That's a straw man. I did most of the stuff on your lists during that time, but a sex life just happens to be a bigger contributor to mental wellbeing than any single one of those.

I was NEET for years, everyone I was close to told me I should see a professional, doctors suggested I might be depressed when I came to talk about completely unrelated stuff. I cried every few weeks and wanted to end my life. Please don't say I wasn't depressed. All I'm saying that if you're going to prescribe a fuckton of stuff like meditation, journaling and supplements in this comprehensive guide of yours, maybe you might also suggest people try to find some sort of love life for themselves.

Lack of sexual options was absolutely the major cause of my 5-6 year depression, and I think it is for many others too. Nothing really gives you existential dread like everyone refusing to fuck you.
