I completely agree that there is always room for improvement. I understand your example, but losing weight is not part of what makes me, me. I am not my body. My body carries me around. I can strive for a nicer body, but who I am, at my core, is not changed by the numbers on the scale or the size of my pants. Losing weight, getting rid of clutter, perfecting a new recipe, learning to play an instrument; they are nice, but those things are superficial. They are great, don't get me wrong. Those ar…

With respect, you'll have to explain what you mean by more open and by softer. I figured that he would deserve to know what he was getting into. So everything on the table at the beginning would be the best idea.

I do understand where you're coming from, and I don't consider it flippant. It's a valid question. I am intensely aware of guys want. Like you said, pretty and sweet. I am so much more than that. I am by no means ugly, but nor am I a super model. The reason for makeup is to cover blemishes, right? I don't have any. My skin isn't perfect, but it's pretty darn good. Makeup makes me break out HORRIBLY. Why do that to myself? Cover up my skin with crap that makes me break out, so that I have to cove…

If I'm understanding the theory of RPW correctly, women submit to men in relationships. That, I have no problem with. Men being leaders or head of household, that is just fine. I can submit to someone who earns my respect. Yes, that means he'll have to work for it. If he's worked for it and earned it, then I know he can handle doing the things necesary for him to be the leader or head of house, then that's one thing I can relax on and focus on other areas. That makes my job easier. I will still …

Thank you. I hope your journey goes well, too.

Do you mean temper as changing, or temper as becoming harder? When you temper a sword, it becomes harder, stronger and doesn't break. People do the same thing. When exposed to hard conditions people become tough. Now I'm not saying that I've had the worst life imaginable, not by a long shot. I know there are a lot of folk who are in worse places than I am. But my life has not been easy, either. What I have gone through has tempered me. What is left of me, is the stuff that didn't break. I can ch…

I don't agree with every part of red pill thinking. I am completely capable of taking care of myself. I have before. But I know I'm stubborn, and with the shit I have gone through, if I want another relationship, I don't want someone I can walk over. So if it's a choice of changing who I am or being alone, I guess it will be alone. I'd rather be with someone, but I won't change who I am for them. I realize it might be asking a lot. But I believe that what I need is just as important as my partne…

Hence my problem. I'm not going to find that.

I need someone who can handle me. Respectfully, if that isn't the right attitude, what is?

I admit, it'd be nice to find someone who can take me in hand, but I hold no illusions. The chances of finding someone who both wants me and can handle me, is slim to none.

I believe that one can have respect without submission, but one cannot submit without respect. I don't really see how I can submit to customers though. Respect absolutely, but not so much submission. But that might just be how I do things. Yes, I respect my parents, and I'll listen, but I don't always do what they say. And I do just about everything I can to avoid the attention of law enforcement. So I will agree that I do submit to laws. When it comes to people, I feel that they have to earn my…

I must be a weird woman then. I believe that if they want my submission, they have to earn it. I also run my own business. I must be one of those outliers on his graph...

It all comes down to simply "Be nice". Keep what your partner needs in mind. Whether it's 4 or 40 things; it sums up to: be nice, be thoughtfull, be reasonable, be responsible. Sadly, that's something not a lot of people are anymore.

They are simply people. They come in as many shapes and sizes that men do. But it does seem to be a preponderance of woman who are taking care of themselves and looking to better themselves too.

"Respect half-given is not respect at all." Well said.
