Haha alright, well I'm actually sorry if I seemed hostile.. In that case, let me rephrase, my whole post was meant to be about how I don't feel comfortable knowing the fact that whoever I date will be constantly approached by other men, which is fine because I approach taken girls all the time but I back off when I find out she's taken, or even after getting her number and finding out she has a boyfriend. I just don't like the fact, so what is a decent way to deal with MY issue in order to not h…

How the hell am I looking for trouble? I'm just asking about how to deal with my insecurities caused from a cheating and lying ex, for which you attempted to blame me. I know many mature and ready girls who I assume would not cheat, but my experiences have conditioned me to be aware. I'm not calling women sluts because they get hit on, just saying that I hate how it works and that I'm trying to get ready to trust again. I need a way to deal with it and was wondering how you guys do so. The girls…

I love this reply, man. Thank you for taking the time and you have a lot of valid points! The thing is, I think I've found out that I'm also "an investor". I prefer to have a steady relationship, a best friend who is always down to go out with me, hang out, and be there for support when school gets tough or life throws a curve ball (plus tbh, I feel like sex is much better with an actual girlfriend, you can find out what you like about each other and get comfortable with it, and having feelings …

I didn't try to make her behave any way. I expected her to, but I never tried to control her. In fact, it was somewhat the other way around, as she attempted to be and was manipulative (trying to get a certain reaction out of me by telling me how "desired" she always was, which was a stupid approach on top of the trust issues we had). I've talked to her and she swears that her loyalty issues stem from past experiences with douchebags and a self defense mechanism to avoid "getting played". She ha…

To be honest, I have the right to have been upset especially since she was my first and she expected me to stay loyal at a point while my brothers and best friends were having the time of their lives. I'm not slut shaming her, if I were, I would've never dated her in the first place because I knew of her mistakes. In the end, she cheated, and I don't want to be with a cheater. May have only been a kiss but I don't know what the hell else she could be lying about as I found out about this from an…

Thanks for the reply man. I mean I knew how it worked, but I just wanted to note it, and I was wondering if this is the case for all girls or just the more attractive ones and how many other guys have dealt with this because it does feel frustrating, especially when you're dating one of those girls. I don't know.. I come from a good (upper middle class) family, go to a great university, and am a part of a great fraternity. I have good grades and my potential is "high" as I am on the path to beco…

I blame her? First off, you don't know the situation. She was my first, high school sweetheart, for 2 years. She was not known to be faithful before we met and I did everything to hold on tight. She cheated on me and I dumped her when I found out she lied about drug use. The "test"? That was after I found out she had cheated on me. We were in college and I was losing interest, so she tried to do that in order to regain my interest and even admitted to it. I called her out on it and she apologize…

Wow, that first one is amazing. And honestly man, you're not missing out on much. I'm not a big fan of tinder myself (perhaps because I don't do it right? Haha). I'm much more comfortable in person, in the library of my university or a coffee shop around town.

I agree, for dating, but if a girl is to cheat, she's just looking for someone attractive who wants to hook up (basically all the guys who hit on her). The thing is though, most attractive girls have a phone full of friend zoned guys waiting to be the number one draft pick in the event of a breakup, and that was true for my ex and a lot of girls that I've talked to about this topic

Those were great tbh lol, I'm impressed. Gave me a couple of ideas ;) But what do you do when their bio is like empty or only has something weird like "Tall guys <3" or some basic facts that are impossible to arrange in a pickup?

That's a great response, I would've said something exactly along those lines. I wouldn't push it again very soon, just wait it out and she might give you a hint when she's ready

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
