Girl bye.

Wanting a mother at home doesn't make someone a spoiled brat. Kids need their parents. You were forced to grow up because yours weren't around as much. That doesn't make you better.

God almighty are you actually out here defining what negging is to me? Hysterical.

1) i know what a neg is 2) it wasn't a neg. he just meant it in a "you're such a catch" way God you people can be so annoying. Grow up. You don't know everything. My own mistake for sharing anything with random internet people.

Hahaha I said the same thing.

Y'all are driving me nuts with this. Of course he wasn't 100% perfect. I just said "perfect" to mean "it was going really really well." Y'all take one word and spit out a paragraph. It's too much sometimes. Thanks for the help though.

No you're misinterpreting. Obviously he knew I was single. But about a month or two in the relationship he said he was surprised I wasn't already married, meaning that he thought I was a catch and was surprised some other guy hadn't beaten him to locking me down yet (that sort of idea)

I addressed this in another user's comment vvv Yes of course there are things that, looking back, I can try to pick apart But the biggest concern is that many of them are so subtle and insidious, it's easy to rationalize one way or another. They're not very clear hard res flags at all and that's the concern. It's easy for the RPW community to tell me "oh this was a red flag when he _____" but they're only saying that because they know the truth/ending. A whiiiiile ago I once posted on RPW asking…

In the case of these types of relationships, yes Sometimes the red flags don't show up until several months into the relationship, which is what happened in this case. Even then, a trademark of the Narcissist is to completely deflect and convincingly exonerate himself.

I wasn't referring to you.

Simple, it was one of two options 1) I'd go on my rational rant about what upset me blah blah and he'd stay silent listening to me. For about 30 min. Then he would calmly and sensitively break down every single thing I said and reword it BETTER as if he were in my head and then he'd give me his rational loving response. Then I'd tear up and cry out of relief and he'd hug me and we'd fall asleep together Orrrrr 2) he'd corner me in the bathroom(he's 6'1, 200lbs) at 6am screaming at me at the top …

I didn't have plans to marry him during the time we dated and no where in my post did I suggest that.

What's there to be serious about? A lot actually. And I'm not interested in being "fun to be around" as of now, I'm just focused on my own recovery, not anyone else's entertainment. So what's there to be serious about you ask? Well.. me leaving an emotionally and (at times) physically abusive relationship less than a week ago. I read your part about the personality disorders and sure I agree, just doesn't apply to me bc I don't have any diagnosable mental illness. I don't need to remind you not …

Okay, this is the actual real-life shit I was interested in hearing. Obviously I'm not one to make excuses for my life, but goodness gracious I reeeeeally get impatient when I give a complicated situation and the general response is "did you try turning it off and on again" ("vet vet vet"). And wait a second: two years for what? What are you even talking about? Two years to let him pay for something ??

This is good advice and I have tried this, not intentionally.. but it served the same purpose. A trademark tactic of a narcissist is to impressively turn their wrongdoing on the victim and fully convince the victim that it was the victim's fault. Obviously I came to RPW for the no-BS responses but I'll be honest, I was hoping to be met with more sensitivity about the entire situation rather than receive impotent remarks like "vet vet vet" that don't encompass handling ACTUAL emotional abusers be…

Kind of just going to glaze over your post because, though I'm happy for you, I'm hearing more about how happy your are with your own relationship than content that is useful to me. I don't have BPD or anything of that sort and "get that under control :p" is too flippant advice if someone actually had a personality disorder. And in any case, that's what you've got? I tell you I'm recovering from narcissistic abuse (an actual psychiatric phenomenon) and the PTSD symptoms associated with it and yo…

It was several months into the relationship He knows my background/upbringing and I insisted countless times on paying for dinner but he always insisted. To try to repay him, I often bought him gifts, his favorite candy/groceries, etc to show my appreciation and my lack of interest in his money. He knew I was happy doing nothing with him. He knew very well that I am not a gold digger.

I addressed some of these in a later comment to a different user vvvvv

Well obviously I didn't move in with him and didn't intend to. I gently told him it was too soon for that without making it sound like I wasn't into him. He has still tried to contact me many times, but I blocked him from all social media and blocked his phone number. I also shipped the last of his things to him as opposed to driving it to him. I think, after working through all the manipulation and confusion, I handled the whole thing pretty swiftly and cleanly in terms of breaking up. I don't …

How so? It was said in jest/ we were at dinner and I offered to split the bill but he insisted otherwise.

I'm not disagreeing with any of what you're saying. But my point is that the "red flags" and "warning signs" are the actual evidence and it ONLY seems to show up when one's guard is down and the front will stay up for months (even years in some cases) until the abuser is certain the claws are in. Saying "vet vet vet" can only take one so far. I met his family. Of course it went well. That's my point. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary.

Thanks, this is really sincere and helpful. I guess I'm just worried about how long that will take. I'm not "picky" in a senseless way ("oh he has to be at least 6'2, green eyes, etc etc) but obviously I'm picky about character qualities. I just hope I can find the right person in time bc I want to give my best years to the right guy, not spend them searching for him :/.

No that's not it either. It's just a pathetic attempt to flirt with the girls on here. It reeks of desperation.
/r/RedPillWomen29/05/17 01:38 AM

None of what he said was funny. Can't believe you find it at all attractive.

Very glad we needed a RP-inspired Olympic acceptance speech to get the motivation to not throw toddler tantrums.
