What about in countries that have the age of consent set to 13-16 and younger? And talks in the US of lowering the age of consent to 14 (very low likelihood but it’s gross that it’s a discussion)? Also, I can see your point but it’s a law for a reason. Legally, 18yo can do almost anything they want in most countries but that doesn’t mean they should. If I had an 18yo kid I wouldn’t let them do whatever and stop being a parent just cuz they turned 18 and graduated HS a couple weeks ago. They’re still living under their parent’s roof and under their rule for the most part. Because society sucks and that how young/old we decided to make it? Before kids could work as young as 5. In other countries, they still do! 0	Can someone explain why have men always been expected to be a "provider" if women are equally capable to work? And why if a woman doesn't work, society is fine with that, while if a man doesn't work for even a few months he is automatically shamed??? Who tf came with these one-sided expectations?? He’s a teacher and violated the law stating that he cannot engage in a sexual/romantic relationship with a student, and the student needs to have graduated more than 90 days ago. Also, do you really think an 18 yo kid straight out of high school is a grown ass man or a woman?? Mfers don’t even know how taxes work yet 😂 and can’t even buy a beer!
