agreed, but there's nothing wrong with being sorry that a situation exists without implying responsibility. Remorse isn't always the cause of sorrow. I know it's a detail, and I always upvote the "don't apologize for the actions of your gender" responses here. But there's nothing wrong for anyone to simply say "I'm sorry that people are that dumb to you" when it doesn't claim responsibility. Again, I realize the way she worded it DID seem to claim some... But I don't want us to run away from eff…

The main reason your argument is invalid is because when genders are reversed, all you've done is given the verbatim pro-life stance as to why abortion should be illegal. men literally have no "plan B." On her whim, your next 18 years can be severely altered.

I'm not sure we have enough data as far as the relationship over the past year. How much contact did she have with you and the kid? Is there any reason she would feel like you were keeping him from her? Going to school to pick him up unbeknownst to the mom was a bad call, regardless of your right to do so.
