That sounds horribly painful.

I can see where you're coming from. Though it seemed to me that Milo was baiting them and then chuckled when they flipped shit. I don't by any means think that was the best course of action for him but it was at least hilarious and very telling of their true colors.

You keep attempting to speak for me like you assume I identify as an MRA. I lurk and occasionally post here, but I would consider myself sympathetic to the cause rather than an activist. That being said, I still don't care. In an actual debate, I don't make a habit of "name calling" or whatever, but I'm obviously not trying to settle discourse with my comment above. If you don't like it, please just downvote and move on instead of concern trolling me.

When the actions or messages I'm responding to are as intellectually dishonest as they are, then I don't really care. Your response almost reads like a concern troll. This movement doesn't exist to coddle the feelings of those who are in opposition; it exists to aid those hurt by said opposition. If they want to say or support an idea that stupid ("Don't tell me to lock my doors, tell thieves not to steal!") then I'm going to call it out as I did, because I feel it deserves that level of force. …

...in other news: Feminists are still fucking retarded.

I checked the conference pages as well and it wasn't anywhere to be found. It's fine that it's on reddit and all, but that isn't obvious.

Image matters wherein image is defined by you, apparently. Furthermore: http://www.avoiceformen.com/policies/avfm-staff-roster-masthead/ Not even listed. Like I said, go troll elsewhere.

That's fine. So why is it even relevant? Total logical fallacy to say that any movement is only legitimate over one certain issue. Go troll elsewhere.

Where does she claim to be PR?

I didn't say "no one." And "the Internet." So you are the Internet? David Futrelle is the Internet? A handful of whack job crazies on Twitter are the Internet? I'm not impressed if that's the case. And those are the only people haranguing about this at all. Your black and white thinking of this either being a rant forum or a movement is frankly ridiculous. If one instance on Twitter makes this a rant forum, then the fact that I think women also deserve equal rights makes me a feminist. Try again…

I'm not even really an MRA; I merely support what the movement stands for. I came here as a "normal" person, and frankly I don't see the problem. These are @mentions. On twitter. To radical opposition. That most people won't see. As a "normal" person I don't think I'd take a twitter war as representation of anything. But I could be wrong. I mean it did bring extra traffic to AVfM, the conference, and this sub, and--oh wait

Indeed, I liked that one too. Also, I see someone in the comments on that article is calling your twitter account a spoof. Hilarious!

I know right? In general I need to stop reading twitter so much because the stupidity and ignorance of twitter feminists can be quite infuriating, but her stuff is a definite bright spot and made me chuckle and feel better.

Seriously. JudgyBitch was trolling on twitter about spending the money raised for security on "hookers and blow" or something like that and the mindless pawns ate it up with criticism. When your opponents are that fucking dumb and fall for the simplest bait, you don't need to spend much effort.

I originally thought the same thing. When I came across the movement and this sub, my initial reaction was "...seriously?" It doesn't take too long to change that opinion if you're willing to be honest and read, though. Keeping an open mind is important no matter what you think or what impressions you have.

Finally? /u/wil has been saying/supporting asinine shit like this for a while. It's no surprise to me that he'd jump on the bandwagon exploiting a massacre to forward an agenda.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
