The body positivity movement was founded to combat anorexia and body dysmorphia in women, an issue that persists today in women destroying themselves to fit a specific idea, not to force you to date fat women. If any of you gave even an ounce of an iota of a shit about men with body dysmorphia fucking themselves up with steroids you'd do something similar instead of whining about feminists.

I'm no economist so if you insist I'll take your word for it. The latter also doesn't really exist, except in the minds of the professionally offended You can argue that society isnt officially controlled by men who see women as sex objects but you cant argue they don't exist. There's someone in this thread alone who told me without ambiguity that a woman's role begins and ends at giving her husband a child

Just pay back your loan with interest in an oversaturated job market with stagnating wages while the economy is shutdown for a pandemic bro No it wouldn't, because biology There's a difference between being sexually attracted to women and thinking they have no value beyond being fucktoys. The former is biology and the latter is social.

Want to know what men do when they're in shitty financial situations? They take responsibility and claw their way up. Get this job, save, upgrade, save, upgrade, etc. Or if you're from where I'm from they sell drugs and rob people. Most of these only fans are 18-25 year olds that still have their parents to fall back on. They never went to school or bothered to work at all in the real world. You know how expensive college is, right? Especially for the jobs your suggesting. Moreover, a lot of the…

Onlyfans consists of women (majority of whom are in shitty financial situations where they can't just "get" a respectable job that "contributes to society," whatever that means) profiting off of female objectification. Misogyny and female objectification has existed for centuries due to significantly larger factors. It will exist with or without porn. It's ultimately pragmatic that these women take advantage of the shittier aspects of society, and it's far more humane than the porn industry.

>When they can then how they feel about that man or felt about that man is irrelevant, how they now feel, that they are the provider so no longer need him is what matters, as such leaving the relationship or divorcing, depending on status of the relationship increases by a massive amount. Your wording completely ignores the idea that the relationship could be legitimately unhealthy or unsuccessful and places all the blame on a woman being too greedy. I think the takeaway should not be "There's no point in working hard because no woman will be dependent on you" but instead should be "Women aren't economically dependent on men anymore so if she's with you she probably actually likes you."

I've spent a lot of time around lesbians and I know women have the ability to be indulgently attracted to a gender like men can, so I don't think it's just a biological thing To be perfectly honest, I just dont think a lot of men make an effort to look like women do, and male fashion also doesn't look like women's fashion. I know many men on this subreddit will yell at me about how long they spend at the gym, but that will hardly matter when you leave the house in a baggy dark colored hoodie and…

I've been on a regular fasting and exercise regiment since the end of may, and I still feel extremely fat. My stomach protrudes in my clothes, and even though my friends will point out that I've lost weight I continue to feel stagnant and I'm sure outsiders see that as well. Yeah but the more intense the course work gets the harder it is to go out and slang pipe. If you dont already have a girlfriend the MIT course work is going to affect your ability to go out and have sex just by value of how the workload affects people's time frames. This is also ignoring that a lot of stem guys tend to be high inhib and socially constrained.

This is honestly the biggest concern with TRP and PUA stuff. At the end of the day you have a group of men encouraged to have as much sex as possible regardless of ethical implications while you teach them to have self centered and dehumanizing perspectives, then getting them involved with women in very delicate situations, then they act like bad shit happening to women is their fault or out of anyone's control. Mr. Peterson illustrates his arguments with copious references to ancient myths — bringing up stories of witches, biblical allegories and ancient traditions. I ask why these old stories should guide us today. “It makes sense that a witch lives in a swamp. Yeah,” he says. “Why?” It’s a hard one. “Right. That’s right. You don’t know. It’s because those things hang together at a very deep level. Right. Yeah. And it makes sense that an old king lives in a desiccated tower.” But witches don’t exist, …

If you jack off five times a day your brain will turn to oatmeal and if you hop from partner to partner while being terrified of forming a healthy relationship you're going to get baggage. Both can have negative effects if overdone, but most people dont overdo it and extremists on both sides readily use exaggerations to make their arguments. The reason women generally look better and insist on improving their appearance is because women have a sense of self image and see actual value in being attractive on its own merits, a concept you readily reject despite it being the answer to your query about why.

I was thinking about this specific topic while reading the El Paso shooter's manifesto, and how I felt it related to the way I hear so many men talk about themselves, white supremacists or otherwise. There's a societal and sometimes circumstantial expectation from men to take more initiative and make subjects if themselves, which manifests often as committing violence. There's more incentive and expectation for men to act and be violent, while women typically are expected to internalize their an…

Society offers men a significantly larger lot than it offers women when it comes to being "lied to." Men are told to grow up and be a good worker or soldier and you'll get a wife that loves you to death, two kids, and a nice suburban home and then they grow up and have depression and a shitty apartment. Women are not promised what men are promised, so there is less for them to be disappointed by.

The issue with pill philosophies is that they are, like you said, essentially people talking personal observations and feelings and rationalizing them. In the end, most philosophies are because all humans are emotional creatures and all of our worldviews are just us justifying and trying to understand our own experiences and connecting with those who are like us, but the issue comes when we try to turn this dogma into an inflexible fact of life we are all doomed to follow, and it leads to us hat…

Marriage is a means of ensuring you can concentrate your wealth and pass it on to your children, biological or otherwise. It gives LGBT people similar financial rights as cishet people, we get the same tax benefits among other things, and it also serves as a win on principal, to show that our love is no less valid than a straight person's. I do think on a personal level marriage is pretty fuckin arbitrary but damn they're fun lmao.

I'm quite an optimist and believe in the value of humans, so I like to imagine that men do things because they believe that doing things have intrinsic value and not just to have sex, if only because if you only do things exclusively for sex I doubt you'll achieve anything meaningful. They compared it to being poor and hungry. That alone implies that the way men focus on sex is akin to a poor person focusing on making ends meet, enough that a woman not having to focus on it frees up a non negligent amount if your time. If all you're saying is that men devote more time to sex but not enough to have any meaningful impact then that doesn't really encourage me to care that much.

I feel like a lot of men are partial to the idea of selling it as constant unending horniness because they can attach a sense of biological urgency and necessity to it, but I've never been a fan of biological determinism. Your idea of a society where both men and women are allowed to choose their own partners, but are socially prevented from having too many casual relationships sounds like a weird fantasy of what may have been. I guess it's not entirely invalid but it sounds closer to our current situation than any older society
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/19 11:14 PM
3

In a truly traditional environment women aren't picking their partners. They're being told by the guardians who they will date and sleep with, or they'll be expected to go with the first man to show interest in them and be approved of by their guardians, which doesn't actually ensure a good husband. Which is ignoring that a traditional society doesn't really stop men from having a bunch of sex, it just controls women's agency in that situation.

The issue is less "Men need to stop seeking validation through sex" and more "we need to open pathways of affection, gender expression, and self validation so that the only way to feel happy and validated isn't to have heterosexual sex with conventionally attractive women." Most scientists agree that whatever influence there is is questionable enough that sex and gender can be categorized as different. "Some women are trans (those who have a male sex assignment that does not align with their gender identity),[1] or intersex (those born with sexual characteristics that do not fit typical notions of male or female" the wikipedia article you linked disagrees with you. Also men and transwomen can't be that different from women cuz you've been calling me female UwU

Well, they can, but it's a different context. If a white man told me he was only attracted to men, then that'd be fine, but a white man saying he's only attracted to Asian women is a cause for concern. The vast majority of rapes either occur as the result of men believing their serving a higher purpose or because the men do not see the scenario as rape or inherently wrong. Money is infinitely reproduceable. It can be gained in ways that have no meaningful connction to others. In order to have a lot of sex, you have to have it with another person. That means getting someone to have sex with you. The issue that people have with the red pill is that it often (but not always) encourages men to act in way that are coercive and abusive in order to get women to have sex with them. There are women who support class structures. There's a growing contingent of women who oppose them. Women can have sex with who they please, as long as their actions aren't overtly deleterious. Even if you believe social circumstances has literally no effect on human behavior, let me ask: if those women who exclusively have sex with men who they deem productive had to live in a socialist society, what would they do? /r/PurplePillDebate12/07/19 09:14 PM

You don't even become a sexual nothing in this society without status and wealth, assuming you're somewhat attractive and/or can provide a good time. Do you think they'd be without options in a society that redefines human worth as independant of the profit you produce?

Apparently not that much considering the large and growing perentage of women vocally in support of socialism and socialist policies. You aren't going to get much pussy as Chris Hemsworth but I can assure you you aren't competing with him for a girlfriend. Because it ensures at least some access to sex Many men will argue that they're more interested in a relationship or affection, but let's pursue that angle. Why are men so collectively desperate for sex in comparison to women, where they created a situation where women can freely take their pick from a pool of men? He's an ass hat and a PUA. He's isn't overly RP and a poor representation of it. Look at a guy like Rian Stone. That's someone who accurately portrays RP. I haven't reviewed all of th…

women would rather fuck a small % of men Of course. Men would rather fuck a small % of women. Humans in general want the fittest, most sexually attractive partners, which is typically a small percent. Women can make that choice because so many men make extremely scatter shot dating choices, trying to go after the most women possible, not to mention gender differences on dating apps, so women can choose the more attractive men among the sea of bachelors in her notifications. But why are so many m…

Some people on twitter may call you a clown for saying something bigoted but you'd be surprised how often I've seen people just do and say callous things with no repurcussions, both in real life and online. Hell, you can even make a following out of being a prejudiced asshole i.e. Bolsonaro, the self proclaimed proud homophobe. People do naturally have a degree of empathy, but it tends to stretch mostly to people in their group. Being taught to extend that empathy to "out groups" and see other p…

On an individual level, people can fail, and tragic as it is, it's acceptable. But if a whole group uniformly suffers, that's an issue, and that's the idea that unnerves me. The first thing about a solution is that it has to be tailored to the problem, and it requires an analysis of why that problem exists. So, what's the problem?

There's not much of a reward to not being racist if you're white, or not being an ally if you're straight. Both are extremely important however, so we try to teach people empathy and selflessness. How do we incentivize empathy then?

The blue pill has empathy for men. It just doesn't believe any male problem justifies taking away women's rights. Which is the issue with every black pill/red pill solution, it always involves denying women some level of agency or happiness so a guy can have sex.

She is an outlier, and those men were also outliers. But the thing is that men who become serial killers are outliers, and so are their fangirls. The point I'm trying to make isn't necessarily about her, or the bail, or weaboos that call women who assault men real life yanderes, but about the capacity for people to be sexually attracted to and interested in violent criminals. I think we focus on the way women end up fangirls for evil men, when men have the capacity to do the same for women. Yuka…

The fact that the crowdfunding got to 3000$ in the first place is proof enough of the point im trying to make. My point is that the ability to be attracted to and fascinated by serial killers/violent criminals isn't a female only trait and if more women engaged in brazen acts of violence like her we'd see more men acting like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/19 02:14 PM

I mean Yuka Takaoka literally had men fawning over her, making fanart of her and trying to pay her bail. It's more the natural consequence of people's attractions to the scary and the strange and an inability to tell fantasy from reality. If more women were serial killers and murderers, we'd see more men sending them love letters and shit

I like riding my bike and doing cardio a lot, but I kind of hate going to a gym, mostly because my dad used to force me to go to the gym all the time, but I do understand the necessity of lifting weights and I wanna go back to that. I like fasting though mostly cuz I already can go periods of time without eating without even thinking, and the look I truly want is to be a femboy become more slim and maybe a little skinny.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/19 11:52 PM

Yeah. I never realized just how much I planned my days around food! Doesn't help I have an oral fixation and general issues with impulse control But I feel like this has been really good for me so far and I already have experience, having had to involuntarily fast my first year of college. I don't feel as tired or as full as I used to anymore.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/19 11:36 PM

That's noble and I understand. Most of my own struggles with fasting have been more of a mental thing than a physical one, so it may be me projecting too hard.

You are correct, but not entirely. Also I did leave out that I drink tea regularly, even (or especially) when I fast, so that certainly helped. It's possible if you drink too much water. You can flush out your salts and go into cardiac arrest, but it's not a hard and fast rule. The biggest issue with researching this is with how many conflicting opinions there are on the subject. I've even seen the electrolyte decrease described as a good thing. So I guess what I really mean is "I got by without…

I have yet to do a water fast for full multiple days but yeah, you can water fast for multiple days. You can take electrolyte supplements but they aren't necessary. You can get by with water (or any liquid within reason) for a good while. The majority of the difficulty regarding water fasting is more mental ("Damn I want to eat, that food looks good, I'm craving x, this is boring I want to eat dinner) than physical.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/19 09:21 PM

The first day I tried to totally water fast I just went to work (I work in food service, end me) and drank water when I was thirsty. To deal with my oral fixation I mostly chewed gum. Typically I just don't eat until the afternoon, then I set a time between then and when I go to bed where I'll eat, but not too much, about 6 or 8 hours? It's a fast and loose thing but it's doing alright for me
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/19 09:13 PM

When I woke up in the morning my stomach was the flattest it's been in a while. I've never felt more motivation to keep trying to fast. Right now I've been doing sporadic intermittent fasting. Try to go most of the day without eating, then have a small meal followed by a larger one, maybe some snacking afterwards, and significantly less red meat. What I truly want to do is completely water fast for multiple days but holy shit is it hard

You're significantly more likely to get raped as a man then you are to ever have someone falsely accuse you of rape. Hell, You're more likely to get hi…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/19 08:47 PM

The app misses the point entirely and seems like it's designed to allow men to do whatever they want so long as they can force that initial yes. The entire point of active, enthusiastic consent is that people are supposed to have communication during sex. Consent is given and in the case that one partner starts acting in a way that hurts or makes the other partner uncomfortable they can revoke that consent.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/19 08:23 PM

So women just go around campaigning and working to get things they don't actually want for no meaningful reason.

See here I was trying to pose a consequence to your actions that you'd care about because it's clear you give zero fucks about the idea of raping someone but then you say this. Are you saying it's a bigger danger to get falsely accused of rape than to be charged for actually raping someone?

/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/19 07:27 AM
1

Obviously you'd be missing that one thing, sex, but about 60 to 80 percent of the things people look for in sex can be found somewhere else in my opinion. I think It'd be possible, but in our sex charged societies where you get compared to others it's comparatively more difficult.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/19 06:51 AM
1

I don't think both need to be satisfied in the same way from the same source at the same time but I acknowledge your viewpoint.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/19 04:23 AM
1

Both of what? The satisfying your libido and good companionship?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/19 04:11 AM
1

Sorry for giving you the run around then. It'd be possible but pretty rough in our current society
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/19 04:05 AM
5

So, completely divorced of social expectations, of matters of affection and being touched and having someone who loves you, of any sociological affects, men just, by nature, need to put their penis inside a vagina or else they will suffer. So a man can just walk up to a wall with someone's pussy exposed through a hole, fuck it, get their nut, and leave, and they will be perfectly happy because they completed their biological imperative?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/19 04:02 AM
1

So, what you really meant was that is it possible for someone to be happy sexless in our current society? Then I have to answer a flexible no. It's possible to live a fulfilling life in some ways, but with how affection and physical intimacy tends to be locked behind sex/having a significant other, ESPECIALLY for men, that would be fairly hard to do.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/19 03:51 AM
6

No, why do you ask? Now, do you mean the biological imperative to reproduce or to simply fornicate? If it's the latter, then humans have been frequently shirking that duty in a variety of ways since we began to exist, and if it's the latter then everyone's in that boat.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/19 03:48 AM
4

Does it have to be a woman he has sex with? Why does he need it to feel validated, specifically as a man? What is so inherently irreplaceable about putting your penis in a vagina that gives you the strength to move on?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/19 03:33 AM
7

Maybe. But it's possible to be celibate and live a happy fulfilling live as long as you fill that social aspect. If you're celibate and totally alone, you'll absolutely go crazy. But what is it that you're specifically getting from sex that can't be replaced with close friendships and some vigorous masturbation when necessary? Can't being touch starved be fixed with some hugging, perhaps platonic cuddling (yes that's a thing)?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/19 01:44 AM
24

We typically associate sexlessness with total emotional and physical isolation. If a person went without sex, but still had friends they could be happy and close to, I think they'd be totally fine. It wouldn't be as exciting, but a lot of the desire for sex comes from a desire for social validation and the embrace of another human being.

First, the second thing I was saying waz in response to his inquiry on the article, not on lesbian bed death. The concept of lesbian bed death is more of a pernicious myth than anything. It's based on one old study with questionable methodology. The statistics are based around orgasms per sexual encounter, it's not really a recounting type thing.

There's a quote I heard a while back that went along the lines of "Men consider bad sex boring, while women consider bad sex painful." Being the penetrated party in a sexual encounter comes with risks and usually requires that the partner have your full trust and be considerate of your safety and desire to orgasm. This leads to a lot of women being significantly more wary of their sexual partners, or avoiding sexual intimacy all together when they think it won't end well for them. I think the fa…
