| 2 | Why do YOU need feminism?oh right, thats what i thought he may have been saying. But i read "thanks to her for sending me here" and thought he meant into service. But i realise now he meant she directed him to that site. ahhhhh. | /r/MensRights | 03/12/12 11:35 PM |
| -1 | Why do YOU need feminism?Hold on, i dont get the one with the army guy who mentions GirlWritesWhat. I thought you guys liked her? or am i wrong? | /r/MensRights | 03/12/12 10:40 PM |
| 1 | “We refuse to take male passengers”thank you for understanding, i thought it was a pretty simple cause-and-effect. It's not like i never ever want to go to a service provided by a male again. | /r/MensRights | 14/10/12 06:04 AM |
| 1 | “We refuse to take male passengers”You've also yet to deny that the only reason you were "uncomfortable" about what he said is because he was a man saying it. You're absolutely right. I just really hate men, so much, you've seen right through me! actually, you're still being excessively negative here. No. I'd like a taxi service where even if i couldn't be 100% guaranteed my safety from a physical attack, i'd have a good chance at fighting them off. But they dont pick weak-looking drivers for the Taxi services in my city, because… | /r/MensRights | 14/10/12 05:54 AM |
| 1 | “We refuse to take male passengers”I did understand he was probably trying to help. But like i said, there's a time and place for those discussions. I was suprised he didnt pick up on my body language that i was uncomfortable. oh well. I don't have "disdain for men", quite the opposite. You're projecting an incredibly negative image of me just from one story about a negative situation i got into and how i felt about it since. Surely if you looked at it from my perspective you could see how i think that? Sorry if it's not perfect-… | /r/MensRights | 14/10/12 05:12 AM |
| -1 | “We refuse to take male passengers”I wouldn't have paid for the service if i had known he was going to be like that. Just like you wouldnt be in that alley if you knew someone was going to start discussing disturbing things with you alone. And I'm approaching the 5-year mark with a perfectly wonderful guy, thank you very much! And yeah just letting you know that i am subscribed to /mensrights and not anything feminist-related, because i dont want to read alot of the outrageous things they say and reasoning they have. But this con… | /r/MensRights | 14/10/12 04:17 AM |
| -2 | “We refuse to take male passengers”Calm down. Maybe he had my best interests at heart by trying to make me aware of the dangers of hitchiking, but I felt the environment we were in was not appropriate for that discussion. I was fine when i got in the taxi, when i got out i was feeling uneasy. You wouldn't pull aside another person alone in an alley and say "hey, do you know the dangers of being in an alley alone, you could get murdered!". They'd probably look at you like you were about to do just that. | /r/MensRights | 14/10/12 02:29 AM |
| -8 | “We refuse to take male passengers”Well hang on a sec, i don't think this is about having a "girls only club" or acting like it's ""No Coloreds" for the 21st century." Lets take this into perspective here, I have to say that in my city in Australia I have NEVER seen a female taxi driver, they're all male, and for good reason, because violent assaults happen against our taxi drivers. There's always stories about it on the news. Not many women drive taxi's because they feel it's not safe for them. The last taxi ride I took was late… | /r/MensRights | 14/10/12 12:30 AM |
