I don't see what you're getting at. The definition you quoted says that racism is typically directed at a minority or marginalized group. It does not say that racism can only be directed at a minority or marginalized group. So by the definition, you absolutely can be racist against white people in the United States, but typically (i.e. most of the time) racism is directed against non-white people.

Typically does not mean only. Sure, racism is usually against minorities, but not always. Secondly, that extra line you bolded was only added in response to woke people complaining. But even the dictionary can't just decide to redefine a word if it doesn't reflect common usage. Most people understand that racism can be directed towards any race, period. I mean the word practically defines itself: race-ism. This whole conversation is so ridiculous. Why are we redefining a word to allow minorities…

I'm not defending the woman here at all. But the person I was responding to said that they hated "rape accusations most of the time". But it's not true that rape accusations are usually false, though of course we should not assume they are true. And I don't think we should be discouraging women from reporting sexual assault, just because some accusations are false.

Who said we should let him go? And yes, this doesn't happen all the time, but it does get upvoted on reddit all the time. It's like the fox news grandpas who think immigrants are killers and rapists because fox reports every single instance of an immigrant committing a crime, when in reality it's extremely uncommon.

This is not an unbiased sample of rape or sexual assault accusations. Reddit loves to upvote stories like this.

Personally, I don't think she's funny, but it's hard to deny there is trolling going on from the alt-right crowd. The overreaction to Ghostbusters, and now this obsession with trolling Amy Schumer. The level of vitriol is so over-the-top and it always seems aimed at female comedians.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
