Same with my dad. I had to stop looking at him abandoning my brother and I as a negative thing and as a positive. If my mom didn’t divorce him she would be miserable and if he hadn’t left to raise his other family then my life would be very different. We’re friends on Facebook so I see what he posts and he’s very stupid. I’m better off without him in my life. Him leaving will always be a blessing and the best thing he ever did for me.

I turn 22 in September and I already feel this. I tell everyone being single is the best thing ever. I can do whatever I want whenever I want. It’s pretty great being selfish and putting myself first. I may never give up being single tbh lol. I love it too much

I added her entire album to my playlist without listening to it first. This song came on and I’m like damn this song is so good.

I agree. I don’t really want kids but if I did decide to have some then I’d rather adopt or get inseminated and not have the father present.

After my mom had me she decided to tie her tubes so she wouldn’t get pregnant anymore. The doctor wouldn’t do it without my dad’s permission and when she could finally get an appointment my dad canceled for her without her consent. Men are so stupid and doctors that require a man’s permission for a woman’s body are also very stupid.

Fr tho! I don’t really like my last name but my kids aren’t having their dad’s last name nor am I taking his last name. It’d be easier to divorce him if I didn’t take his last name too.

When my aunt was in labor with my cousin the baby daddy decided to go to a boat show in another state. She had to drive herself to the hospital while having labor pains. A few years after my cousin was born they finally broke up. He tried to get full custody of my cousin just to hurt my aunt.

Good lord! Pregnancy has never seemed worth it to me but knowing all the other health issues that can occur has definitely made me realize I never want to be pregnant. I’ve learned more about pregnancy on Reddit than I ever did in school.

I’m a night auditor at a hotel and I see married men come in with hookers all the time. It’s so gross and I feel so bad for the wives.

I’m so glad you broke up with him. You don’t need that kind of negativity in your life!

Right like I don’t have any kids so I don’t really know the healing process but I do know it’s not an overnight thing. The woman needs time. She went through a traumatic experience.

I’m glad I found this group because I saw a post awhile back where everyone was saying don’t mention your past traumas to your SO otherwise they’ll throw it in your face. This post has solidified me not sharing my traumas with men now. I don’t understand how guys think it’s okay to do things like this. It really baffles me.

Same thing happened to me. Having a terrible woman boss is the worst. I gave her respect just because she was a woman in a leadership position. Never again will I just blindly respect someone. It literally only took me one week to see through her facade and three weeks later she fired me for no reason. At first I was sad but later on I realized her firing me was the best thing she ever did for me.

Thank you! Grandmas are the best. Mine always tells me that men are useless and that I don’t need a man. Yours is proud of you ❤️

We got Tinashe tickets for May and we’re taking my grandma again. She doesn’t know who she is or anything about her really so this should be funny

I saw her live three years ago for her Mad Love tour and she’s amazing. I went with my friend, my mom and my grandma. My grandma had no idea who she was and only saw her in the Robin Williams movie but she was really impressed with her.

Most nights it’s actually pretty okay. No one comes in or comes down to the front desk that much. It’s just every now and then there’s that one person that is a huge douchebag.

Thanks for the advice! I was always super shy growing up and always kept to myself so showing assertiveness is still new to me. I’ve gotten better at it in recent years and reading sub Reddit’s like FDS help too.

The second guy weirded me out a little too much so I started recording on my phone. After a few minutes of me saying no he eventually left and went back to his room and never bothered me again. I’ve been thinking of getting a knife too. I wasn’t sure which one I should get as I’ve just been looking on Amazon.

My brother got married to the girl he met on tinder. They started dating in 2018 and got married in September 2019. Kinda gives me hope I’ll find something from tinder

All 2018 a guy wouldn’t stop asking me out and I repeatedly told him I wasn’t interested in him. My friends at the time told me I should give him a chance and date him. They thought it was romantic that he wasn’t giving up. I thought it was weird and creepy. No means no. I shouldn’t have to give reasons for that no to be justifiable. I eventually got really bad anxiety and couldn’t go outside anymore in fear I would see him. I dropped out of school and moved back home because I couldn’t deal wit…
