Maybe I didn't understand your original point... Was it simply that women do more childcare than men? If so, you're right. I assumed you were saying that men were shirking responsibilities (which isn't proven by anything you've written above).

That's an awfully cynical view to take. My wife and I both work and both of us view our responsibilities as parents as tantamount. The problem with this sub is comments like that... Instead of trying to find understanding, people (men and women) come here to point fingers. Guess what, life is hard and relationships (or lack thereof) are the hardest thing about it. Traditional roles arose because people realized life was too hard alone/better shared, especially with the amazing burden of children…
