when you get old and your penises shrivel up?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/25 08:29 PM

Do you live for pussy?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/25 08:21 PM

Yep. I want a partner, not a baby.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/25 08:17 PM

Yes, definitely tell her that. It'll totally work.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/25 07:51 PM

It'll come.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/25 07:48 PM

What are you becoming?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/25 07:46 PM

You.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/25 07:43 PM

Not wanting to travel is a red flag.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/25 06:47 PM

Does not being able to go to a bar make you feel less like an adult at 18?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/25 06:17 PM

You'd say something more similar to "I care about you" to friends and family. And I grew up with "I love you" not being casual romantically either. Not something you say to your partner as you leave in the morning, but a more serious and intimate declaration of love that you'd not want to say too much, as it might lessen the meaning/impact.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/25 05:52 PM

Idk, but they keep coming.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/25 05:32 PM

I usually just reply a very flustered "you too!". To me it sounds romantic no matter what.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/25 05:32 PM

I know that "I love you" is more broad/casual in English, but I still find it weird when friends say they love me.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/25 05:18 PM

<image> ✨this✨
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/25 04:11 PM

Gold digger.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/25 04:03 PM

I'm sorry, but you need to go outside more.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/25 04:01 PM

Thanks 🙏
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/25 03:56 PM

That's very mature of you. Hopefully your friend will figure whatever it is out.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/25 03:33 PM

Me too... We talked for 3.5 hours and it was lovely. I hate being such a wuzz sometimes.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/25 03:32 PM

Must be.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/25 03:29 PM

Marriage is NOT the end all be all.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/25 12:12 PM

Y?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/25 12:08 PM

Gen z phone anxiety is so lame. Why am I nervous for a scheduled call with A FRIEND? That's embarrassing.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/25 12:05 PM

I wish men would stop doing that.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/25 10:33 AM

I've never even heard of most of these.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/25 10:31 AM

Good for her.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/25 10:28 AM
1

Somehow that does sound better. It's so dorky it's cute.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/25 08:46 AM
1

Assuming he's actually average. The point was not lying to people. As for dumb takes. Not my bad if people here are unable to sprinkle a little humour into such a silly conversation.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/25 08:44 AM

Same.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/25 08:12 AM
1

But then it wouldn't be true so the compliment should be "I like your small penis"
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/25 07:55 AM
1

No. But I model. You have to be at least 5'8.5.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/25 07:54 AM
1

That sounds so meh
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/25 07:53 AM
2

"I love your small penis"?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/25 07:52 AM
2

Personally, no.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/25 09:43 PM
1

I'm 5'9. Less than that is tiny.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/25 09:12 PM

Reminds me of when they handed out condoms in HS and the boys turned them into balloons before popping them... So sticky.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/25 08:59 PM

Stop being funny.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/25 08:11 PM
2

5'9 is pretty damn short for a man.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/25 08:07 PM
2

Idk. Can't relate.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/25 07:56 PM

My friend finished it 🙏
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/25 07:54 PM

A random Irish pub in York.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/25 07:30 PM

Ok. Good 😮‍💨
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/25 07:28 PM

It's a double shot at least!
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/25 06:59 PM

They're a little too generous with their whiskey servings here. I doubt I can finish my first drink.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/25 06:48 PM
4

It entirely depends on why you're in therapy. I'd never give a man with anger issues a chance. Too risky. Choose better, as the men here like to say.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/25 06:46 PM

Your name isn't Anna, perchance? (Not trying to dox you. You remind me of someone)
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/25 06:20 PM

I couldn't give less of a shit about American politics.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/25 06:15 PM
2

I like attention from whoever I'm dating and from women.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/25 04:38 PM

So be it.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/25 01:29 PM
3

I don't think it's bad. But I can almost guarantee that if I told any man I was sleeping with that his penis is average, he wouldn't be happy. Do you disagree?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/25 01:24 PM
1

Introverted and reserverd women who go outside less meet fewer guys and thus have less experience. You have to actually talk to people to date them 🤯
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/25 11:43 AM
2

First of all, I'm not American. Secondly, I never said there was anything wrong with being average. People simply don't get praised for it, be that your dick or your grades.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/25 11:22 AM

You say that as if it's a bad thing. Quality over quantity. More women got married before. Women also initiated most of the consequential divorces. Trust me, we're fine.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/25 10:22 AM
1

I know. Hence the "might".
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/25 10:20 AM

Can't relate. Sounds more like a revenge fantasy than a reflection of reality. Besides, it wouldn't be the "punishment" you think it is, since women aren't as desperate as men to be in a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/25 10:13 AM

Not everyone is American, mate.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/25 10:11 AM

I think the angry men on the Internet fail to realise how inconsequential they are to the offline lives of women.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/25 09:21 AM
1

There might be some truth to that, considering that humans have dispropotiinally large penises compared to other apes and mammals. Thus far, most of human evolution happened within hunter gatherer societies (simply because those societal structures were around for much longer), where women had more selection power.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/25 08:42 AM
15

Even if you prefer an average penis, saying "I love your average penis" would probably cause offence. Average isn't seen as something worth complimenting. "I like your average boobs", "your average height is so hot". Sounds awkward, doesn't it? As for small penises, I've yet to meet a woman who expressed a preference for them.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/25 08:19 AM

I can share my pov, if you explain men's attraction to women first, so I get an idea of what structure and information you're looking for.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/25 07:33 PM

In what sense? How does it feel? How does it play out and develop? In any case it varies from person to person.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/25 07:02 PM

I don't want a ring 🙃
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/25 06:13 PM

Why are you proposing to someone you don't even know well enough to get their style?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/25 04:33 PM

It's the filler. It has the opposite effect intended.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/25 04:06 PM

I think her fans are mostly suburban moms.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/25 04:05 PM

I fully support that.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/25 03:51 PM

Isn't she 40?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/25 03:38 PM

So unoriginal. At least get me a ruby or sapphire 😤
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/25 03:36 PM

Women do indeed have more complex life motivations than smash everything with a pulse!! That doesn't mean we don't enjoy sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/25 02:14 PM

We enjoy sex, just not with everyone.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/25 01:59 PM

Balanced chubby men are kinda cute. Can't lie.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/25 01:46 PM

We are? I didn't get the memo.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/25 01:38 PM

But balanced chubby men exist too?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/25 01:37 PM

And people wonder why the men are lonely 🥲
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/25 01:22 PM

True.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/25 01:19 PM

Not cheating is easy actually 💁‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/25 01:18 PM

He didn't even love her enough to keep it in his pants lmao.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/25 01:08 PM

Edamame 🫛
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/25 01:06 PM

I low-key hate weddings, and I love a good party.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/25 12:14 PM

Is that the guy who threw a tantrum when he got caught cheating?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/25 12:05 PM

Congratulations 🙌
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/25 11:35 AM

I've been flirting with the idea of going full sober. I barely drink as it is and I don't really see the point.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/25 11:29 AM

Damn... Are we surrounded by closeted alcoholics?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/25 11:12 AM

Makes sense. But still it's so weird to me that's it's humanly possible to achieve emaciated looking legs paired with a belly that looks like it's about to burst.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/25 10:38 AM

Do you think it's the carbs or the alcohol?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/25 10:28 AM

Why do so many middle-aged men look pregnant? Skinny arms and legs and a HUGE belly.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/25 10:05 AM

You must be enormous.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/25 07:42 AM

We were together for 6 months. That's a long ass lunch.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/25 07:39 AM

Whops. Somehow missed the single bit. I'm not single.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/25 07:36 AM

You'd prefer someone to stick around just for the sake of it?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/25 07:31 AM

Wasn't feeling it.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/25 07:20 AM

I broke up with him.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/25 06:49 AM

I like them better when they stop shitting themselves.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/25 09:31 PM

I've got a lot of gay friends, and what I can say based on their experience is, men do appreciate men more for sex. But finding a man willing to settle down and be monogamous is hard af nowadays. At least for gen Z/ younger millennial men.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/25 07:00 PM

Personally, yes, but I don't think the straight women here would agree.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/25 06:19 PM

Sounds like a you problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/25 06:19 PM

Style absolutely is a part of someone's aesthetics, but I'm talking entirely nude bodies, laying artfully over beds, sofas and chaiselongs. My ideal woman is still more striking than my ideal man. Sorry (not sorry).
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/25 06:18 PM

Women are not attracted to men. Literally you two minutes ago.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/25 06:12 PM

Boy, we know. We're at the gym building butts and abs. Thing is, it doesn't really matter how much effort it takes. We're not measuring how hard you worked, just how aesthetically pleasing you are. It's not women's fault that we're naturally beautiful 💁‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/25 06:05 PM

Beep beep
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/25 06:01 PM

Not true. But women hit different 👯‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/25 05:58 PM

Smash.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/25 05:29 PM

Can't speak for India, but in western Europe it's realistic advice, and it's closer to Georgia than India.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/25 05:18 PM

Instead of answering your own question, elaborate.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/25 05:16 PM

Oh we're well aware.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/25 03:47 PM

That's the beigest breakfast menu I've ever seen.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/25 02:41 PM

Honestly, I wish. We're so cooked.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/25 02:04 PM

Crack lmao
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/25 01:47 PM

💀
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/25 01:44 PM

Yuh
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/25 01:43 PM

Yeah, the fashion industry isn't there yet. The idea of showing up full bush is pretty funny, except you'd be sent home.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/25 01:42 PM

You know gen z is different when we explicitly get told to wax before a lingerie shoot 😭 people be bushing.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/25 01:37 PM

Decreasingly so. At least in major cities, buying second hand spesifically to avoid supporting exploitative industries is not niche anymore.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/25 11:53 AM

Hardly comparable, but yes, many people do care about working conditions. Lots of people are pro-social.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/25 11:46 AM

You've got plenty of time. Don't sweat it. Focus of building a good life for yourself and it'll come.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/25 11:33 AM

It's pretty normal that you have better chemistry with someone over text than in person, or vice versa. Some people are awful texters, some people feel more confident over text, where they can take their time to formulate a clever response that they wouldn't have managed irl. That's why if you're on the apps, you should meet irl quickly, before making an impression of a person. Because truth is, you don't know them. The Internet isn't real life.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/25 11:18 AM

Do you have any qualms with supporting an exploitative industry, and do you think it would be worth it, looking back on your first time being with someone who doesn't want you?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/25 11:06 AM

Georgia is orthodox right? In which case, 22 isn't that old?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/25 10:38 AM

How old are you and what country do you live in?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/25 10:29 AM

Nothing screams rizz like the lead paint stare.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/25 10:10 AM

I took it less as working is so much fun! and more as I love the freedom that work affords me.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/25 07:44 PM

Based. A partner should add to your life, not be your lifeboat.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/25 07:29 PM

I've never measured a penis.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/25 07:27 PM

People who do a lot of anal typically take the necessary precautions, and most (same sex) couples who do anal don't do it regularly. This is similar to the American logic of instead of teaching our boys to wash their dicks and accept that teenagers will be masturbating, let's mutilate all the baby boys!
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/25 07:23 PM

Lmao that's bs.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/25 06:27 PM

Americans are such puritans.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/25 06:25 PM
3

Anal is kinky now?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/25 05:30 PM
1

That's sad. But good that your first dating experience was a good one.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/25 05:01 PM
1

The friends to lovers thing sounds so lovely, but I've never been able to re-categorised someone like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/25 04:48 PM
1

What happened?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/25 04:46 PM
1

Was it worth the wait?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/25 04:08 PM
1

Oh wow. You're incredibly flexible.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/25 04:00 PM
2

Alright. But I'm counting time spent dating, nothing one sided.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/25 04:00 PM
2

Valid. I have some friends that need to test the sex chem fast.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/25 03:58 PM
1

Nuanced take. I respect it.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/25 03:56 PM
2

That makes lots of sense. Good for you 🫶
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/25 03:56 PM
1

Can I ask how long it took for you to fall in love?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/25 03:48 PM
1

So you have a type. Valid.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/25 03:47 PM
1

Interesting.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/25 03:42 PM
1

And what's too early?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/25 03:39 PM
2

But according to the guys here AWAB
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/25 03:38 PM
1

Do you think it messing up their perception of sex can further hinder sexual success and fulfilment in the future? We're heard of the death grip, but psychologically? Since boys start watching porn so young, it makes me wonder if some guys that otherwise would have turned out alright romantically/sexually as they got older, end up missing out because of porn.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/25 03:38 PM
1

Or gay woman?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/25 03:34 PM
2

Q4A: If you're not the type to wait until marriage, what's the shortest and longest you'd wait to have sex with someone you start dating?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/25 03:33 PM
1

Chicken and egg. Seeing how young boys are when they start watching, I guess it's extra difficult to say.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/25 03:22 PM
1

I'd just unmatch with him after that message.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/25 02:01 PM
2

Do lonely guys have porn addictions because they're lonely, or are they lonely because they have porn addictions?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/25 01:32 PM
1

They all have glasses and most of them have a bowl cut. Whoever made this has a type.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/25 01:29 PM

It's ✨fresh✨
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/25 09:34 PM

Up until this album I only ever heard her music at H&M and karaoke. I want to go back to that.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/25 09:34 PM

It's sad. All that money and power and for what. I guess it's what living in a bubble from such a young age can do to a person.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/25 08:25 PM

You shoukd try mint leaves and ginger slices instead.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/25 08:16 PM

Every gen is pretty cringe tbh, but I think it's the lack of self awareness that makes it hard to stomach 🥲 that and how intensely her music is pushed everywhere on all platforms.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/25 08:16 PM

Yes.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/25 08:07 PM

Shit that makes a lot of sense. In many ways she is what millennial white women get mocked for.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/25 08:07 PM

Or you OD 😔
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/25 07:59 PM

I'd want to be like Enya. Make a few ethereal bestselling albums, never do any tours and then fuck off to my castle.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/25 07:52 PM

I heard her concert tickets sold for like 1000 dollars or some shit. Probably exaggerated but still. Aren't most of her fans under 18? It's expensive to parent nowadays 😥
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/25 07:26 PM

I canceled my subscription when I received my copy of the gay agenda.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/25 07:25 PM

Lmao that's such bs. Bad music is bad, wether a dude or a girl made it.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/25 07:18 PM

To what end 🥲 but tbh I never heard a song or hers that I liked. This is just the first time it's been RUBBED IN MY FACE
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/25 07:17 PM

(And yes I know there's nothing revolutionary about hating on her music but jfc 😭)
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/25 07:00 PM

Since that stupid album is freaking everywhere RN and I'm getting mad, I'm gonna take it out on you guys. Taylor Swift sounds like a parody of pop. What people who say they don't listen to pop think pop sounds like. All the cliches, be that melodically, lyrically or even the delivery, times ten. The hype is beyond me.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/25 06:57 PM

You're joking 😭
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/25 06:53 PM

Same to you! Friendship is a pillar of life.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/25 01:31 PM

That's worth something. The first heartbreak is pretty much always the worst.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/25 01:12 PM

Dating is just one of many perks.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/25 01:09 PM

Nothing wrong with crying. He knows I won't judge him. That would feel incestuous. We've been super close friends for years now.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/25 01:03 PM

It's tough, but I think it can help to just let yourself feel it, get it all out and then distract. Otherwise it can linger for an unreasonable amount of time.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/25 01:01 PM

Yeah. I kinda wanna let him ugly cry and eat for now, and then once he's got some of it out of his system he can drink IF he goes out dancing with me.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/25 12:58 PM

He's straight. I'm trying to keep him off the booze.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/25 12:50 PM

I'm modelling to finance my studies, if that means anything. Some friends have very similar experiences, others not at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/25 12:49 PM

I'm chronically in a relationship since I was 14. Longest I've been single since then was 9 months, and that was a choice because I wanted to try being single. It was fun while it lasted.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/25 12:44 PM

Yeah, he's not doing so good rn.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/25 12:42 PM
1

My friend just got dumped. I'm buying all the ice-cream flavours.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/25 11:14 AM
10

The main difference has been charisma and how much time they spend socialising outside of school/work.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/25 06:17 PM

Yes, I'm sure, but I really like to travel alone, to not follow a schedule, or a guide, anyone else.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/25 03:50 PM

Noted. That's too bad. India was one of the countries I wanted to visit most when I was little, and whilst I'm always willing to take some risks when traveling alone, even I have my limits.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/25 03:04 PM

I'm pretty sure the most it can do is smoothen someone out a bit. So she can go from a fat woman to a slightly smoother looking fat woman. Not fooling anyone.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/25 02:55 PM

Which cities?

As someone who loves to solo travel, I unfortunately wouldn't travel to India. I have heard too many bad stories from fellow travelers, and feeling unsafe wouldn't exactly make for a fun trip. It's really a shame, because there are so many beautiful things in India that I would love to explore.

The perks of being pretty go far beyond dating. You receive more kindness, generosity, access to exclusive places, free stuff, benefit of doubt to name a few.

Spanx doesn't make people thinner. Where would the fat even go?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/25 02:34 PM

This. I've never once felt sad about missing out on something with anyone because I wasn't clear enough. Seems like a made up issue. Most likely you aren't missing any signs in the first place, and if you are, you likely weren't compatible anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/25 12:40 PM

Yep.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/25 06:32 PM

Fuck that's awesome.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/25 03:33 PM

I don't mean hanging out with already established friends. I mean for meeting new people.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/25 02:13 PM

Surely men like men a littlebit too.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/25 02:12 PM

Women too.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/25 02:07 PM

Peace is nice. (I'm aware it was an illusion in my bubble, but it was sweet)
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/25 02:06 PM

They probably weren't. I was likely just to little to understand. Ignorance is bliss.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/25 01:54 PM

Those were just examples. Bouldering seems to be as popular with men as with women though.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/25 01:53 PM

Oooh it's secret? 👀
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/25 01:52 PM

I see. I've moved so many times I lost count, and it's been so nice to have these low bar social events to quickly connect with people.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/25 01:52 PM

Fair. Not everyone lives expanding their social circle, but what do you do if you move?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/25 01:33 PM

I don't know actually.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/25 01:31 PM

Sure, but that requires you already knowing people. What do you do if you just moved somewhere?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/25 01:31 PM

Sure, but even then there are less spontaneous events that don't require a membership. And what about non-sporty men?

Here it makes you seem focused and ambitious, which are considered attractive traits.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/25 01:29 PM
6

No. I'm European.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/25 01:27 PM

womanese What?

They're just normal looking. Not ugly, not turning any heads.

They're doing well dating. Their study/career focus during their early adulthood hasn't been a hinder. If anything it's made them more attractive than average.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/25 01:19 PM

There are so many women in my city organising various meetups for us ladies. Paint and sip, yoga, dancing, crochet, book clubs, bouldering, walks and so on. Yet I don't see men doing anything equivalent. Why do you think that is?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/25 01:14 PM

I miss when politics were boring.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/25 01:08 PM

Yeah. I know several men and women who waited a long time to start dating because they were hyperfocused on studies/work. They're fine.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/25 01:04 PM

He needs to wash his hands.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/25 12:21 PM

It's easy to be a girl's girl if you have high standards for your friends. If they're making you feel bad they're not worth your time and effort. Focus on people, men or women, who bring out the best in you.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/25 12:20 PM

Just date poly people then.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/25 10:04 AM

That's OK! Usually people don't scrutinise other people as much as we think they do. And if they do, that's their problem 🤷‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/25 07:23 PM

I'm sure you looked lovely. A real bare face is underrated.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
