Agreed 100%. Of all the things to get up in arms about, this is not it. She gets credit for being the team lead. Credit has always worked that way-for both genders. The boss getting credit for staff work is a meme.

I dont know where to look this up, but do you happen to have the UN stats in the ratio of men to women in the field? If the ratio is significantly more or less than 19%, that number would be more interesting.

I don't have any research to back this up, but I believe there is a grain of truth to this one... if you look at waitstaff across the entire industry. I find that high-end dining tends to skew more male. Lower end dining tends to skew more female. Therefore, men would, on average make more tips.
