Thats why its not manipulation. You have every right to break up with me if you think we are having sex to soon. If you break up with me for that reason, I don’t think we were meant to be anyway.

See I don’t how many people want to have multiple partners. Why even have a relationship at all at that point. The idea of multiple bfs/ husbands seems exhausting lol
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 05:14 AM
1

I think you are also not completely understanding me. Let’s say I’m very horny and it has been a long time since I got any. I meet this guy who I think is attractive and we have some chemistry, but I don’t think he’s relationship material, there is no issue with having sex too soon because there is no relationship that can possibly be ruined. In the other hand, if a got feelings for a guy who I think could be a good match for me, then I don’t want to have sex to soon because I might ruin the rel…

So this is a good way to filter out men who are only interested in sex?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 04:41 AM
2

Im not sure what the difference is or why it would matter.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 04:37 AM
2

Saying I love you to soon might ruin a relationship, living together to soon is probably not a good idea same thing for marriage. Timing in a relationship is important.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 04:37 AM
2

So you are basically admitting that not having sex too soon is a good way to filter out men who aren’t really interested in having a long term relationship with me?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 04:32 AM
8

Do they think they own shy women because they are shy? lol
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 09:08 PM

They don’t literally tell you, but I can tell. You know how guys will say “don’t ask a fish how to be fished?” Well it’s true for women too. Also waiting for sex isn’t a game?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 09:02 PM

Probably not but I still wouldn’t want to risk it anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 08:57 PM
3

You know you could just tell me right? Edit Wait accept wasn’t a typo and meant expect? How does that even make sense lol
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 08:37 PM
4

I read your post, I’m still confused when those women are asking for empathy from you?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 08:26 PM
4

Are they asking for your sympathy tho?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 08:23 PM

In the past, gender roles where much more enforced then today so idk what your talking about.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 08:12 PM

There are men who literally say what I just typed. In my own experience having sex too soon or even talking about, can make a guy respect you less. So no I wouldn’t risk having sex too soon with a guy I think I’m a great match with.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 08:11 PM
12

Yeah I’m shy and social awkward and I like guys that are social. Is that a crime or something? As long as he loves me back, why would that be anyone’s issue?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 08:05 PM

Men constantly say how they would fuck sluts but not marry them. I have no idea how guys can see this as a bad strategy.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 07:57 PM
1

But couldn’t the same thing be said for monogamy? Monogamy in a matriarchy is the answer? I don’t think most women want to share their husbands.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 06:49 PM
4

There are some deeply patriarchal societies that practice polygamy tho what would you say about that?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 06:34 PM

Or he could just be honest and tell the woman he’s just interested in casual sex?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 06:25 PM
2

You’re fine with sluts just not reformed sluts?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 06:20 PM

Have you ever considered that sex isn’t a reward that women give to men but an activity that they enjoy themselves? Having sex too soon in a relationship might ruin that relationship, that doesn’t matter when you’re not interested in a long term serious relationship in the first place.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 06:17 PM

Doesn’t seem like you know what their specific arguments are nor do you seem to have sufficient counterarguments.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 05:07 AM
1

Are you even aware of the arguments they make?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/24 09:11 PM

I was 16 when I’ve was first approached by men who could be my father. That’s the day I was against age gap relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/24 09:07 PM

You do realise that it’s not socially acceptable for women to go braless right? It might also be uncomfortable.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/24 08:57 PM

Well we live in a democracy don’t we? They have concerned about, you have all the right to make rational argument why there concerns are wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/24 08:55 PM
1

If you’re interested in “replacing” women, I don’t understand why you would even care about what real women think. Just do your thing, buy your sex bots, be happy.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/24 08:48 PM
1

Why would you care what strangers on the internet say about you tho?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/24 08:16 PM

This seems to be a very different conversation than about the insults.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/24 05:13 PM
1

What does this still have to do with insults?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/24 05:01 PM
1

Are the women who call men incels for thinking women shouldn’t be able to abuse men, in the room with us right now? How do you know that man wasn’t a womaniser anyway?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/24 03:58 PM
1

In your own very realistic example the men isn’t insulted for his lack of sex because of the way he thinks.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/24 03:32 PM

Who says they’re punching down? If a man insults a woman or says something misogynistic, we’re not allowed to insult him back?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/24 03:20 PM
1

Who says they aren’t punching down?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/24 03:18 PM

Isn’t that can’t of the point of an insult tho?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/24 02:57 PM
1

How? Men have restricted women’s right and freedoms since forever. Which is a fact. What is simplistic is using one decision made be one company to say something about a whole group of people.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/24 07:30 AM
1

My assumption is flawed and too simplistic lol If it is “natural” why do gender roles need to be enforced by law, religion and culture?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/24 06:39 AM
1

What has women choosing anyone has to do with anything? No im aware that men couldn’t vote for 1000s of years either that doesn’t rule out that women, just for the fact that they were female, couldn’t held any leadership positions (except for a rare queen who was born in that position).
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/24 06:31 AM
1

Or men prohibited women from (higher) education and leadership’s position for thousands of years and we are still seeing the affects of that. Also being a good communicator and having empathy are associated with women, two personality traits that I would say are very important for a good leader. Also people can be motivated for things other than sex lol
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/24 06:20 AM

I’ve thought about it. Here we see the rational sex making a huge assumption based on the action of one private company lol

Incel has more to do with an ideology you follow than actually being a virgin. Also it makes sense to insult men where it hurts. Do men even think it’s an insult to be a “fuckboi”? I don’t think so, especially they once that are. We know that lots of men are insecure about being a virgin/ sexually unsuccessful. So how is it’s surprising that there are more insults about that.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/24 05:39 AM

What biology? Men outnumber women on dating sites, ofcourse they are going to be more desperate.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/24 05:35 AM
1

Im not saying its okay to mistreat anyone. Im challenging the idea that misandry is as widespread and has the same magnitude as misogyny. Many of those crimes happen in the west as well. Sex trafficking is a global issue, so is (gang) rape. Let us not forget about the countless serial killers and more recently incel mass shooters who are specifically targeting women. I don’t think it’s far fetched idea to say that those crimes are the tip of the iceberg and underneath it is a whole group of men …
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/24 08:48 PM

I would love actual casual dating. The problem is that in my experience for men casual dating just means sex. And even if you are not the guy I’m going to marry or have children with, I still want a meaningful relationship that is more than just fucking.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/24 08:41 PM
1

You’re a communist and you’re saying this? Where are all the women gang raping men? Forcing them in prostitution? Throwing acids in their face when they get rejected? Men had and still have both the institutional and physical power to actually materialise their hatred against women. And talking about open hatred, how many men are openly upset when their child will be a girl vs how many women are openly upset that their child is a boy.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/24 08:31 PM

Is Pearl really a doormat tho? She seems very opinionated to me. What she says she believes and how she will truly act in a relationship might be very different. Kinda reminds me of Lauren Southern who had a terrible time as a tradwife.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/24 08:20 PM

It’s a private company that’s wants to make money lol
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/24 08:12 PM

What insult do exist for sexually unsuccessful men that women have created?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/24 07:57 PM

Waar exactly are you supposed to do together if you don’t have any mutual interest?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/24 07:54 PM
1

But here we are.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/24 09:20 AM
1

OP doesn’t seem to fear that. He just states that a feminist hold a broader definition of rape than the current legal definition. Again, I’m not sure what exactly is the issue is. And like other commenters have pointed out, it’s technically not illegal, isn’t a great defense lol
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/24 09:07 AM
1

That’s literally what we are telling women. It’s okay to say no in situation even if he is your bf/ husband. I have no idea what you mean by that last part. What places? Do you mean jail? I’m not sure how anyone can go to jail for something that is not illegal.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/24 08:52 AM
1

There is a difference between something not being necessary and something being problematic. You seem to have little empathy for women (like OP). A lot of women in relationships feel pressure in having sex with their bf/ husbands because they think they have to, not because they want to. To me, that isn’t very consensual. Defining consent as something that should be freely and enthusiastically giving empowers women to say no in situations where she might otherwise feel like she has to. I’m still…
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/24 07:32 AM
1

You think it’s impossible to give enthusiastically consent in a non verbal way? And if you aren’t sure, why not ask her? Btw I believe that having a broad definition of rape is the thing that empowers women to say no in situations where she might otherwise feel pressure to have sex with someone.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/24 07:10 AM
1

They couldn’t be charged with theft because you are still doing the action (buying). While if you’re black out drunk someone could rape you without you doing much action.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/24 06:45 AM
1

What’s problematic with the idea that consent should be freely and enthusiastically given?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/24 06:28 AM
1

Why is OP concerned with whether something is legally rape or not? Something can be legal but not ethical. Feminist especially radical feminist have a broad definition of rape I genuinely don’t see the issue with that. On top, some of the situation OP describes would be legally considered to be rape.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/24 06:02 AM

But OP is talking about dating, so it seems he is interested in a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/24 05:59 AM

This man is literally saying that you shouldn’t be decent and take advantage of power dynamics lol
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/24 05:58 AM

From reading OPs post, he doesn’t seem to find those situations sad at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/24 05:56 AM

Equal doesn’t mean they are the same. Men could never become pregnant so they would never have to deal with the effects that pregnancy and giving birth does to someone. They are most likely also not the primary caretakers, so they have less responsibility towards the baby. And I’m not sure how many men who impregnated a woman face the social stigma of being a “deadbeat”.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 06:48 PM

First of all, i don’t think most people who behave creepy, think their own actions are creepy. I guy tried to kiss me once at a party, I don’t think that he believed what he did was creepy (see also football coach of Spain who didn’t think he did anything wrong either). That Doesn’t mean it wasn’t. I’m black and many white people for a long time didn’t consider the N-word racist. But me, a black person, who has been called the N-word numerous of times, does. But at the same time it’s understanda…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 06:39 PM

But you have to agree that most men felt hurt by rejection first and than rationalised their feelings with brining up statistics. The rational that women used was that a man could potentially do worse things than what a bear could do. And I don’t think you could disagree with that.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 06:18 PM
1

Why not? The meaning of rape has already changed from what it was in the past.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 06:04 PM
1

And that doesn’t make it morally okay either wtf.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 05:57 PM
2

Do you believe it’s okay for abuser to take advantage of less intelligent people? Also what if you are young and naive. I guess it’s fine that someone rapes you then.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 05:55 PM
1

Something doesn’t have to be a crime in order for it to be unethical or problematic. And when it comes to sex, there definitely is a grey area that should be discussed.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 05:49 PM
9

Are you interested in a healthy and loving relationship? Because from your post, esp the last part, it doesn’t seem like it.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 05:48 PM
1

Lol are you serious? Doesn’t being a good leader mean that you are good at multiple things anyway? And what are remember you first said genders instead of personalities.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 04:26 PM
1

You only need commitment from one guy tho? And no woman in response of being romantically unsuccessful, thinks we should take rights away from men.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/24 08:35 PM
1

Who are you to say who desserves what? If I find a man who has a similar idea about marriage, how exactly is that your problem? And have you ever heard of those things like love and companionship? Generally people pay less taxes once they are married. And if you both work, you have a double income. That you can spend on a bigger house, go on vacation, etc. Also it’s sounds like you just want a servant, just someone who can cook and clean for you.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/24 08:11 PM
2

I actually heard about this theory that explains this, but I forgot the name. But basically, if you are going to hook up with someone, it’s more likely going to be with someone who has a large body count than someone who doesn’t. So that gives the impression that the average woman has a body count of +20 once they reached 25.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/24 08:00 PM
3

Yes I don’t get this. I’m in my mid 20s but I’ve always found large age gap relationships disgusting. Not sure what OP is talking about.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/24 07:30 PM
1

No one is stopping you from bringing that up!
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/24 07:12 PM
4

Why can’t you be a leader, confident and take care of children? Human personalities are complex and to reduce them into femininity and masculinity and then assign that to someone’s sex, reduces that complexity.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/24 07:03 PM
1

Because if you have experience you know what you like. If both of you are virgins until marriage, you might not be sexual compatible. Something not being that serious doesn’t mean it’s not important for a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/24 06:43 PM
1

You do realise that in the past cooking food and washing clothes was much more time consuming? On top of that women have always worked. Women worked at farms, in factories, etc.
/r/MensRights07/05/24 08:56 PM
2

Are men who work outdoors oppressed? So men who work outside are oppressed/ struggling, and you lot solution is therefore more women should enter those jobs, so that they are also now struggling/ oppressed? How exactly does that solves anyone’s issue? Who’s life’s are being made better because of it?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/24 03:56 PM
1

I don’t agree. Ive had a few hookups. The guy who never had a relationship, who had the least experience, tried his best to please me.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/24 03:26 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
