1	“Intersectionality” seems to suddenly stop existing in mainstream liberals’ minds regarding men Point taken, and I don't mean to nitpick, but-- you're misusing the term "cognitive dissonance." As coined by Leon Festinger, it refers to a subjective sense of inconsistency, especially such as to make a person feel stupid or immoral. GYNOCENTRISM: The dominant or exclusive focus on women in theory or practice; or to the advocacy of this. On a meta level you might better say both sexes have been oppressed by the traditional gender system, only in different ways. 1	Why does every problem to these people affect women more despite the numbers showing otherwise? Ideological blindness? Alison Tieman calls it the Church of Wimminwursting.
