2	Question about child support This is the most emotional thing you'll go through. Deaths hurt and people are gone forever. However, losing access to your kids on account of a state telling you what is best for them, while knowing they are a quick drive away is maddening because the grieving persists for years. 2	Question about child support You should start with the WI child support guidelines. Google Shared Placement Worksheet to Estimate Support for Wisconsin. Review the worksheet: Clearly, your obligation is dependent on how much time you receive in court ordered parenting time with children (overnights). Both of your respective incomes are important too. Sadly, it appears Gross Income is plugged into the calculator. I am not in WI so I am unsure if that is what is used in practice. Here in IL they use net income.
