In the US, Internet connections, websites and related services are not protected by or defined by Telecommunications laws and regulations. Those companies have all fought long and hard to prevent that. This guys lawyers need to jump on that fact

In most jurisdictions, it's considered kidnapping if a business locks you in or otherwise prevents you leaving. Even if they know you have shoplifted. Also, it's not usually legally shoplifting until you have exited the store. Some jurisdictions do set that threshold as "beyond the point of sale".

Actually I didn't. That part was a statement about people who notice their kid is gone and then just sit there waiting for them to come back. Awesome how people love to assume things even when a statement doesn't imply it. Yea, I had my kids run off. And I went after them. Cause I kept my eyes on them. It's what my parents taught me. The kids are more important than anything I was doing. Up to appropriate ages. And then you do let them go. But definitely not below five or six. And after then, only when someone older and trusted is with them. Try not to insult people you wish to convince of something.

Nope. I'll never accept that. I have two kids, now in their 20's. I have taken care of my seven nieces and nephews too. All at the same time, for hours, out in public. It's not freaking rocket science people. Teach your kids to stay within sight of you and then make sure they do. And if they get out of sight, don't sit on your ass, go find them.

I simplified a bit. "Fear of harm" is also used. No level of harm is defined. That a lighter weight person felt they could get away with hitting the bouncer, is proof they were confident to do harm without retaliation. So she set precedence that she is willing to attack someone. Which means she is willing to do it twice. So, self defense is even more warranted.

I am close friends with about a dozen women and two have been raped. I am acquaintances with maybe another 50 (professionally and socially) across maybe 200 miles and three of those have been raped. Depending on the state you work in, if they let you go for the reasons you said, then they legally may not be allowed to replace you for X amount of time. Also, check into your other labor laws. If dating a coworker was not disallowed, and she was bad mouthing you at work about personal issues, you might have a viable lawsuit. As you said as SO many people fail to grasp, NEVER date coworkers or go to work at the same company as friends, family or Sig Other.

Heck, even adults willingly and intentionally have sex wth people and later feel traumatized over it. The point is, teens simply can't always think right. Hormones actually do prevent that. As a MATURE adult, it should be accepted that you don't fuck kids. Anymore than you fuck someone who is intoxicated or drugged. Depending on their state laws, they cannot give consent below 16, 15, 14. Even to someone their age.
