Tell men to use their strength to protect women and children.

That's ridiculous. Not once have I ever encountered this with my friends. Women are not robots. We are all different and like different kinds of men. You sound like a woman hating incel.

Men's are just sports. They are open divisions, the best of the best. Anyone can join. Women's divisions are for women so that women can have a chance at competing.

You could mention legs as what? Things women shouldn't expose because you find them too sexy to control yourself in the presence of? In the past it was ankles too. In the middle east it's women's faces. They are not genitalia so, don't you think that's YOUR problem? Men handle legs, ankles and faces just fine in most parts of the world.

I agree with respecting people's discomfort. I also think modesty and clothing are good things. Therefore, I disagree with women showing their breasts in public. However, I would definitely NOT equate it with showing genitalia. Overweight men are free to go topless and they have fatty chests which is basically what women's breasts are when you look at them. Boobs are not genitalia. In addition, women don't rape people with their breasts so they don't elicit that sort of revulsion in people.

I would tell women to use their strength to protect a child in the same way that I would tell a man to use his to protect women and children. Women being impregnated doesn't do anything to help anyone.

Definition of feminism : belief in and advocacy of the political, economic, and social equality of the sexes expressed especially through organized activity on behalf of women's rights and interests

Men are stronger than women though. This isn't a role. It's biology. I'm not saying that you have to jump in front of a crazy man mid-attack. I'm just saying that it isn't a role. It's just fact.

I think it's great to bring this into the light. I wish it would have been done sooner. I support Jonny 100 percent. Me too is real and so are false accusations. Edit: I was wrong and he's gross

Oops, I'm 11 months late. I haven't checked all my comment replies. Women are justified when talking about pervy men, that's a huge women's issue. But that's not the majority of men. I really want men to be able to talk about their issues and I don't support women who tell them to shut up and be quiet. I'm on this sub because I want to hear about what men are upset about in their lives, things I don't know about, as a woman. The average dude doesn't have a thing to do with women's grievances abo…

It's 11 months late (and I'm here because I'm reviewing my comments) but you guys are great. I've been banned for speaking my mind and I expected the same from this place, so I'm glad to be pleasantly surprised.

they neglected to mention - probably deliberately - that men are also the vast majority of murder victims , But the original post brings up reversing the genders. It doesn't mention male on male violence. So I don't see why EnvironmentalWar needed to mention it either. Their comment is sound. Even if they have made previous comments that were disingenuous, this one shouldn't be downvoted into oblivion. Judge the comment, not the username.

From the previous commenter: "There are about 50 murders a day in America. The overwhelming majority of said murderers are men." The media does not discuss 50 murders a day. You make assumptions when you say the case would be discussed for days on all media outlets if the murderer was a man. Your assumptions feed your narrative of everybody hates men, which they don't.

Have you watched judge TV shows, like judge Judy? When a parent is reunited with a child, it becomes a chance for redemption. Dead beat dads are no longer dead beats if they come back :) edit: sad sacks who want to wallow in self pity have decided this comment isn't good enough for the light of day

Can you just talk about men's rights? You're upset that you can't make money by posting your butt because it is a man's butt??? What is the right that you are lacking here? Or what is the social problem that hurts you? Let's talk about men's social issues and stop complaining about women who are sex objects to a bunch of dudes. paternity leave why can't men show emotion other than anger(according to society) why is being hyper sexual manly? why do men want to be groped (according to society) ? w…

Honestly, the same thing happened to me. I was jogging. I was on lower ground so I ran away before they could cuff me. I'm a woman. It's something about people looking creepy at parks at night. I don't doubt that people think men are more suspicious looking though. I walked through the same park at night and was asked by an officer if I had seen anything suspicious because he wanted to make sure that I was safe. What the cop asked you is a ridiculous question, without a doubt, " how would you fe…

If you are a woman you do need to be cautious around men you don't know. This isn't sexism. It's about protecting yourself. That's why we tell our kids not to talk to strangers. Most are probably fine, but many aren't. Adults are stronger than kids. Men are stronger than women.

I don't think that women should have equal pay in sports because men's sports are more popular, but I don't think it's about being a spoiled brat. I think it's about being misinformed, gung ho for a cause and not that smart.

So, didn't she sexually assault you, though? I mean, I don't really get what was your fault about it. This reminds me of when Terry Crews said he was groped and it was a big moment.

I'm wondering. Is it common? The random erection, I mean. I haven't personally seen it in public, but also I'm not examining or anything. So it just comes suddenly, okay, I get that. I've read guys' comments about it's randomness, but is it a common thing? Do people hide it? Do they always know if it's happening?
/r/MensRights02/08/21 06:24 PM

I have never heard anyone say that an erection=consent, but that's just because I'm not in the room with them. I had no idea this kind of thought was happening, honestly. And I don't hear much about men getting random unwanted erections, so I didn't even know it was a thing. Now I know. Thanks for answering me.

Does the app have profile information and specifications? What is the top 10% of men? Is that a part of the app? I don't know but, if the app has information and things about people like common hobbies, then they can match based on their compatibility. I don't understand this "top 10% of men." Not all women want the same thing or are compatible with the same person. That's what I suppose it would be like on the app, like real life. But I've never used it so I don't know.

No we don't. The studies exist because they are extreme anomalies! Rape is not fun. It's painful and humiliating. My advice is that if you learn something from porn, then forget it.

Zero people consent to touch "in any way." My boss doesn't ask, can I pat you on the shoulder in congratulations before he does it and I don't need him to. I get hugged by guys and they put their hands on my back EVERY DAY. I don't like it so I move away. It's become a non-issue in my life. I just deal. I'm asking about more important things, like the groping of guys that many people don't seem to care about.

I am not asking you to go into personal details that you don't want to elaborate on, but I am wondering about why your body demonstrated interest in something more intimate than you wanted. There is no judgement here. I'd just really like to know as someone with a different body chemistry (ie a woman). Was it an involuntary physical response? When I saw it happening to my friend, I was shocked and confused and I didn't even know how to react. It was like he was uncomfortable but didn't know how to react and he didn't like it by couldn't say it. It was like he wasn't allowed to say no. When he said said stop, the guy kept going and everyone kept awkwardly laughing. NOW I would have gotten the guy off of him but, at the time, I had no idea what was even normal. I regret it.

I am a woman and this is not sarcasm. Please tell me more about reacting to a man's boner. I'm sorry, that sounded really perverted. That is NOT my intention. I'm so sorry. It's just that all of my encounters have been him pushing it into me and I want to be aware of when that is not the case. Edit: Why are people giving downvotes? It would be better if you didn't pander and just understood what privilege means.
/r/MensRights19/07/21 01:45 PM
1

Yes to neither of those decisions being a privilege, but isn't the problem that men not going to the doctor is defined as a female privilege on this list?
/r/MensRights19/07/21 01:36 PM
1

If there is a wage gap, then I do think it's women's fault. Well, maybe not bad choices, but choices nonetheless. Do you really think it's women's fault that men don't go to the doctor?
/r/MensRights19/07/21 01:30 PM
1

I think the very fact that men are superior in terms of physical strength is enough for people to deduce that most violence against men occurs by the hands of other men. I don't understand how that's a female privilege. If a violent man came across a man all by himself at night maybe he would attack him, but wouldn't he attack a woman too? And if so, woudn't the man have a better chance at fending him off? I don't want anyone to be attacked, but the original poster seems confused.
/r/MensRights19/07/21 01:23 PM
1

I understand your point, but the entire post is about comparing men to women. If we choose this route then why wasn't it mentioned that male privilege is literally being a male against a male attacker?
/r/MensRights19/07/21 01:17 PM
1

Men don't go to the doctor for the same reason they are less likely to wear COVID masks. They think it's unmanly. This is a problem, but it has nothing to do with working women.
/r/MensRights19/07/21 01:10 PM
1

I think a big issue is that men being groped isn't taken seriously. A lot of things on this list are not female privileges and I don't think that should be the point either. Focusing on men should be the point. I saw a man be groped once in my life, but the tone of the situation was bizarre. It was like, he was really uncomfortable, but he wasn't supposed to say that without laughing it off and the guy wouldn't stop. edit: I also remember seeing in movies that a woman grabbing a man's crotch is …
/r/MensRights19/07/21 01:03 PM

I don't think a biological response is a privilege, though.
/r/MensRights16/07/21 03:05 PM

As a woman, if I am welcome here, I think that society doesn't take it seriously. I think there is a narrative that men always want it (it, being sexual things). I don't like it. I don't agree with it. I think men are shamed for disliking it which is another thing that I don't agree with. I think a lot more men are speaking out now about not wanting to be touched just because they are men and I hope that they continue to speak out about it.
/r/MensRights16/07/21 03:01 PM
