2	How do I progress cardio? What I did is aim for Tabata-intervals (8 x 20/10) while starting out easy with five intervals and 20/20 work/rest split. Then remove 1 or 2 seconds from the rest when you feel it's getting manageable (every third session maybe). Instead of shortening rest for a third time (or before removing more than 4 sec of rest), add one interval instead. And continue this until reaching the proper Tabata specs.
