For every horror story about dating co-workers, there’s like 5 stories of happy endings that go unreported bc there’s no intrigue when things just go well.

Bro what were you doing in Russia? I was surprised to find fellow Mexican brothers up in NYC, but Russia sounds too cold for my blood.

Dude, “low-key” means somewhere in public 100% of the time, not hanging at your bachelor pad. That’s dating 101, first day, first chapter.

If we were capable of writing absolutely the perfect thing to say spontaneously in the moment, it’d definitely help our chances. Of course Kapinos had the time to craft the dialog, whereas IRL we’d have a split second to think up what to say.

Yeah but have you seen Salman Rushdie’s track record. That guy can get it. Hugh Jackman, though.

If there’s a beautiful woman on Instagram, there’s a pretty good chance her camera is being held by her boyfriend.

Touching a guy’s hand or arm is pretty flirty. Some might take this seriously, others casually. If a woman touched my arm, I’d reciprocate the gesture (if I like her), and go from there. But if I’m not into her, I won’t reciprocate, and hope she implicitly understands that. It’s cool either way, I’d feel flattered.

It probably helps if you know how to hold a phone steady, or operate a mirrorless camera. Someone’s gotta take all those photos and videos!

Your only hope of breaking up this marriage and making her yours is to furiously drive to the church on the day of the wedding in an Alfa Romeo Spider, then pound on the window of the church yelling out her name. When she yells your name, go down and get her, use a crucifix to lock the door shut, then escape in a getaway bus. It’ll work, trust me. I saw a documentary about it.

Dating for a particular ethnicity or race seems weird to me, especially when the U.S. has such diversity. Find someone you connect with the best. Why limit yourself?

It is expensive to live here. Haven’t gone to one, but the rules are public. Reading through them, they’re pretty reasonable. Maybe not exclusive as I remember when I looked into them last. https://www.twist-sf.com/general-5-1

You’re fooling yourself if you think you’re going to make a woman seeking a relationship into a FWB. Don’t string her along, it’ll only get messy for everyone.

I don’t know if it’s fair to single out any one thing, like eyes. I’ve seen women turned off by a guy’s voice even when the rest of him was literally tall, dark and handsome. This was a friend I was walking with. He does just fine, but he also talks like a valley girl.

Just an observation; classic art in Western Europe shows how popular preferences were different. In old operas, the men with deep voices (bass) were given the protagonist roles. Men who could sing the higher octaves (tenors) were antagonists. After a few generations, it flipped, so the tenors became the protagonists, and the basses became antagonists. It’s stuck like that to this day in opera. In paintings and sculptures, it used to be that large dicks were depicted on bad guys, the devil, etc. …

Weird, I saw a guy wearing a Messi shirt at a festival, and he was really out there. A TV crew came to do an on location report, and the Messi dude aggressively upstaged the woman reporting. The crew had to grab the guy to get him out of shot, and he was still shouting “Messi!” drunk off camera. Not trying to generalize, but are Messi fans just a bit overly enthusiastic?

Talking like a Valley Girl is probably the best way for a man to get locked in the friend zone. His voice isn’t too bad, but his style of speaking is. This guy needs a vocal coach more than a gym coach. He sounds identical to my gay friends.

Death sports might be the answer. Maybe jump 12 school buses in a 2-stroke dirt bike? You can approach literally any woman you find attractive after that, even happily married with kids, nuns, ghosts, you name it.
