Yeah I agree that that is a very real tension. I have personally seen that struggle played out in my own parents' marriage. My dad is always spending his extra time caring for the needs of the church and tension inevitably builds between himself and my mom because she wishes he would spend more of his time caring for domestic affairs. BUT BY HER OWN ADMISSION, THAT'S WHY SHE CHOSE MY DAD IN THE FIRST PLACE. I used to think that my dad wasn't living a very balanced life, but the more I think abou…

Bro, as someone who 'cuddled' before marriage, I can tell you that you are dancing on the precipice of fornication. "How do I hide my boner" is the wrong question. The question you should be asking is: "Am I ready for marriage'? And "Is this the right girl?". And if the answer is yes to those, pop the question, set a date, and then enjoy sex the way God intended it. If the answer is no to any of those two questions, then you need to run like Joseph.

Keeping a mental tally or rights and wrongs is toxic for a relationship. Would you want your SO going that? Didn't think so. Look, if this is a dating relationship, and she's exploiting your graciousness, then move along. But if your married, then as I said previously, your job remains as it's always been. Welcome to commitment and manhood.

New to this sub. But srsly, someone needs to call out balonga when its seen. All that's mentioned here is just a bunch of silly head games for boys. A real man is always gracious, anyways forgiving, always serving no matter the circumstances. And if your woman is exploiting that, then that's her problem...but that doesn't change your responsibility to be the constant/anchor in her life.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
