All I know is that there's something that I'm missing that other guys have that makes it possible for women to fall in love with them. For a long time I thought red pill explained what it was that I was missing, now I feel like I understand less than ever. I wish I knew why women fall in love. For me it's quite simple, if I love being around them and I find them reasonably attractive then I get attached. For women it seems to be something totally different

Because I was not in a sound state of mind when I wrote this and I really should have just deleted it without posting

I never thought of it like that, this idea that the opinions or things you think aren't the same thing as you as a person. The irony of it all is that the one woman I connected with most in my life was a black muslim who listened to me and talked me out of my alt-right beliefs, and frankly was far more patient with me than I really deserved. She was a real intellectual type and oddly enough I felt like I related to her better than women from my own cultural background. Maybe I should give therap…

I had low self-esteem as a teenager and young adult, so when I found a girl who liked me I tended to start oversharing very quickly. I'd spill out all this personal stuff, she'd comfort me and tell me I was actually a great person and that she liked me, and then I'd ruin the friendship by falling for her in no time. For someone with low self-esteem, the feeling that someone else likes you is incredibly seductive. Of course, they would never open up to me in the same way, because you just don't d…

Regarding the sex stuff, if it makes you uncomfortable to think of taking your clothes off for a stranger, then don't do that. You are in control of that. And you should not be doing anything that you don't want to do just because some busted ass, half-baked ideology says you should want that. Wait until you feel good about it and get to know somebody so that they're not a stranger. The one and only thing that eventually got me doubting the red pill stuff is that even though it seemed to be righ…

What are you looking for? A masculine, confident woman who can be my best friend and my lover at the same time. Yeah why not ask to win the lottery while I'm at it, but comforting situations with someone like that are literally what I masturbate to Friends of mine have told me before that women relate to me only on a platonic level and not on a romantic or sexual level, so I guess that makes me a beta or something? I don't know how to explain it

I always thought that dropping my belief system would condemn me to being eternally single, but sticking with it would mean miserable relationships. I don't know which is worse, being a lonely doormat or a miserable angry dickhead. Really I know I need to change but I can't bear the thought of giving up on relationships completely

Believe me I feel like a total fucking schizophrenic. I know that logically it doesn't hold up, but my heart tells me that it explains my entire dysfunctional history with women. And frankly that story is like industrial levels of cringe, I still wake up in the middle of the night cringing both at my own simping and at my laughable attempts at acting alpha Explaining it would be like admitting that I used to believe racist shit about black people, like even in a private setting I would rather di…

You know, the whole 'being overwhelming' thing is actually a problem for me even for men as well. I was like that with my old boss at work and he found it very annoying when I overreacted to his criticism. I seem to have a hard time finding a balance between acting like some aloof hardass and oversharing like a weepy motherfucker. I still don't quite understand the flirting thing. I thought that was to create attraction in women, not to confirm if it was already there. I always assumed that it w…

I can't let it go because no matter how bad it makes me feel, I at least feel like I know where I stand in that belief system. Without it I'm afraid that I'll keep getting into the same crappy situations that hurt me so much in the past. I wish there was a way to know for sure how other people, and women in particular, value me as a person

The way your husband met you sounds like a dream come through except for the sex part. I've been feeling so intensely ashamed of my own sexual desires for so long I don't know if I can hold it together, or if I'd just do something stupid like cry when I tried to kiss her or something. I'm just scared to be myself. It got me into some crappy codependent situations with women before, and I don't want to end up in another shitty not-technically-a-relationship where I get strung along like a moron

Do you have any idea how much of a nutjob I sound trying to explain this shit to a therapist? Jesus I get too embarrassed half way through and just give up. It doesn't help that most of the therapists I've seen are women so I sound like even more of a headcase. I can't even make eye contact with my goddamned therapist from the shame of it

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
