Who needs upvotes? I've got people getting offended over dumb shit to laugh at.

Sure you can stop crying over the mean facebook post long enough?

And I mean nobody gives a shit other than harpies.

You and I must live on different planets then. I see/hear sexist jokes about women pretty regular, and for the most part, nobody gives a shit. The only people bitching about it are SJW harpies. If this is /r/SocialJusticeForMen, so be it. I'm really not a fan of political correctness on any front, though.

I think they like to claim 2%. I also think anyone with a functioning brain knows that's bullshit.

I'm wrong for giving her the benefit of the doubt and assuming that she, like most of the population, is capable of comprehending a joke rather than assuming she's a psycho feminazi who thinks it's acceptable to physically stomp on men? I mean, it's pretty clear the post is meant as a joke, and it's also pretty clear that the "stomping" is meant to be metaphorical to anyone who's 1) not in a coma and 2) not actively seeking an excuse to be offended

The "outrage" would be from the retarded tumblr SJWs that this place is starting to remind me of.

Ridiculous shit like this is why I unsubbed from /r/MensRights with my old account. I guess over time I forgot how bad it really was, so when I made my new account, I subbed again. Lesson learned. These people are male-centric SJWs. I'm going back to /r/TumblrInAction.

No, s/he's right. Anyone who finds this offensive should probably stay indoors wrapped in several layers of bubble wrap.

I'm just saying it's not unusual for a parent to have rules about that kinda stuff. Then what's the relevance of this at all? Your original question was whether or not it's unreasonable. Whether it's unusual or not has no impact at all on whether it's reasonable.
/r/MensRights15/03/14 12:41 AM

I never said it was unusual. But "common" is not a synonym for "reasonable."

Judging by your post history, you're either a troll or a lunatic. Don't really care which, trying to communicate with either is pointless. Later.
/r/MensRights04/03/14 10:09 PM

Okay, crazy person. Everybody who doesn't support you and your insanity must be an SRSer, and if their entire post history displays opposition to SRS, then they're an undercover SRSer. Are you actually processing what you're saying right now?
/r/MensRights04/03/14 10:04 PM
4

Yeah. Not like I'm a /r/SRSSucks subscriber or anything. Not like I postd 4 fucking hours ago in /r/SRSSucks pointing out racism in an SRSer. Anyone who doesn't agree with every fucking thing every bitter delusional dickwad who finds this sub posts must be a misandric SRSer. Jesus, you're a fucking nut.
/r/MensRights04/03/14 10:02 PM

How the fuck is linking to a person's own words "character assassination?" It's not "misandry" to call a dude out for saying fucked-up shit any more than it's "misogyny" to call a woman out for saying fucked-up shit. Get a grip. Holy shit. Still not sure where you're getting the idea that I support SRS.

What "misandric crap" am I supporting? What the fuck are you even talking about? Fuck am I supposed to know about Laurelai? Fucking loon.

She did not offer any reason as to why she sexually assaulted the airman. Looking at her, I can posit a hypothesis. McDonough disagreed with the state about the case being handled as any other sex assault crime. If, for example, the 25-year-old, physically fit airman attempted to rape Griffiths, she’d likely fear for her life. Conversely, the airman could have left Griffiths’ home when he first awoke, but he didn’t, he said. Oh look. Victim-blaming. “You’re looking at sending a lady to prison th…

Retards vote all kinds of stupid shit into being, and will continue to do so with or without Nancy Grace's assfuckery.
/r/MensRights21/02/14 03:46 PM

It really does. Anyone who actually gives a shit what Nancy Grace has to say is so stupid as to be utterly meaningless in every way possible.
/r/MensRights21/02/14 01:55 AM

She's rich and on the air because half the people giving her ratings are just watching to see what the looney bitch will say next.
/r/MensRights21/02/14 01:37 AM

Nancy Grace is such a retarded cunt that nobody with more than three functioning brain cells takes a word she has to say seriously anyway. At least half her ratings are likely masochists who actually enjoy the feeling of their own brains beating against their skulls trying to kill itself.

It's fucking ridiculous. Nobody's saying they should have to do these things. But the fact of the matter is that bad people do bad things. So what you should or shouldn't have to do in an ideal society isn't always the way it works, and really isn't relevant to the discussion at all.

If this were going on where I live, I'd stop carrying a purse and start carrying a can of mace. But I'd never expect someone to step in front of a gun for the sake of my purse. I'd opt for an LC9, personally.

My boss's boss is a woman. And she's been wary of hiring women ever since the whole Adria Richards thing went down, even for any of our several internships. And it sucks, because those internships are a great way to break into the industry and get some of that much-needed experience even before graduating college (they're even well-paid internships.) And as a red-blooded male, I like having ladies around. But it's hard to justify the risk at this point.

No. Paranoia is referring to accurate assessments as "shaming tactics." Stop being so defensive. It's not attractive. You thanked me. I just wanted to make sure you understood why thanking me wasn't necessary. I'm assuming that you're at least almost as smart as you think you are, so I'm guessing you get it now?

you have no value to offer the community Much like the rest of "the community." In any event, there's no attempt to "shame" here, and there's no need to thank me at all. I'm doing everyone a service. The confused, the bitter, and the socially inept will flock to your community for guidance from the self-proclaimed "alphas" of the internet while everyone capable of managing their lives without subscribing to archaic ideologies can be relieved of any misgivings regarding TRP's value structure. It'…

I'm neither "TBP" nor a feminist. Nor have I read more than a few of your threads since I was banned several accounts ago. As it stands, you're much more comparable to TBP/SRS and feminists than I ever will be in that your own words make the best argument for avoiding your doctrines. Feel free to continue making assumptions, though. I can see how that would be a hard habit to break when that's how you derive your entire outlook on life.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/14 08:59 PM

It doesn't matter. TRP espouses 18th century gender roles as a main tenet of their ideology, backing it with anecdotes and pseudoscientific conjecture based on various trends and data as is convenient. It's purely dogmatic, and as rejecting Christ as having been reincarnated would preclude one from being accepted as Catholic, rejecting 18th century gender roles precludes one from being TRP. It begins and ends with their dogma. If you do not accept their dogma, you are not a redpiller. It's that …

I know. That's why I'm upvoting you. I want people to see exactly what your dogma consists of.

I don't get why you're being downvoted for the truth. Granted, the 18th century view on gender roles is one of the many reasons that I and others stay away from and openly mock TRP, but at the end of the day, what you are providing here is an accurate reflection of TRP ideology. Only thing I can figure is that people think these views are backwards, if not downright absurd, and would prefer to see a "puppy dogs and rainbows" understanding of TRP. But that's no reason to downvote. If anything, yo…

Right again. It's true, even if the disparity is so small as to be meaningless compared to the disparity in divorce initiation. Sex survey. This survey shows that divorced men were twice as likely to have been unfaithful. This data set is a decade old and shows men cheating with nearly twice the frequency of women. ETA: "nearly"

Right. I definitely agree with you on that point. Guess I just got a little too distracted by false info in the example to remember that there was actually a larger point being made that didn't rely on the factuality of that example. Mea culpa.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/14 07:26 PM

Example 1. Example 2. Example 3. That enough, or should I consider viewing more than two or three comments on a handful of their front page posts? ETA: Here's a fun one: the feminized zeitgeist forces abysmal dating advice upon each and every guy in our culture And that's from an understanding of the "good" material that allegedly composes 90% of TRP.

I think it was originally meant to be flirtatious banter, but at some point along the line, PUAs missed the point and a bunch of bitter divorcees latched onto it and it ended up turning into this twisted show of disrespect that supposedly gets women instantly wet.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/14 06:43 PM

IIRC, men and women are approaching parity in terms of cheating as women more frequently take on careers and more independence, and additionally, a relationship is more likely to survive infidelity on the male's part than the female's. So that explanation doesn't really work.
