Kind of. They're run separately but are subsidiaries of a very large private German family company. 1 brother is head of Aldi and the other is head of Trader Joes. They are the exact same business model, providing a single store brand of each item with a more efficient store lay out, but they source very different products.

You're right, I should have said it may be reasonable to say..., if supported by the evidence, and such an argument isn't invalid on it's face. I did not mean to suggest that rape is qualitatively worse if men do it, I apologize for that possible interpretation of what I said. I meant it may be the case that male aggressor rape is an easier problem to solve, that the cultural forces that contribute to it may be easier to target. I think we need to be careful to draw a distinction between people …

I don't assume it, it's an empirical matter deserving of research, research which I'm sure has largely been done that I don't particularly want to look up right now, I'm just saying we should be open to that possibility, and the possibility that some people who's message can be simplified to "tell men to stop raping" may actually be saying the more nuanced message that male aggressor rape has specific causes mostly unique to it which can be addressed to a greater profit than some other problems …

I agree that's one sided and attention should be paid to female aggressor rape, but I think it's reasonable to say that the cultural forces that contribute to female aggressor rape are often different than those that contribute to male aggressor rape, and both need to be addressed, and where they diverge they need to be addressed separately.

I think the key to whether it was a good hookup or not was if she regretted it later or not, and it doesn't sound like she did/would. Maybe it was a bit manipulative at times, but the key point where the decision was made was when he asked her back to his for tea, clearly an inuendo, and he doesn't indicate forcing her decision at that point at all. She freely chose the path they went down and it sounds like they both enjoyed it.

You look at them, not past or around them, and take notice. Allot of times they'll go on exactly as they were and you'll just move on to the next thing or person who needs your attention, sometimes they'll look up though and make eye contact, then you smile slightly, or maybe do that eye smile thing(not something I've thought about before).

Hasn't backfired for me. The point is to project a benevolent but confident air and acknowledge their existence. Staring them down stonefaced could easily cause more trouble though, I don't suggest you do that.
