How is that not rape though? Genuinely want to know what your reasoning is and I’m not trying to be hostile or sarcastic

It doesn’t matter what it is, it’s important to you. Her dismissing what’s important because it’s not important to her is pretty shitty. I’m sure there’s things that’s important to her that you don’t care for. Ghost of Tsushima is an amazing game. I just finished it myself. Maybe ask her to sit and watch the story with you if you had to start over. Since you’ve played through the early part you can breeze through the early game and the story will unfold quickly enough for her to see why you enjo…

Normalize talking about mental health for men. Many men I know share the similar stories with this. A lot of us thought we were open with our thoughts and feelings. But when serious things happen, it's difficult to talk about without feeling like a burden. Fragile if we talk about it. Toxic when we don't. It's lonely in a man's mind sometimes. My dad, grandma and all 3 of my dogs died last year. 3 of my friends died since then. One from suicide. But I pretend like it's normal to a lot of close f…

I think Charles was making breakthroughs with wolverine about sharing back in the animated series.

I had a friend that was a pretty intense feminist. I supported her and her boyfriend in a lot of ways regarding feminism for years but I don’t think I ever was a feminist. Because she was a bit radical of a feminist and became more and more so throughout the years. The misandry became more and more apparent when she kept generalizing things about men towards the men that hung out with us. Saying things like I’m so lucky to be a man. That I have it so much easier than women because of my male pri…

I was at a party and two girls wanted me to see something in one of the rooms. I figured we were just going to do a line or something and I didn’t think much of it. They locked the door behind them and tried to undress me. I told them to stop and they didn’t care. I remember prying their hands off my pants while being careful not to bruise or hurt them. I could have put their heads through the wall if I really wanted to. But it would’ve been my word against theirs if things escalated. I’ve tried…

Yeah. Sometimes misandry half way through a series just ruins it for me

This is exactly what’s been going on between me and my feminist friends. She’s had severe trauma from a man before and even though she’s said our group of guys are unlike the toxic group, she can’t help but compares us to the “apex”. So because of her trauma, we typically tiptoe around her. She wasn’t like this before that and I’m definitely sad to lose her as a friend this way.

I look forward to being a dad. I am great with kids. I love watching them learn. I love answering their questions. I love introducing new cuisine to them and watching their reactions.

True. Both men and women have unrealistic standards. Just wish there’s more of a mental health positivity movement for men or something

I read an article my friend sent about toxic femininity being a lot about unrealistic beauty standards about how they dress and look which creates self esteem issues about themselves. While toxic masculinity is a lot about not showing emotions or showing any interests in anything not deemed manly by society. Both manhood and womanhood have such shallow ways to define them by either gender. I think all of these recent events are more of an example of toxic masculinity. Will smith punching Chris r…

I’ve read about an FTM experience that I share with my circle of friends that discuss this type of thing. Where the loneliness made them revert back to becoming a woman. That’s what I remembered anyways. Wish I saved the story. Definitely agree about the whole ftm thing though. They can point out more things than some of us can.

I think issue with the argument is that the ones against abortion sees it as a human rights issue as well. They firmly believe life has already begun. The argument for abortion is that it’s a healthcare issue for the woman, while the argument against abortion is healthcare for a child. That’s why telling the people against abortion to not get one won’t really fly with them. I think it’s important to see the logic of both sides without dismissing one another to truly understand why they are argui…

Might not be. The viewpoint of most people that argued against abortion (from what I’ve seen) isn’t to control women, but it’s that life has already begun for the baby. Probably more about winning the argument than anything though. Both sides can have examples of moral high grounds in their own eyes. I’m not trying to argue for either side with this particular response, just feel that it’s a losing argument if we don’t understand what the other side is really trying to argue.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
