She turned down a deal that would've allowed her to see freedom in her 40s or 50s. Possibly sooner even in her 30s because she would've had the chance to get out on good behavior or changes in laws, etc. Now she will get no chance at parole and everything went down how it should've. She got what she deserved.

i'd rather get punched/slapped anywhere on my face other than the ears. it's SO fucking painful. and it throws your balance completely out of whack, too. if you get punched right in the ear, the fight is over. you're immediately rendered useless

can you give me specific examples of the conservative stereotypes? i can already tell you that the far ends of both parties are ridiculous. to be clear, i am not into politics at all. but i have reached my saturation point with both sides behaving like children and i am extremely tired of the fake outrage. but i believe the media is mostly responsible for that. sorry, i am only just now seeing your question and i didn't take it for trolling. i will gladly answer anything you're curious about.

literally same. as a slightly left-leaning, but mostly centralist all of my life while mostly avoiding politics like the plague, i'm now beginning to see the stereotypes about the left that i've been hearing about are very, very true and my mind is blown. i thought it was all just political hubris and exaggeration! how wrong i was. lost a lot of respect for quite a few people who thought it was ok for the Black Israelites (adults) to hurl racist insults at children because of what they were wear…

it's so, so fucked up. it's been about 2 weeks since i watched that season, and it still leaves me feeling some type of way.

i also just want to point out that i, too, also noticed how she made a miraculous(!) recovery the instant she had completely drained her husband's savings account. i didn't want that part of your post to go unnoticed, because it was by far the most fucked up part of the show. imo, Pilar was just having a huge quarter-life crisis. she wasn't as young and hot as she was, and she was approaching 30. So she wouldn't be getting much more acting jobs on the strength of her young, decent-ish looks like…

So I think that her condition may actually be her way of coping with having an actual relationship with someone who treats her like she is an actual person. you really hit the mark on this one. i dated a girl for a few years that was SOOOOO much like Bekah. she pretty much did the same exact thing you just described. weird, shieldy defense mechanism

and then once the house was pretty much completely gutted, she pretty much insisted they leave NYC for a place like Martha's Vineyard, as though they are multi-millionaires. on kind of the same subject, when they were in the car talking about how their insurance won't cover the Martha's Vineyard treatments, and she goes "Cha-ching!", i cringed so hard i pulled a few muscles.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
